Evil dragonriders are the worst.

And the only ones who can defeat them are the good riders—the Dragon Elite.

But fighting those who refuse to play by rules can be tricky.

It’s difficult for Sophia Beaufont to get the upper hand when she refuses to loosen her morals.

That’s exactly what makes her a Dragon Elite though.

However, even if you’ve got angels on your side and fight for good, it doesn’t mean you’ll be successful.

The Rogue Riders won’t stop until they’ve won.

Or they are put down.

Can Sophia stop the evil riders while also not starting a war that ends dragons forever? Or will they be forced to fight until there is no one left?

This has been a fantastic series that has had me hooked from the very start and this final book is a fantastic way to end this series! There’s action, adventure, love and this has been an absolutely thrilling ride. Loose ends are tied up, surprises arise, eggs are hatching and an unexpected ending which has me looking forward to the next series!

A great sense of happy completion

Sometimes the world doesn't work and sometimes like the movies and in books it all clicks together as if things were designed so.
After over 20 books of Liv/ Sophie's stories things come almost prophetically together with action/ jokes and some harrowing escapes and mad helpers.
The ending is expected but the enjoyment and how well the stories merge from jigsaw pieces into a complete whole is excellent.
Another series completed with a sad smile and a hopeful expression to perhaps see more from such heartfelt characters.

What a way to end the series. Book 12 is full of adventure ,action and love. I have loved these characters since the first book and I will miss them. Ms Noffke has wrapped up all the loose ends and Sophia is the key to everything again. I don't want to hint at spoilers so I won't give too many details. Eggs are hatching and new riders are arriving. The Dragon Elite are finally entering the 21st Century. There is a wedding planned and the Fairy Godmother college has updated too. It is the best book yet.

Words cannot express

Sophia really does get a happy resolution. Just not, quite, the one I thought it would be. I am so ridiculously sad that this series has ended, but so happy to see my friends (her characters) achieve their happiness. A thrilling, and joyful, end to really TWO series worth of developments, with an Easter egg or two for the next series.
S.Beaufort is kickass, and will be so wonderful in her new role.

So very, very good

Such an outstanding book, almost like getting two books in one. Its seems like there were two completely different stories in this book and both were outstanding. Full of action, adventures, laughter, danger, and King Rudolf, what more could you ask for. The second one has an unexpected ending but I guess things had to happen that way. Great writing!!!!!

Great ending to a wonderful and very entertaining series. Plenty of action and some surprises. The relationships with all the characters is so fun. It was great to see Sophia's leadership develop over the series.
I'm not done with Sophia yet though. So I'm hoping just like Liv features prominently in this series, Sophia will feature in the Fairy Godmother series. Can't wait.

Great series

Sarah wound this series up very nicely. I'm sad to be done with it for now. Of course I felt the same with her other projects. I would definitely recommend reading about the Beaufont family!

Another great read

S. Beaufont is helping plan a wed, working on finding the Rouge Riders, trying to figure out a way to know which eggs are angel versus demon. And more!

Great series.

This has been a terrific series .
The characters were amazingly real. Lunis jokes were so bad they were actually funny.
Thanks for a great series.

I’m sad this is the last in the series, but what a read! I’ve greatly enjoyed watching Sophia grow as a person and as a leader, and of course her relationship with Lunis the Incorrigible. Seeing old favourites from Liv’s series as well is always a delight. And the minor characters are hilarious! I’ll miss Cat, Lee, Ramy, Bep, Juergen, and Paul as well as King Rudolf, Mortimer, and the rest.

PS: there’s bonus content at the end, with chapters about the Fairy Godmother College!

Excellent

The final book in the series was just as enjoyable and eventful as the previous books. Great storyline and plot. Excited to see what happens with Liv's baby in the future.

Well I'm happy and Sad. I loved it but I'm so Sad that it's the last one.....but we have a new series starting soon so yay. I loved all the stuff with the baby and how much trouble it's already caused. I liked the trouble that the rogue fighters cause but I felt the final battle seemed too simple. I loved the fact that hiker finally got married and hopefully it'll chill him out a bit now. I liked the twist with the rogue riders in the end and it fits well.

Great series! I loved it that you still were able to read about how Liv is and Clark at times...so even tho this series was about Sophia it tied in the last series too, which added to the mystery and kept me enthralled.

I received an advanced copy for an honest review.

Oh boy, I don't even know where to start with this book - I could not put it down, yet I didn't want it to end because I knew it was the last book in the Sophia series (sob sob).

As usual, Sophia is juggling many tasks - doing one task leads to her having to do another, and that one to another and so on just so she can get the first task completed; Lunis is his usual witty self (and there's one bit I'm still laughing at 2 days later - it involves a snowball and that's all I'm saying on that :D); Liv is worried about her baby and what the Genie has done to it; new angel dragon riders arrive - and one is a surprise in more ways than one.

Will the corrupt council members get their comeuppance at last? Will Mortimer be able to solve his problems with the Union? How many times will Ramy die? (Gotta laugh at that one - Ms Noffke really knows how to kill her friends lol)

Rudolf, despite being a complete airhead, comes through yet again. I didn't like his character when he was first introduced in the Liv books, but he grew on me and is now one of my favourites.

Versalee is causing major havoc in the world and must be stopped, but where is she and the rogue riders hiding?

There's so much going on in this book but it all comes together nicely and I admit, I cried ugly tears at the end.

I'm sad that this is the last book, but hopefully we will see Sophia, Liv and many other characters in Ms Noffke's next series.

