Rocco

Oh my god. This book was unbelievable. Hot doesn't even come to mind. I knew James and Izzy were so deep. But Rocco being their son is out of this world HOT. 10 years ago Rocco felt a lose . well she's back and he's going crazy.

5 star Review Ember (Men of Inked: Heatwave #7) by Chelle Bliss

After finishing Spark, I was a little worried about what Chelle Bliss had in store for Ember, book seven in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series. Having read all the previous books I was convinced that I have already read my favourite but I wasn’t counting on James and Izzy’s son Rocco who I adore.

I fell hard and fast for this swoon worthy, caring, protective and passionate man and knew that the woman who earned his love would need to be special. When I learnt that the woman who burrowed deep down into his soul is Rebel, a woman from his past and that she is also a single mum, I knew we were in for one heck of a ride.

This was a fast paced, passionate, story which will keep you on the edge of your seat as danger and suspense unfolds. Reading a book about any member of the Gallo family is for me like catching up with much loved family members.

There is humour, steam, tears and an adorable little girl called Adeline who almost stole the book right out from under the Gallo clan. This book is all about love and family and what one will do for the person who holds their heart. I love this generation of the Gallo’s as much as the originals.

Okay, so this is book seven in the series and I know you guys that follow my reviews are probably sick of me saying this but …. this is how you cover #win!! Do you guys know that that phrase means? It doesn’t just mean it’s a winning cover; it means it’s the kind of cover you come across while surfing around a vendor site or a cover someone points out to you and you one-click the book without a second thought. That’s the true meaning behind that phrase and Chelle Bliss has accomplished this in 6 of the 7 books thus far. Those statistics are ridic and honestly, I can’t think (without looking it up) of a single time that’s been the case. She needs an award just for that. Just sayin.

But I’ve derailed … Let’s chat about the words inside, shall we :) spectacular once again! I don’t even know what to concentrate the most about in my review because it was just all such a great package. Should I talk about Rocco and his swoon-worthy growth and development in the story? Should I talk about the passion and deliciousness that poured from the story? Should I talk about little Addy and how she stole the show every time she appeared? *happy sigh* Should I talk about Rebel and her history and how it just tore my heart to shreds but Chelle swooped in and gave me so much darn hope in all the things with her ridiculous writing skills? Should I talk about how spectacular this second chance to get things right storyline unfolded and had me captivated and glued to my kindle for hours on end?

Do you need more? Just go do the thing. Seriously.

Oh my heart Chelle....you sure do know how to write one helluva second chance romance that pulls at those heartstrings!!! I have been impatiently waiting for these Caldo twins and first we get Rocco and holy hell does this man know how to make you swoon!!

Rocco and Rebel's story is heartbreaking, emotional, sexy and down right swoon-worthy you can't help but fall in love with them and their love story! Plus how could you possibly not fall head over heels in love with Adaline, Rebel's adorable daughter!!

In true Gallo fashion we get the crazy family antics and love that we've all come to adore with this big crazy family! This is one story you can't help but devour but prepare yourself because Carmello's book is coming and I have a feeling he's going to be brought to his knees!!!

(audiobook) Reading a new author is always a journey. Even with known tropes and genres, you never know what to expect. This was my first book by this author, and though it wasn’t perfect, I quite liked it.

Often authors shy away from anything explicit–unless it’s a sexy scene. Nothing like that here. The beginning of the story, which happens in the past, is absolutely gut-wrenching and gory. It’s especially crushing as the car accident follows some sexy time. It’s also the origin of all Rebel’s and Rocco’s problems and bad decisions.

We meet them again ten years later. Rocco has sworn off love, and Rebel is running away from an abusive relationship with her young daughter. Rocco offers them to stay with him to protect them when it becomes clear that Rebel’s ex will come for her. That’s the gist of the suspense part of the story. It was mostly an afterthought for most of the book though.

