This is the continuation of the Magnus Campbell saga who is a time traveler, Highlander, King from the future, and above all husband to Kaitlyn. These stories MUST be read in order starting with Kaitlyn and the Highlander. Yes, these stories are very far fetched. Yes, crazy things happen during each installment. The characters are all larger than life and heroes in their own right.
The “Family” of Kaitlyn and Magnus is all encompassing and includes many friends who have been through a lot together along with Magnus’ two children and his crazy plotting mother.
I enjoy these stories as a way to escape the typical romance genre and of course reading them thus far ensures I will be ready for the next installment coming December 2021 😉

After 14 books you wonder if Kaitlyn and Magnus will ever find their Happily Ever After. But this is not that book. Magnus and his whole crew decide to hide all the vessels and hide out. While some people would move to a different country this group decides to move to a different time.
Hiding out in the 18th century works for a while but something is wrong with Magnus instead of getting rested and stronger he is getting weaker. This book takes place in the past and in the future with very little time spent in the present. It's good to see everyone just living a regular life. Although they are on alert, they manage to live as normal a life as one can in the 18th century.
Of course, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is and in this case, even when it seems it's is time to celebrate you know it's not going to happen.

Another mind-blowing winner!
I absolutely love how Diana can keep track of past/future events and smoothly continue the story as if the books were all written at the same time! This book introduces new characters, like Sophie & Rebecca, who have us on the edge of wondering who they are and what is to come from them in the future.
I love how Katie continues to live by her mantra, the motherf@#":&* matriarch!!

Finally a place to hide or maybe not!!
The family finally has a place to hide keeping a low profile, being together, then out of the blue storms come a new person comes to the Castle saying she is a distant cousin. James marries her, Kaitlyn received a message from Lady Mairead goes to her and leaves only to be in s dangerous place with the man who wants Magnus throne. It's a whirl wind event like no other, great story and very exciting. Recommend with a 5 Stars review

Fabulous
This book was sensational her stories get better and better. The laughs the tears and the joys you share with her characters. I recommend this book to those who love time travel. You will not regret it. Very excited to read the next book. Onwards and upwards Diana Knightley. Loved kilchurn Florida is the best.

hiatus
This book began slow and went through everyday stuff but served as a good bridge for what was to come. There are loose end which will hopefully be addressed in future books. Quite enjoyable and action packed ending even though abrupt. My stomach sinks with Katie’s when she sees the letters and understands their meaning. Can’t wait for the next installment!

Love this series!
I don’t know if my words can do justice to this series. This book is another great book that adds to a wonderful series. No matter how long it takes for the next book I want it to go on and on! The characters feel like an extended family. It’s so hard to explain but if you want to understand just read it then you will know how I feel!!!

WOW!
Ms. Knightley has done it again! This is such an awesome series and this book has added to the romance, humor, whiplash inducing plot twists, and excitement that has been in all of the previous books! I absolutely LOVED it and HIGHLY recommend it!

Tons of giggles right from the start
This ended way too fast. I need to learn to slow down. It starts off at a run and never slowed down. No tears this book...but lots a great laughs. This is my absolute favorite series!!

As usual this was another great story. Loved how the HEAs just kept going. Worried about Kaitlyn was in a terrible situation but came out in flying colors. Glad Magnus got well and James and Sophie are together. Can’t wait for the next book.

Rocked it again!
I love these characters like they’re m’own family and your ability to do that is outstanding. Not only because of the storyline, but the ability to never fall short, repeatedly, in the growing number of books. I can’t wait for the next one!
