I used to be a member of the Wings of Diablo MC Club. That is, until the day I was forced to give up my patch to save my brother. He tried to kill us, he betrayed us, he’s our enemy... but he’s still my twin brother, and that bond means something to me. I broke my vow to my club but I had no choice. I couldn’t let them kill him. We fled to the other side of the world looking for a way out of the shit storm he brought down on our heads. To me, it was all about escape and redemption, but to him everything was a game. When his latest victim turns out to be a woman, I should walk away. Once again I don't have a choice when she calls to me, her very presence wrapping around me and singing to my blood like a fucking goddess I can't escape from. Saving her might be the only chance I have of reclaiming the parts of my soul that my brother destroyed. Even if it means I have to go home and face the brothers I chose to leave behind.

Duo

They fucking kidnapped me because of who my father is in the Juric crime family. I’ve been kidnapped before so this isn’t anything new, not really. What I’m not used to is the insane extent his brother will go to get what he wants. I know I shouldn’t trust Storm. I shouldn’t crave his touch or the promise in his eyes as much as I do, but he may be the only one who can get me back to safety. The only one who can save me from his brother. Every mile back to the Wings of Diablo clubhouse I become more attached to this savage brute of a man and more convinced that it’s not just me who needs to be saved.

Rae is a daydreamer, nurse, bookworm, nature enthusiast, wife, momma, animal activist and an optimist. She has lived her entire life in NYC and loves to travel with her family. She believes that sweets should have a larger piece of the nutritional pyramid and that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of the best TV shows ever invented. When she is not working as a nurse in her community, she can either be found reading, writing, or taking a walk while listening to music. She has been writing books in her mind for as long as she can remember but decided that maybe there were others out in the world that would find joy in the words she would put down on the page.

Be prepared to fall over the edge! This series is fantastic with its delivery, phenomenal with its characters, Resounding with its story! Miss Lake knows what we want and she delivers it with a bang that will knock your socks right off your feet. It is brutal and beautiful on its own but powerfully beastly with words that will encapsulate you and make you fall in love with this story, this world, these characters! So take flight with this series, this book. Be prepared to soar with the Wings of Diablo MC! It will be a flight you will want to take!

I didn’t expected much IDK why but I am happy now that I went against my concerns, read it and was happy with all - the end of Vale, the valley of tears and the rebirth of the Wings of Diablo, the really satisfying HEA of Duo and Storm and the outlook of Keeley and Wire. It’s all right and well deserved! Great, well done!

He left one family for his blood family. He also instantly regretted it. He lost his patch and his self worth at the same time. When his brother does yet another dumb thing. It’s up to Storm to try to protect the women his brother kidnapped.

To keep her safe he’ll swallow his pride and self worth, to go to the Wings of Diablo for protection. It’s not easy, but eventually he earns so of their trust and respect back. They fight his brother his family and anyone else who wants to keep them apart. It doesn’t work because their feelings were forged in the flames of hell.

My heart breaks from storm her had to choose his club brothers or his twin. Poor Storm his love for Vale is immeasurable, he really thinks he can save him and bring everyone back together but some people are beyond saving. Rae made me cry....again

Storm: A Wings of Diablo Novel by Rae B. Lake

This story had it all, drama, violence, murder and mayhem as Storm who is still on the run with his brother Vale will be put into a deadly situation by a brother he is trying to save who has no choice at redemption. Vale is on drugs keeping things from his brother as well as putting a target on Storm. When Storm first meets this fiery sexy bartender named Duo at first he wants her but puts his plan to interact with her on hold as he needs to figure out what his brother is up to as Vale is keeping things from him. When Vale abducts the daughter of the head of the Juric crime family things will start to unravel when Storm realizes she is Duo. Now Storm tries to help her as his brother is holding her for ransom in order for her father to help them escape, but Vale has other plans for Duo. Abused and tortured, Duo informs Storm that his brother is not only using him but is mentally unstable. She tells him that her father may let them think he will be helping them but in reality he will kill them both. Storm is beginning to believe that Storm may be right and sees that his brother is using him. Now Storm knows he needs to reach out to the WOD for help as he can no longer control his brother as the plans he had to return his brother to the club will never happen. When he attacks his brother from trying to rape Duo, Storm is at an impasse as he has to make the one call to ensure that he and Storm will be able to escape and come back to the WOD.