The focus is on the romance and how they slowly build a relationship. Family is also important–Rocco’s is big and welcoming, while Rebel has only known rejection for hers. Rebel’s is now reduced to her daughter, so Rocco’s relationship with Adaline is another strong element in the story. There’s past lust and, according to both of them, past feelings, but they’ve had a life after their short fling, hence they need to build something new, learn about each other. But their past is a solid foundation, so the seduction and flirting is limited.

I didn’t feel the BDSM element in Rocco’s life was really necessary, but I did like the character anyway. He’s protective, and shows a cute side when he’s with Adaline. He’s also a family man, and we see a lot of his relationship with his parents and his twin brother. I don’t know how to feel about Rebel though. Her life choices made little sense, and the way she reacts after some of Rocco’s actions seemed a bit over the top.

The narration did add something to the story. The female narrator had the proper spunk for Rebel, and the male narrator was adequatly alpha. The characters’ emotions, both from the main couple and all the side characters, were brought to life, and it made for an enjoyable audiobook.

Quickie

- Series: Men of inked: Heatwave #7 (can be read as a standalone)
- Hashtags: #romantic suspense #forced cohabitation #second chance romance #single mom #twins
- Triggers: graphic car accident with death, mention of domestic abuse, violence, light BDSM
- Main couple: Rebel Bishop & Rocco Caldo
- Hotness: 5/5
- Romance: 3/5
- + Rocco’s interactions with Rebel’s daughter were adorable
- – I didn’t feel like the BDSM part added anything to the story

Ember is book seven from the Men of Inked:Heatwave Series. The Heatwave Series is the 2nd generation spin-off from the Men of Inked Series. This book can easily be read as a standalone, but when you get hooked to these characters like me, you'll want to go and binge read the series from the beginning. This story focuses on Rocco Caldo and Rebel Bishop.

GAH, I Loved Rocco so much! He def has a mixture of all his uncle's and his dad running through his veins. He's vigilant like Thomas, has Mike's ego, Anthony's grumpiness, Joe's charisma, his dad's kink, and all the Gallo/Caldo Alpha tendencies and tempers.  And talk about ovary explosion when it came to him with Addy! I also loved his bond with his twin Carmello.

Rebel has had a rough go at life. At this point she always expects things to go wrong. She can be closed off, skeptical, and somewhat cynical. Having life beat her down has left her with an empty feeling of lonliness and low self-esteem. Rebel is a survivor though, with a huge stubborn streak and a fire beneath it all. She has had to fend for herself most of her life, so being around the Caldo/Gallo crew was like living in an alternate universe. She was awed by such a large, affectionate, and loving family.

This is a second chance romance. You're heart will break, at the beginning but Bliss will mend it back together. Particularly with the classic Gallo banter and humor we all love. You'll be swooning hard with Rocco and cheer him on when it comes to winning over Rebel, as they are destined to be together. They balance each other out and have a special bond, especially after everything they went through. These books get better and better, so naturally I was sad for it to end. But I'm looking forward to Carmello's book and know we'll get more Rocco and the rest of the crew too!

This is an honest review for an arc received.

“You make me feel alive. So freaking alive and, for the first time in m y life, as if someone actually cares about me.”

Rebel has had a heartbreaking and tragic life. Her own defining moment was becoming a mom to her sweet and sassy daughter Adaline. When an ex-boyfriend is a threat to her and her daughter she calls the one person she’s kept in touch with after 10 years, Carmello Caldo. When Carmello offers a safe place for them, Rocco is determined to make sure that she is safe. Although Rebel and Rocco have a past she’s determined to keep her heart intact and not let Rocco back in.

“I want your happiness more than I want my own.”

Rocco Caldo is one of 3 survivors of a tragic accident. Still haunted by the events of that night, he’s sworn off love and meaningful relationships. Although he had an instant attraction and off the charts chemistry with Rebel, the accident destroyed what could have been. Fast forward 10 years later, and now Rebel needs protection. What he’s banking on is a chance to redeem himself for his wrongs over the years. What he isn’t prepared for is a little girl to completely steal his heart, and her mother who he wants to protect.

