Really good!
This was a wild one lol... I liked Story, I understood slot of her moves even though sometimes she annoyed me withholding important information.. Loved me some Hood! He was so protective of his family and his Story ❤ even though most of the time his family didn't deserve it! Ugh Yanda and Cain both got on my nerves when it came to hood. Kenneth was trash and honestly so was Yanda for going along with that mess!! Cain was straight up trash! The way he was moving was insane!! I didn't feel sorry for butter one bit 🤷🏿♀️ she put herself in that mess. Mann was a man and I loved him for showing hood love! I loved this read, I wanted more of Hood and Story!!!

3.5⭐️ This was a messy one. It had me engaged but I just could NOT stand any of the main characters lol they ALL got on my nerves. And the way ol' girl and her family was portrayed was a little overboard for me....like with how messy their house was, the stinch, all the cats, etc then the description of how she looked natural.

Hood and Story
I love me some Hood and the true love he had for Story, he didn’t let anyone or thing come between them when he finally became her man, Cain was just weak and pathetic. He rather deal with a nobody then have a good woman by his side, hate he got shot up but maybe he gained something from it. Amina, Kenneth and Mecco got exactly what they deserved I just wish Mann could forgive Yanda for her betrayal because having your life threatened by someone ea day and not knowing if he would harm your children rather they are grown or young is something serious. He put 2 hits out on Cain so he deserved to die the way he did and so did Ashley. I’m hoping there’s more coming from this story as in Cain changing his life around and raising Claire with a real woman and Mann and Yanda can get pass her deceitfulness and get it together and Hood and Story get married and have their own family as well With Butter and Tac right there with them.

5 star read!!
This was such a great, funny well written book. I love friends to lovers plot. Hood and Story were too cute together. Hood was insane and I loved every bit of insanity. I hated Caine and Kenneth with a passion. I’m so glad Mecco and his family got their karma. I love starting out the new year with a great book and Natavia hit it out the park!

Boyyy this was a fantastic read! I loved Story & Hood 🫶🏾 He was such a great man for her. Stood 10 toes behind her even when they wasn’t on the best terms. I kept waiting for Cain to get it together 🤦🏾♀️ but he just couldn’t! This was very funny, entertaining, & messy!

You know🤔 this won’t bad at all
You know how you are used to a writers style… and how you are used to them writing one type of genre that they do right and then you get another book that’s a 180 of what they usually write…… This was a pretty good book I really really enjoyed this book and I’m not a big fan of change so this was a good book….. Now I just need for that for now at the end to have a follow up I really like these characters I wanna see how Butter and Ryda came together… I wanna see what happened to Yonda and Mann…. I wanna see what further progress with Hood and Story I wanna know what happened Cain who he end up getting wit… did he stop swing a hoe? …. Like these are answers I need to know 😭

O.M.G!!! This was the worst I have ever read from this author...
I read almost all of Natavia’s book and this one was by far the worst. I couldn’t completely give a 1 star because some parts were good but the overall wasn’t good at all.
Abel “hood” was truly the bomb but he had his priorities messed up. He was still bae
Story, well I think she was the best of them all. Loyal, a little bit childish and naive but she was on point. Independent and all and love her some hood.
Cain was probably the worst and it was still not enough what happened to him. He needed to suffer way more for what he has done from Mecco to Butter to Amina and Christian. He needed to go.
Butter truly was a non factor and should have left a while back and went back to Ryda

Hood's Story
This definitely was a Naptowne drama. Nobody was exempt from the mess going on in these characters lives. Loved Hood of course, he was true to himself whether he was broke or rich. He treated Story with much respect and gave her love even as her best friend. Story didn't take no mess but she was humble and caring. They both held secrets but both remained true to each other. Still don't think I like Cain even with all the stuff happening to him but honestly it kinda felt like his karma. Trish and Yanda were both funny and definitely relatable because we all got that Auntie that gamble or is faking it to keep that government assistance. Butter and Ryda would be interesting with their own book. Kenneth, Amina, Mecco and his baby mama and sister, all got what was coming to them. You can't do stuff to people but expect to get over it when you do. If course well written, witty and funny. Great job Natavia!!!!!

First read from this author and will most definitely read another one.. Loved loved loved Hood!! He couldn’t do nun wrong in my eyes!! Lol... Hood and story loved each other from beginning to end.. Everybody who did wrong got their Karma. Loved trish and the mama together but the mama by herself wheew chilllle just too much.. she was wrong for what she did!! I think butter shouldn’t have went back to Ryder.. she need to stay by herself for a while get herself together.. her and Cain was toxic when they was younger and even when they’re older.. the book was good in the beginning then then slowed down for a lol min then picked back up!! If there is a book 2 I wanna see growth with butter.. hopefully she still has a bond with cain’s daughter hopefully Cain get it together for his daughter like how can you be deadbeat with your daughter mostly butter his mama and trish had the her.. read you most definitely won’t disappointed.. on to the next by this author

What a story.
A page turner. I didn't like Raymond, didn't like how he treated the twins or their mother. Hood and Story had a friendship that endured time. They fell in love and broke up. Hood gave Story everything she needed and took care of her son. He really loved and appreciated them. Cain was the opposite of his twin brother. Cain thought he was a lover. He couldn't break away from his baby mamma who was a whore and was sleeping with the man he thought was his father. A well kept secret was that Mann was the twins biological father. Mecco lived by th we sword and died by the son. Butter fell in love with Cain but they were unable to remain together because of Chain's whorish ways.