When he reaches out to Mack and explains the reason why he had no choice but to turn his back on the club as he could not be the one to kill his brother. At first they are angry especially Clean and Ink, but offer to help him as they know he has Juric's daughter but his return to the club will not be an easy one. On the run from Vale, Storm and Duo finally give into the sexual tension between them, one that is hard and fast as the chemistry between them is explosive as Storm will never give Duo up as she will be his as long as he survives. As they are being pursued by the enemy, they finally make it to the WOD clubhouse but Storm's welcome is not a friendly one. His brothers along with Ink and Clean tell him he will have to be punished for his betrayal if they agree to allow him to stay but Duo stands her ground and lashes out at them telling them that Storm helped her as Vale acted alone and that his actions by helping his twin brother was due to blood and love. Storm can tell his club and their women are still suffering from the recent attack on the WOD and that they are not the same and wants to help them if he can. Storm is told by Clean that he will have to make a choice when the time comes as Vale and his men are on their way. Storm's decision to fight along side his brothers will have him facing the toughest decision to save his President or be the one to end his brother when the clubhouse is attacked as we witness the end of this conflict that is heartbreaking for Storm as well as Vale words to his brother.

Storm may have to give Duo up when her father returns and wants to take her home, but Duo will not go so easily as she confronts her father and refuses to leave the man she loves. Now Storm will do all he can as he is willing to go up against Juric and fight for the woman he loves. Will Duo have the final say when she reveals something to her father that may alter his decision? You will be on edge from beginning to end with this drama filled emotional love story about love, loyalty and blood with all of the choices Storm made to leave his club for his brother. Will he finally get the happiness he deserves from his club and have the woman he loves stand by his side? Rae, thank you for continuing this gritty, raw story about Storm and Vale but especially Storm's redemption, you have done an outstanding job telling this story about these larger than life alpha badass bikers of the WOD MC. Can't wait for the next adventure! This is a must read!

First let me ask you a question. Do you remember Storm and Vale, the twins? Yeah I do and remember that they ran from the club. Why? Well Vale did something that was against the club and Storm is the good brother and could not choose between his blood brother or the brothers. So they have been on the run and in hiding. Vale is not himself and is getting more chaotic. He is not all there and making choices that makes Storms stomach turn. Storm seems to be realize that they are getting deeper into trouble. Especially when Vale does not talk to Storm about his plans. So lets meet Duo. She is the daughter of the Juric family and even though her father doesn't dote on her he will come for her. Only Storm finds out something his brother did. He decides to help Duo escape and make it back to the Wings. Knowing what will happen if he shows up on their doorstep. Only he did not expect to see it almost in shambles. Finding out what they have been through and the guilt that racks through him is heartbreaking. He wants to be back in the family and will take whatever punishment is given. Only Duo is not thrilled about it. Even though she knows that he had no clue what Vale was up to in the beginning he still held her captive before escaping with her. Can she save him and heal him? She seems to have been able to heal some of the club members. What will he do when her father shows up? Will there be a happy ending? This is full of action and heart break!! I cried at the end. Dang it I need more of this series.

Storm: A Wings of Diablo MC Novel was a surprise. It is not like other MC stories in that the storyline has a different level of MC action and picks up on the other books in the series. It does have action, suspense, intense twists, thrills, and more than a few revelations. If you read the previous books, you will get it right up front. However, you do not need to read the other books to get into this one, but it helps the background. I love that the characters of the twins are so well developed. You can love Storm and understand that Vale is just not the guy and needs to be out of the picture completely. I continue to love the female characters. In Duo, we have a biracial, super-intelligent, and super badass protagonist, which is prominent in this story; it is awesome! All of the women choose not to be victims of incidents past and to forge ahead with their futures, helping their menfolk see that along the way. This is a great installment in the Diablo MC series. Even though it does have its very predictable moments, they do not take away from the story. I cannot wait to read the next story!

Wow…Storm is an intense and a testament of where the Wings Of Diablo MC is trying to clean up their messes. Storm showed how much strength of character he had with his actions. Storm (book) reinforces the ideal of an MC of brotherhood, family, loyalty, and respect. I loved reading Storm and loved how one person can bring about change and doing it in a small way and the ripples got bigger and bigger. I hope that Wire can find and convince Keely that he and the club have all changed and are turning things around. I won’t say any more about what happens as I don’t want to spoil anything for future readers. Rae B. Lake, author, did a fantastic job with creating strong characters with a strong moral compass (or at least by the code of the WOD MC). Storm (book) has all of the characteristics that I love in MC romances and has so much heat and emotions. Rae always does a terrific job of eliciting emotions from readers and Storm (book) is no exception. As you are probably aware of by now but I totally, highly, recommend Storm and the WOD MC Series. Hope you enjoy reading Storm as much as I did.