“You give her all of yourself, and she’ll be yours forever.”

5 hot, steamy stars!!! This is a passionate story about a second chance at love after tragedy and years apart. You can’t ignore the instant chemistry, which is what they had prior to being ripped apart. I loved seeing Izzy and James with little Adaline. This little girl is sweet and sassy and you can’t help but fall in love with her. She has these big bad Caldo men eating out of the palm of her hand, and it’s amazing!!! I can’t wait for Carmello’s book! Chelle Bliss knocked this one out of the park!

“When a man has feelings for a woman, he treats her like a queen, and never gives her a reason to leave.”

I always like going back to the Gallo world. This family is everything you want in a family. I absolutely love this series so I was excited to get my hands or should I say ears on this.

Chelle grips you from the very first page pulling you in and keeping you intrigued till the very last page. I knew this was going to be good but this was so much more than I expected. She weaves a beautiful love story that is filled with heartbreak, emotion and sexiness to wet your romantic appetite. It’s filled with family, love and happily ever afters.

Izzy and James were my favorite couple from the Inked series so it was no surprise I would love Rocco. He’s half his mom and half his father which is a wicked combination. He’s just like all the other Gallo men, alpha and protective with a sweet and sexy side. Rebel reminds me so much of a younger Izzy. She’s stubborn and confident but knows when she needs help. And the sweet Adeline. The adorable child had everyone wrapped around her finger. Especially Izzy. It was a change seeing the badass Izzy loving on the kid.

Samantha Brentmoor is a favorite of mine so it was no surprise that she did an amazing job bringing Rebel to life. She knows how to do a female voice and her male voice is great too. Connor Crais is a new obsession to me. I loved the sexy timber he voiced in my ears. He was the perfect choice for Rocco. This was a great listen.

I am looking forward to the other Caldo twin and what woman brings him to his knees. I look forward to what Chelle has in store.

PERFORMANCE: I have to say, I've never been a huge fan of Samantha Brentmoor's overall performance in past audios I have listened to, but with this one, she captured Rebel's personality (as I interpreted it) really well and Connor Crais and her worked well off each other!!

Rocco & Rebel ... Passionate & emotional

Chelle Bliss set the scene for EMBER with her final scene in Spark. Well, we all think she did anyway. She made us think something had happened to one of the Caldo twins ... yeah right as if that was going to happen. This is Chelle Bliss, of course she's not going to harm any of our men. Instead, she was going to use it as a segue into Rocco and Carmello's stories. EMBER is Rocco Caldo and Rebel Bishop's story. It is sexy, hot, gritty, edgy, fun, emotional and unputdownable.

"When you're meant to be with someone, the world has a way of pushing you back together again. Just open your arms and enjoy the ride..."

Ten years ago Rocco Caldo and Rebel Bishop spent a steamy passionate night together. An instant connection was made, but it was taken away after a horrifying accident. Haunted by his memories, Roccco swears of love and having any meaningful relationships, for fear that he would lose them. Out of nowhere Rebel turns up, seeking a favour, she needs protection for herself and her daughter Adaline. What neither Rocco and Rebel expect to find is the attraction and chemistry between them still exists. Rocco also wasn't expecting to fall for a precocious five-year-old little girl.

"She feels right in my arms. Like everything I remember, but better."

EMBER is a passionate second-chance love story. Rocco was everything I have come to expect from a "Bliss Man". He was caring, tender, tough, protective, possessive, sweet and oh so loving. Typical of all "Bliss Men", once he gave his heart to a woman, there was no taking it back. Rebel was a breath of fresh air, sexy, sassy, a caring heart and had enough of a smart mouth to stop Rocco in his tracks. The heat between them is palpable. Asking for help is not easy for Rebel, but she knows her decision was the right one.

"You deserve happiness, and I want to be the one to give it to you, sugar."