LOVED IT
I loved this story from beginning to end. Hood was definitely a protector of those he loved especially with Story. Hood was bae in this book. These characters had their share of ups, downs and pure craziness throughout this book but it was worth the read. Cain was too much in this book, unfortunately it took him getting hurt for him to finally get himself together. He was a bit of a narcissist, gullible and selfish. I had my suspicions about Mann and Big K when it came to Yanda. Amina, Mecca and Big K got exactly what they deserved. Glad Hood and Story got their happy ending.

This book was definitely the best way to start off the year. The characters all had amazing personalities. Everything flowed nothing felt forced or out of place . I laughed my ass off one thing for sure these characters are funny as hell. The connections between story and hood was beautiful to witness.

This story gave me real urban romance mixed with mystery. I was shook from the build up all the way to the end. Hood has become one of my favorite book baes. I’m not sure what’s next but I’m very interested to see what Natavia gives us for the rest of the year.

I loved Hood's and Story relationship even when they tried to keep it as homies. Hood was always there no matter what, and I loved that. Now I'm sitting here wondering what the turnout is with Ryda and Butter. I'm glad that Mecca, Kenneth, and Amina are out of the picture. Cain got on my NERVES this whole book, but I hope he learned his lesson, but I'm not sure he did. I had a feeling Mann was their father this whole time, and I'm happy that he is. Natavia never disappoints this read was awesome.

This book is 💯 🔥 Hood is such a Boss & I was thinking from the start Mann was his father because he’s the Boss of Bosses. Cain was a hater and always thought about himself: he got everything that he got. At the end he was still looking for that hoe Amina. Yanda knew she was wrong from the jump!! Story & Hood we all need a man to love us like that . This book was just not long enough. Natavia did her thang as usual

Ok so I shared my feeling about Cain. So we not going to keep going with his shiity ass... He got everything he was supposed to get and I’m happy Natvaia didn’t kill him off. I just happy Hood and Story got back together and Kenny got what he deserved but I wish Hood mom came clean. I love that Mann took the boys under his wings before he knew they was his kids. This was a great book and I hope you continue with this family... I would love to give you a 10 for this story

Naptowne Drama ⭐⭐⭐
I really enjoyed this book it held my attention from the very beginning to the very end. The character's were well written . The story flowed seamlessly. I'm not giving away any spoilers I would highly recommend reading this book. I found myself literally laughing out loud throughout the book. The twins Cain and Abel couldn't be more different. Story and her best friend Butter love these brothers. It was an absolute pleasure reading this book.

As always you come out with a banger! Hood is a different breed all together and my girl story knew exactly what’s up I’m happy they made it through the storm and I’m happy Butta and Ryda reconnected I really wanted them to be together! It seems there might be a book to hopefully it involves Caine growing the hell up and even Yanda and Mann reconnecting and Maybe even Auntie trish doing something besides wearing that suit 😂😂😭😭😭

Really enjoyed reading this book. It was like classic Author Natavia. A story with real characters, real family & relationship issues/drama. Then I love how she throws in some laughs with the pain the characters go through. Yanda was a mess the twins mother was a confusing, yet caring mess! Couldn't help routing for Hood & Story. Loved their friendship and connection. Loved their love even more. Would definitely read a part 2 of this one.

Sure to give you a few good laughs
There were some very comical moments that kept me engaged. I think there are a few parts that made me wonder what’s next that didn’t get answered like was Story ever pregnant, was Camilla involved and where did she go, why would Yanda help Mann then keep him a secret judging him? Why Mann never got rid of Kenneth if he loved Yanda before he was killed? Like he’s a hit man. I don’t but still pretty entertaining .

This book was a rollercoaster, it was laughable, exhilarating and sad all the same time I couldn't stop reading you are an amazing writer Abel was the man I sorry that his dad Mann didn't find true love that crazy ass Yanda should've been in a body bag too she was just ding too much. This was some wonderful reading indeed
I've read several books by this author and each time they get better and better. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end and I don't want to stop reading it held my attention just that much trying to see what was going to happen next. I was excited about some of it mad about some of it as well as thrilled about some of it. This one was great for anyone looking for a good urban book to read. You will no doubt enjoy it as I have.. Alexa play “ if I was your best friend “
I was stressed at times because these characters put me through it. I’m always a sucker for best-friend turn lover stories. These characters went through some ish, but they always came out on top. I loved their love. It was always genuine even on bad terms. Can’t wait to see what’s next on this authors agenda!

Damn good read
This book pulls you in from the very beginning. Abel is bae for real. I couldn’t put the book down. Natavia has a unique style of writing that makes you feel like you are living the characters.