Heartbreaking, Frustrating & Struggling to overcome

Storm’s book is a hard read at times because he had to choose between his twin brother Vale and the Wings who are both family and mean the world to him but he couldn’t let them kill his brother. Storm didn’t realize how lost his brother was until they are on the run and he kidnaps Duo Juric and her father (Croatian Mob) is dead set on getting her back and killing Storm and Vale! Storm will not let Vale hurt anyone else and he runs with Duo back to the Wings because he hopes they are willing to help her even though his date was sealed when he went against the patch! Duo is a welcoming presence in the clubhouse and she really connects with the women who are still broken after all the horrific actions taken against them. She is helping them grow stronger and see what they can do to find their way back from the darkness. However, when her father arrives he is not going to let her stay. Storm has to prove himself worthy of her love. If he can convince her father then they will get the chance to be together! Happy Reading!!

God How I wanted to dislike Storm as much as I do Vale. How do you have anything but sadness for a male that just wants to do the right thing with every choice that he has made. He betrayed his patch family for that of his blood, literally his other half. Storm was trying to save the brother he thought still had good in him when he ran with him from the Wings right before he was executed for his crimes. Vale is just a soul lost he has nothing redeemable left in him but will Storm believe this before it cost him everything. Duo was the complication Storm wasn’t expecting, but now that she has appeared and has become the pawn in Vale’s game to get “freedom and protection” for the two of them, his need to save her is a flame that grows fast and intense. Then it becomes the fight for them to survive and stay together at all cost. Great read …. Rae did it again can’t wait for what is next!!

This story with Storm went above and beyond what I was expecting to happen. The author had me holding my breath during each chapter when it came to what was going to be in store for Storm, Duo and the Wings family. There was a great amount of drama and action that kept the story alive. Storm was put in a hard place where he had to choose between his blood or his club brothers. After weighing all the good and evil in his life since leaving the club, Storm saves a spunky Duo from his brother Vale and goes back to his club for help. As a club brother who broke his vow we get to see the transition of how Storm is now with the Wings and how they all find a balance to mending relationships and dealing with pain.

Prepare yourself before you read this book! It's not quite like Ink's story, but still an emotional roller coaster for Storm, Duo, WOD members, and even Vale. We know a lot more about Vale now than we did in Ink's story. However, it's a lot worse than you can imagine. Storm is torn between protecting his twin brother (Vale) and wanting to make amends with his brothers in WOD after he abandoned them. Duo comes into Storm's life when he needed her. Although, the circumstances are less than stellar. We have Vale to thank for that. This story has twists and turns that I didn't imagine. Plus, if you're waiting to hear about Keely and Wire...you need to read this book. There is another connection made that I think will be important in the future.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Storm has a brother that is evil, crazy and sick. He has been trying to right wrongs for a long time. He ended up choosing those blood ties over the family that had his back. He has truly regretted leaving the Wings of Diablo MC ever since. He has to intervene when his brother takes Duo so he asks for help from the family he walked away from. Duo has a connection with Storm that she did not expect. They develop feelings for each other while trying to deal with Vale. Through the struggles Storm finds a woman that he will love always and returns to the brothers that were more than blood could ever be. Their story is full of danger, drama, betrayal, family and love. I have enjoyed this series

This book is fantastic! I was immediately drawn in. I had been waiting for this book as I wanted to know what happened to Vale and Storm. Storm was in a lose- lose situation. Blood vs chosen. His story is packed with intense emotions, danger, desire, faith, pride, betrayal, twists and more. What would you do to keep your family safe? Will he get his family back? Can he put his demons to bed and go for love? Can a man like him have a HEA? Can Duo keep her lover safe? Can she put some light in his life? How will they help his chosen family begin to heal after a devastating attack? The only way to find out is to read this book. It is worth every second you spend reading it. A must have book and series!

Storm has just about done me in! That d*m^ Vale, I could choke him to pieces myself. This book has wound me up tighter than a rubber band. Storm get himself in a heckuva mess trying to keep that dumb as heck Vale straight. But in the midst of it all he finds Duo and believe me that spunky woman can  get him all straightened out. I went from one extreme to the other reading Storm, and AGAIN, I'm left furious with Wire of course. The Wings were not easy on Storm when he came back, but just as family should be they eventually worked it out. Another great addition to this series and I'm so excited to see what's next for this bunch.

This book will have you hooked from start to end. Storm is on the run with his twin. He thought he could help his brother Vale but things aren't going as well as he hoped. Duo is a member of the Juric crime family, through he father. Vale kidnapped Duo with the plan of living a high life,things dont go as he planned though do he comes up with another plan that has Storm taking Duo and heading towards the brothers he had betrayed. Little does he expect what he learns once there as things with the wings are not as he left them,and he soon has to make a choice that tears his heart out completely.