What I love about Chelle's books is she always ensures that the rest of the Gallo family joins in with the fun. What I loved most about this one was the reactions of both Izzy and James to Rebel and Adaline. Izzy finally had her girls, and James finally had a daughter and the bonus benefit of a granddaughter as well. I also really enjoyed the relationship that existed between Rocco and his twin Carmello.

Chelle's Men Of Inked books are such so enjoyable to read. They're fun and lighthearted, but they also capture the importance of love and family. Family doesn't have to be blood, it can also be formed by love - EMBER was a perfect example of this.

Now to bide my time until Carmello's story arrives.

Ember is a fast paced, passionate, and exciting story that kept me engaged and eager to see what would happen next! There is danger & suspense, humour & heat. Rocco and Rebel were so likeable and fun, I was rooting for them the whole way! Narrated by Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor, this was an audio treat! A rather short listen, but not lacking in story or characters. I loved it!

Okay, wow!!
This book was really good!

This was an ARC, and I wouldn’t have been able to stop if I wanted! The whole story was amazing as they all seemed very interesting characters and way deeper than you could imagine.
It’s pretty short, I read it in one sitting and it was pretty easy to read.
I haven’t read any of the books of the series but it could be pretty much read as a stand-alone! Which I love!!
I loved the adventurous side of everyone and how open they were about talking about feelings and deep even though you would never imagine so!

I would definitely recommend reading this if you love re kindled love and a former “bad boy” (and that’s hard to place on the hero) with a huge heart!

This story has the expected heat of the Gallo/Caldo men... but it was disjointed with odd bits dropped here and there and not explained. Rebel goes to college on a full ride scholarship with no family to speak of. It is mentioned that she joined a sorority. How could she afford that? And then why is she alone later with zero support? I thought sorority sisters were for life?

Rocco does not answer her phone calls for years? Why? That makes zero sense with the story. Why would he ignore her? Rocco is fierce and protective - of course he would answer her call.

This book needed more editing and a friendly eye to catch these odd sidelines that made absolutely zero sense and muddied the plot.

Rocco and Rebel are HOT. Their chemistry will burn the sheets. One night 10 years ago and still they cannot forget it. Now they are reunited, and those sparks are flying. This story is explosive. I absolutely love everything Gallo and these stories just keep getting better and better. Now the offspring of the originals and they are even hotter than their parents if that could be possible. But we are talking Chelle Bliss, of course, they are hotter. Rocco has not been the same since the accident. He has closed his heart to love because of it. Rebel has not had the best life, and no one stays in her life. One way or another she always ends up alone. But now she has Adaline, and she will do anything to protect her. Unlike Rocco, Rebel still believes in love. She knows she will find it one day; she just does not know when. The last 2 men in her life were not the best choices. The only one who has ever made her feel special was Rocco. But unanswered phone calls have left her to feel that he was not what she thought. But she is back now because she needs somewhere to get her head on straight. Rocco tells her that she will be staying with him, he will protect her. She is hesitant since there has been no communication between them in the last 10 years. Although he has not forgotten her. She is what he needs to heal. Only she and his brother know what he is going through since the accident. She is the only one he wants. Other women never made him feel. She has been his from the first moment he met her. Now to get her to see that and realize they belong together.
I love how the Gallo’s and the Caldo’s have accepted Rebel and Adaline. Izzy finally gets her girls. And James finally gets his daughter and a beautiful granddaughter too. Love, family that is what this series is all about. It does not get better than that.

The Gallo family is one of my all-time favorite fictional families. Every time I jump back into their world, it is like returning home. Although it is hard for me to play favorites, if I had to pick a favorite couple from the Men of Inked original series, it would have to be James and Izzy so to say I have been highly anticipating their twins’ books is an understatement! When I got to the end of Spark (Nick and Jo's book) I won't lie, I was a little fearful for what I would be in for but I should know to trust Chelle Bliss wouldn't completely obliterate my heart and I ended up adoring how this story played out! Rocco and Rebel are my new favorite!

