Well first of all, what did I expect: a quick read, simple&foreseeable plot-lined ero-romance novel. Did it meet expectations? Yes.

However, it also met EVERY sexist, misogynistic and stereotypical descriptions of and behaviour towards women.

Although I do understand it’s a matter of „art“ to describe the main male as THE playboy of NYC and someone who just used women for his own pleasure, I didn’t expect it to go that low in niveau.

From „red haired are always more spicy in bed“ (oh come on) to all the reduction to sexual objects, to „oh women I won’t ever understand them and I don’t want to“ and so on (they’re probably even more the soft examples…).

A protagonist who thinks like THIS won’t turn around his whole view of the other gender* within those few pages.

Well, was it a quick and easy read after a heavy but AMAZING book series (talking of Throne of Glass) Yes.
But with way too many eye-rolling moments.
Won’t read the other ones - couldn’t stand more of the misogynistic views.

Das Cover ist mal wieder der Wahnsinn.

Die beiden sind einfach himmlisch, tolle Charakter, man kann sich sehr gut in beide hinein versetzen.

Jennifer die Pressesprecherin von Trevor, die sein Image aufpolieren soll, da er ein ganz schöner Hallodri ist. Scott der Ex Mann von Meghan, der sie nach Strich und Faden nur ausnutzte und si auch hinterging. Er wird später als Bodyguard von Trevor engagiert. Meghan arbeitet als Anwältin und ist sehr unzufrieden mit der Stelle, weil ihr Chef ein A****. Die verliert ihren Job und muss aber den Kredit den Ihr damaliger Mann aufnahm noch abbezahlen, sonst verliert sie ihr Elternhaus. Trevor ist Meghan schon mehr wie einmal über den Weg gelaufen und als er sich entscheiden soll, wer die Stelle seiner Fake Frau annehmen soll, entscheidet er sich für sie. Wie dem auch sei, sie bekommt die Stelle als Fake First Lady angeboten, sie wägt ab und nimmt tatsächlich die Stelle an. Trevor will natürlich alles, nicht nur sie als Frau an seiner Seite, sondern auch S**. Die Story ist gespickt mit jeder Menge Gefühle, Liebe, Vertrauen, Misstrauen, Intrigen. Man spürt aber auch das Knistern der beiden, ob sie es am Ende zueinander schaffen und was alles bis dahin geschieht, solltet ihr selber lesen. Eines ist Sicher eine Jennifer und ein Scott braucht man nicht, den beiden wäre ich gern mal begegnet. Wie die Geschichte endet und was alles passiert und welche Hindernisse beide bewältigen müssen, solltet ihr selber lesen.

Dies ist nicht das erste Buch, welches ich von Rebecca Baker lese, ich habe sie alles von ihr gelesen und alle sind der Oberhammer… Die Bücher sind spannend von der ersten bis zur letzten Seite.

Auch dieses Buch hat seine 5 Sterne mehr wie verdient und ich freue mich noch mehr von ihr lesen zu dürfen….

Als Meghans Ex sie verschuldete, musste sie einen Weg finden, ihr Zuhause zu retten, und diese Gelegenheit bot sich durch eine arrangierte Ehe mit Trevor, der für das Präsidentenamt kandidierte. Was sie nicht wusste, war, dass ihr Ex als sein Leibwächter eingestellt wurde. Er hatte sich nicht verändert und bald zeigten sich seine hinterhältigen Machenschaften. Wird Meghans Kandidatur als Ehefrau eines baldigen Präsidenten Realität und wird die Beziehung zwischen ihr und Trevor zu einer echten Beziehung? Diese Geschichte hat mich an die Seiten gefesselt, als ich mich mit Meghan und Trevor verbunden habe, um zu sehen, wie alles endet. When Meghan's ex left her in debt, she had to find a way to save her home, and that opportunity came by way of an arranged marriage to Trevor who was running for president. What she didn't know was that her ex was hired to be his bodyguard. He hadn't changed and soon his devious ways were presenting themselves. Will Meghan's run as the wife of a soon to be president turn into reality and will she and Trevor's relationship turn into a real one. This story had me glued to the pages as I connected to Meghan and Trevor to see how it all ends.

Love the Fake - Seduced by the Billionaire by Rebecca Baker is book 1 of Unexpected Lovestories. This was a quick fun read. I enjoyed the original storyline and felt it was well written. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!.

This hard to resist book by Rebecca is not only amazing to read but Trevor and Meghan are two characters that make this romance book FANTASTIC. I have read several books by this author and OMG do they just keep getting better and better and this new series is going to be simply amazing. So, grab yourself a cool glass of water, your kindle and let this book be what you're reading now.

A story with a difference. A wannabe presidential has to get his life in order, in order to gain the top job. Meghan had personal debts, an ex that is a drain on her and no real options until the offer of a lifetime comes along!.

This book is really unrealistic. A billionaire playboy decides to run for President with no experience or seemingly no staff other than a PR consultant. She finds him a struggling attorney to pretend to be his fiancée. They sign a contract giving her $10,000 a month to run through his presidential term. No consideration that he could lose. Of course &e wins the Presiency and the girl.

Para pasar el rato con una historia erótica donde los métodos de protección no existen ya que como refiere su autora se trata de una fantasía. Es el segundo libro que leo de esta autora (relacionados entre si) y en ambos las protagonistas son personajes débiles.