Oh what a finish to a magnificent series!! As I read this I reminisced on all the books leading up to this penultimate book, and what a name Ultimate Resolve, just perfect! No one crafts a fantasy series with so much fun, love, adventure and snark like Sarah Noffke and this was one of my favorite trips down the rabbit hole…just like her sister, Liv, Sophia brings justice to the world in her own way. I loved the arcs; of how Sophia learned and took the modern world to the Gullington, of how her morals stayed true all the way, how she grew into such a leader, how she dealt with crisis after crisis always with a smile on her face and a joke in her heart, how she bonded with Lunis, her faithful dragon with endless jokes, how she found love and how she loved. Her affect on the world brought balance by viewing the world in color not black and white. This was not only a fun adventure but also taught me a lot of the importance of laughter and morality in a world that was spiraling out of control. The final point is through Ms. Noffke we can witness beauty, snark, happiness and laughter to the world! Again a 5 gold star review for this book and this series. If you wanna have fun read it from the first book to this one, it’ll bring a smile to your heart and you’ll laugh into the wee hours…

This is an outstanding finish to a brilliantly crafted series. Sophia gets to battle pirates, help plan a wedding, solve a host of other problems and work on finding a solution to the dilemma of the Rogue Riders. New Dragon Riders arrive at Gullington and more eggs are hatching. This story draws you in from the very start, it has you laughing at Lunis’ bad jokes, King Rudolph’s scatterbrained ingenuity and Liv’s snark. There are some surprises, lots of action, danger, love and humour. I especially like the reflections of the authors personal life in this one, and how “mountains” can be made into “mole hills” with the right attitude and will. I am sad to see the end of this entertaining series and I hope we will get to visit with Sophia and her friends once again in the up coming new series by the same authors, "The Inscrutable Paris Beaufont".

Sophia comes up with a way to test the reliability and honesty of the various members of the Council of 14: a map that follows several tests to find the treasure. But first she has to get the assistance of her friends to do the tests. Not at all easy to do.

Some of the short/tall jokes are actually funny. There’s a surprise twist and wonderful discovery at the end

Footnote 1) I know I’ve said this before but the narrator makes almost all the characters sound angry and gritting their teeth even when they’re not. And a lot of the inflections are wrong for the situation. I would prefer to read these except I only have access to the audio versions.

Fave scenes: Liv asking Alicia for the machine, visiting gnome town, Rudolph’s test and Liv’s reaction to the elves test.

Thank you for the light and laughter during Covid!

I first read Sarah Noffke's Wolf series! That led me to the fabulous Luv Beaufont series, and now the Exceptional S. Beaumont series. These books have cost me lots of sleep because I just couldn't put them down. I love all the complex adventures that Sophia experiences peppered with Lunis and Wilder puns. With all the depressing news reports and senseless violence in our world, I do appreciate having your world's to escape to bringing snark, laughter, love, helpful friends, and the idea of people willing to fight to make their world a better place. Can't wait to meet Oaris!

Great ending to one of my favorite series!

I not only loved the ending but have loved the series. It has been a joy to meet and hang out with the Beaufont family Liv, Sophia and Clark. I grew up reading some of the greats Tolkien, C.S. Lewis and on and on.10's of thousands of books read and I was able to luck into a whole nest of great "here" and upcoming authors. Keep on writing, I'll keep reading!

S. Beaumont is the best of all of us

I have read all her tales. Her getting an dragon egg as a gift to her finding her place in a male driven profession. Falling in love and kicking butt. Joking with Cat and being baffled my Ruldolph Sweetwater. I laughed, screamed and cried through all 12 books, and all her sister Liv’s book. I cannot wait to see what these two come up with next.

Dragons,brownies, and magic

What a series of 12 books. Absolutely spell binding. The author weaves a tale of mystery and magic painting pictures which the reader feels part of. Far kings, pirates, dragons who tell awful jokes all make for books you cannot put down until you have finished the whole series. Cannot wait now for the next in the series where we will get to meet Liv Beaufonts Fairy daughter. wonder what she will get involved in.

Good book good series.

Rated this a 4 father than the 5 I gave the rest of the series, mostly because there was a bit too much explanation and the final result (no spoilers here) was, well a bit unbelievable even within a fantasy realm. Overall, a good, clean series with plots to satisfy adults, but clean enough for
Kids. We need more of this type of book. Thankfully, it looks like this author is prolific.

This is a spin off series from the "Unstoppable LIV Beaufont"..which is a great series. The story is about Sophia Beaufont (LIV's little sis) and about her being the 1st dragon rider in 100 years and 1st female rider EvER & all of her and her dragons challenges and adventures and love..ect.
I love the characters and personalities in this series and its funny. I also really enjoy how author pulls in characters from Sister LiV story.

I loved the series but the last three books we're way too much interplay between the characters with bad jokes and bad scenarios. Seems like filler too stretch out the book to me, I got tired of reading all the bad jokes and they were bad. After 8 or 9 books I'm familiar with the characters no need to flesh them out every book. The bad jokes between Lunis and Sophia were very tedious. I still loved the series, for the most part an excellent read and I would recommend it to readers.

Wow!

The story of Sophia has come a long way since the first book, she has become a very powerful and much loved character.
I don't think we have seen the last of the Beaufort family in fact we need more books please.
By the way this would make a wonderful film series too

Thank you Sarah and Michael

Interesting characters and young people to care about

I like this book as it brought all of they dragans and riders to an acceptable resolution for now. But their legacy is still alive.come on back anytime and spend more time in Quiet's world. Does he love it or hate it. It his world rocked when he receives compliments or devastated when someone hates his help or attitude?

Surprised!

Sarah Nolfke and Michael Anderle sure know how to wrap up a series with huge surprises and adventures. Ultimate Resolve is such a great read that I'm not going to give anything away. All I have to say is read this book. And if you haven't already started The Exceptional S Beaufont you most definitely should.