Rocco is most definitely the son of James! He is dominating, protective and loyal but also caring, attentive and has a huge heart. From the moment I began reading the prologue to the very end, I was consumed by this story and never anticipated the high level of emotions this book would put me through. Rocco and Rebel's story pulled at my heartstrings, but it is also mixed with the crazy antics and goodness of all the Gallos so we get all things I love about this series, heart, humor and heat! I loved Rocco and Rebel’s fantastic chemistry. My kindle was in jeopardy of catching fire multiple times. Even though their hearts needed some healing from the past the passion between them was never in question. As with all the women in this series, Rebel fit right in. She is strong and powerful and a wonderful single mother and she didn’t hesitate to ask for help when needed either. Chelle Bliss completely owns my heart with this series, and I cannot wait for Carmello’s book next.

Ember Men of Inked Heatwave #7 is absolutely Phenomenal!!
I was riveted to my seat and spent every spare second emerged into this absolutely amazing and emotional rollercoaster of a story.
Chelle Bliss has made us laugh, cry, swoon and taken our breath away.
Ember is Rocco and Rebel's story.
What starts out to be fun loving, lust filled weekend turns into a life changing tragedy.
This story takes us places we struggle to go and we love every moment. Rocco and Rebel's relationship is awkward and the history between them is heavy. When she's in trouble a decade later after a horrific incident that pulled them apart he's there to help her not even thinking twice.
You have all the Gallos back in the fold and in true Gallo style, they go above and beyond to help and bring peace, safety and most of all love to Rebel and her young daughter.
Emotions will run rampant. Chelle pulls no punches and gives us blow after blow of emotional shocks to our hearts. She will leave you a wreck in a fabulous way. Shes a truly gifted author to pull all our strings like she does and keep us begging for more of her Bliss.
5 Stars and if I could I would give more. Ember has fired it's way to my personal #2 Favorite of the Heatwave series. I am not sure how many tissues I went through but I know Ember seeped into my soul and heart.
Phenomenal job Chelle Bliss. You are truly amazing.

Ember is a wonderful addition to the Men of Inked: Heatwave Series. As soon as I saw the blurb for Rocco and Rebel’s story I knew we were going to be in for one very special read and Ms Bliss did not disappoint because this book was everything I expected and so much more. It’s beautifully written, it’s emotional and it will certainly tug on your heart strings. It was always going to take a special lady to win Rocco’s heart after all he has a very special mother to compare all woman too but as soon as I met Rebel I knew this single mum from his past was going to be that woman.
This is a fast paced, emotional and passionate story that touched me on so many levels, I loved Rocco and Rebel, I smiled, I swooned and I sighed but it was an adorable little girl called Adeline who stole the show with her classic one liners that left me giggling. . I love the Gallo family and just when I think I have read the best from this series, we get another heartthrob to fall hard and fast for, we get more characters to add depth to the family and we get another read we won’t forget. Im really loving this second generation series and I’m excited for the next instalment.

I could not wait for this book, after the way Spark ended I had to know what was going on with Carmello.
Now, this is Rocco's story and it is sexy and HOT AF and even better than the last one. So if you didn't read Spark, you need to.
Rocco is a man who isn't looking for love but when a woman from his past shows up needed a play to stay he can't help the old feelings from resurfacing. And he can't stop her daughter from getting under his skin either.
Rebel is an independent woman looking for a place to stay until she can get her thoughts together. Rocco was the person she thought could give her that shelter. But she didn't think about the burning desire still inside her she still felt for him even after 10 years.
Can Rocco and Rebel handle being around each other with the sizzle between them? Can they make a relationship work without getting burned in the end?
I am loving this series with the Gallo kids grown up. I hope you will give them a shot and that you love them too.

Chelle Bliss SLAYS with her latest installment of the Men of Inked: Heatwave series!
For avid book nerds like myself, reading the latest book in a beloved series often feels like coming home and catching up with some of your favorite people. Chelle Bliss’s “Ember,” the latest in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series, was just that for me. A long-time fan of the Gallo Family, I recall the birth of twins Rocco and Carmello to one of my favorite couples – James and Izzy! “Ember” focuses on the now-in-his-late-twenties Rocco, who inherited his father’s insanely good looks and special brand of alpha growliness, and Rebel, a gorgeous, spitfire who re-enters Rocco’s life after ten years. Their HEA isn’t easily won, and as with so many other Gallo novels, there is an element of suspense and danger woven into the story. Their chemistry is almost tangible, and for all his intensity, we get a glimpse of Rocco’s soft side where the AWWWW moments were plentiful, and the pearl clutchers had me fanning myself! These characters, though…the way Ms. Bliss develops her cast of characters and brings everyone from earlier books back for special cameos in the current plot is one of the things that I look forward to with each and every read. I found myself reading it in one sitting, crying at some parts and laughing out loud at others, and I finished it feeling once again in awe of Ms. Bliss’s talent. She has painstakingly created a world of people that fans love so much because at the heart of it all is family. So, so looking forward to the next installment, and honest to goodness wishing I could give this AT LEAST double the stars!!!

Burning hot and bright!

Rocco Caldo is good looking and he knows it! His twin, Carmello, shares the same face but spends time with a girl called Carrie. One night she brings her friend Rebel and everything changes! Rocco and Rebel have a hot chemistry that smolders. In an accident that takes Carrie's life, Rocco and Rebel lose touch. Ten years later, Rebel needs help and Carmello offers it. Meeting Rocco again, the chemistry is still there and burning just as hot! What happens when Rebel's past rears its head? Can Rebel finally trust someone and ask for help? How will she react when her daughter falls in love with Rocco and his family? Can they both overcome their fears and take the next step? This truly was a fabulous read that was worth the wait! Chelle gives you characters that are strong even when they are a little flawed and this makes you fall in love with them as they fall in love! can't wait for the next book from Chelle, she's an author that excites my reading addiction!

Emotionally riveting, adorable and downright steamy! Lust brought them together, but tragedy tore them apart. A decade has passed since the weekend they wouldn't be able to forget if they wanted to and emotions are flying high when Rocco and Rebel reconnect. I loved every minute of their story.

Rocco is already adored before we even get to know the heart of him just because of the beloved family he is a member of. Watching him let his guard down and re-fall for Rebel was so satisfying.

Rebel is a powerful character. She lost the one solid she had left in life and went on to flounder through the best she knew how. As a single mother with a precocious little girl, she's willing to put her pride aside and ask for help when she needs to outrun danger.

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire series to anyone who loves a family of alpha men and feisty women who love them. Every book is filled with love, laughter and a whole lot of sass.

We meet Rocco Caldo in this book, who is Izzy (Gallo) & James son and you have to love all the men this family!! Rocco & Rebel meet, hook up, then don’t see each other for ten years after a terrible tragedy. They’ve each dealt with it in their own way, but neither have really moved on & healed from it. They reunite after Rebel calls Carmelo, Rocco’s twin brother, for help in trying to get away from an ex-boyfriend. She comes back with her adorable five year old daughter Adaline. Rebel has never had a family or friends to truly count on until she meets Rocco’s family & all of the Gallo’s.

It was wonderful seeing them find each other to heal, move on from their pasts to truly get their happily ever after. ❤️

"Rebel was the one woman I could never walk away from."

I’ve been highly anticipating the Caldo twins books and of course, Chelle Bliss exceeded my expectations. Rocco Caldo is hot as sin and Ember (Men Of Inked: Heatwave #7) is absolutely everything!! Rocco and Rebel met ten years ago, tragedy struck and they haven’t seen each other since. Both of them have been through a lot and are definitely in need of happiness. And once they’re reunited, it’s more than obvious that the flames between them never died. These two have such an amazing connection and their chemistry is off the charts. And Rebel’s sweet little daughter, Adaline is such a wonderful addition to the story (especially when she interacts with Rocco). I love the storyline as it’s full of passion, heat, humor (The Gallo family and their crazy antics never disappoints) and emotions. I can’t wait to read Carmello’s book!!

Rocco and Rebel had one off the charts hot weekend together and then tragedy struck. It changed the course of both of their lives forever. When they are suddenly thrown back into each other’s lives, 10 years later, they quickly realize the chemistry is still there. Loss has changed them but can they find a way to open their heart to the other and take a chance on love?

I am loving every book in the Heatwave Series. I fell in love with the original Gallo characters in Men of Inked and getting to watch the love and commitment to family carry on in the next generation is wonderful. Chelle does an amazing job of giving each character their own unique story. Ember is steamy, sexy and has a touch of suspense to keep you on your toes. Sweet little Addy will make you smile and Izzy is her usual bigger than life personality. We got a little bit of the other Gallo cousins and of course Nonna and her dinners. Always looking forward to the next Gallo story and Carmello won’t disappoint I’m sure.

Ember is a fantastic addition to the Men Of Inked: Heatwave series! It is a well written, emotional story that will pull at your heartstrings and keep you engaged from the beginning to the end.
From heartbreaking circumstances to heart mending love, fate has put Rocco and Rebel in each other’s lives twice and now they have a second chance to see if those sparks they once had could light a fire once more.
Rocco is just as alpha and protective as his father and uncles so it’s no wonder that he can’t help but step up and help Rebel and her sweet daughter when they show up and are in trouble.
Anyone Rebel has ever cared about has left her. She hasn’t had a family that has her back and looks out for her until she shows back up in Rocco’s life and not only does he welcome her but the entire Caldo and Gallo clan circle around her and her daughter like they are already part of the family.

The Ember has been lit🔥

Ember is book 7 in the Men of Inked series and focuses on Rocco, one of the Caldo twins (Izzy and James’ sons). If you remember the previous book, it ended with uncertainty as the twins had been involved in an accident and no one knew what had happened or if they were ok😢 This story starts off at that point and it broke my heart to read what they went through💔

This story is all about finding love and bringing happiness into your life and I think Rebel was perfect for Rocco😍 I did not want to put this book down because I wanted to know what happens but I also didn’t want to finish it either as I love this Gallo/Caldo family so much❣️Heaps of emotions in this one and I absolutely loved it and I’m looking forward to Carmello’s story next😁

I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review❤️

I love this so much I've read it twice already! We all know how hot the Gallo men are, but just wait until you meet the Caldo men!! Rocco is Izzy and James son. He has gone through more in his 29 years then many people. Ten years ago he the one person for him, only to have tragedy affect everything. Rebel is tough and has always looked out for herself, but just one night with Rocco made her want more....until they couldn't. Ten years later Rebel seeks refuge from the only person she thinks he can count on, Rocco's twin, and Rocco is having none of that! They sizzle is still there, but so is ten years of pain, and the only thing that has kept Rebel sane the last few years turns out to be the glue that helps heals both of them. This is definitely an emotional rollercoaster that will make you cry, laugh, make you scream...both good and bad! What makes their story extra special is the interactions with the rest of his huge, crazy family! I loved this so much and I can't wait for Mellos' story!!!

OMG, I Loved it! I could not put this story down! Love Rocco and Rebel. Their passion is intense and their romance is hot!  Things aren't easy and I hated the tragedy they went through as kids that forced them apart, but I loved how not even 10 years could kill their connection. Lots of drama and suspense, and of course laughs involving the Gallos & Caldos. Oh, can we talk about the cuteness factor in this story when dealing with a certain pink-loving 5-year-old who captures everyone's heart?  Even Izzy  & James were putty in Adaline's hand. I always assumed IZZY was going to be tough on any girl dating one of her sons but oh man did she surprise me... she made me feel! Laughs and tears! Ember is a great read and the storyline definitely makes you realize that  "Love of a Family is the greatest gift!"