I gave this a 4 star rating because I had a problem with a couple of things in here. I have read all the other books in this series and have found a common and disturbing factor in them. They women in this series are not the strong badass women that the author first wants you to believe they are. With his particular story I can’t understand how Duo can go from hating Storm and his brother to loving Storm. They are identical twins, so I find it REALLY hard that she would, could change her feelings that fast. She was more upset when Storm was being whipped than when Vale attacked her. I am done with this series and women leads that can not stand on there own and be as bada$$ as their men.

Storm and Duo are fantastic together. These two met when Storm and his twin brother Vale came into the bar that Duo worked at. You could tell the chemistry right away they have together but then Vale kidnaps Duo and Storm who's been helping his brother, decides to get Duo to safety and they head to the Wings Of Diablo clubhouse and safety. Can things work out for them even though Storm looks identical to Vale and she definitely doesn't like Vale, or will his looks destroy what she feels for him? Pick up a copy of Storm today to find out the answer to that question. Rae B. Lake is a great author and I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.

As twins Vail and Storm are inseparable. So when Vail goes off the rails he takes his brother with him. Storm turns his back on his MC family for his blood. But that decision comes back to haunt him. With Vail running crazy, killing people and kidnapping Duo, Storm realizes that his brother is lost. He has to decide on betraying his brother to save Duo from Vail’s wrath. His club wants both brothers heads, will Storm be able to get Duo to safety before he get killed? Will Duo be able to save Storm from her Croatian Mob Father? You will have to read this book and see!

When Storm chooses his twin brother over ihs MC, he signed his own death warrant. His brother is crazy and he's made a lot of big mistakes he's a bad man, but he's his twin. Then he goes too far and kidnaps a woman and what he has planned for her is not something Storm can live with, brother or not. Something about this woman stirs him and she feels the same. Now they're on the run trying to get her back to her mob family, even if it means Storm heads right back to his MC. You know what happens when you leave your MC the way he did? You die. This is a steamy, sexy read.

I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see what going to happen next. This book is action packed. Storm get himself into yet another mess trying to keep his dumb ass twin Vale straight. He meets Duo and quickly realizes he needs to help her and the head for his home. His punishment broke me and when other brothers started to step up omg...... them when he had to do the unthinkable to save a brother holy crap that alone in my book should get him his standing in the club back. Storm is great addition to this series and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Storm had betrayed his MC brothers once leaving him on the ru with his Twin brother Vale, who was set in his twisted way, when Vale kidnapped Duo a member of the Juric Family, Storm faces an even bigger challenge or returning to the Wings of Diablo MC for help, but things arent the same as when he left can the MC overcome the betrayal to help a brother out? This is well written full of suspense twists, desires, hurt, love, loss betrayal and more!

Poor Storm has really mucked things up trying to help his brother. Too bad his brother really is a bad guy. It is so sad to see that dawning on Storm, but Duo is worth it to him. The fight to make things right, finding out everything that has happened at home, and running for his life are just part of what he has to deal with. Really tough decisions have to be made. Duo is a rock star when it comes to rolling with the punches. She is just awesome. Loved this story.

This was a great story. This is the first book I've read from this author and it kept me glued to my kindle until it was done. I want to go back and read the rest of the series. Duo and Storm are a super couple. She's showing Storm that his brother is totally out of control and dangerous. This story has action, drama, danger, violence, murder, drugs, and finally redemption. Storm gives up his patch for his brother. His brother Vale betrayed the club so he left with him to try to save him. The problem is that Vale has become chaotic and doing things that are out of his normal character. He kidnaps a girl who is the daughter of a cartel me.ner hoping this will get him back in good graces. Storm realizes he cannot save his brother and he can only save Duo and himself. What happens? Read to find out. Great story with great characters.

Rae has another winner on her hands with Storm! This story drew me in from page one. Vale is out of control and thanks to his behavior, Storm is on the run because of him. When Vale kidnaps Duo the bartender, the action kicks up. Storm realizes that in order to save himself and Duo, he must part ways with his brother! This is nonstop action that will have you on an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish.

Storm and Duo. Storm tries so hard to do right by his blood brother by will he learn to late what his brother Vale is really like. Storm hits the bowels of hell and must climb his way out and with Duo will he be able to save her or not. Ms. Lake writing is so usual than any one else writing MCs that she is a must read for any MC fan. The way she can pull you into their world with words you want to cheer, kill, cry and wonder what's next.

Wow

Boy, that Vale was a piece of work. How could he be so different than Storm. I loved this book and the continuing story of Wings of Diablo. I hope they never end. I hope Wire is successful but with this author you never know. She will throw you a curveball even with the main characters. Prez story was just so painful for me. I am still sad about that. You have to read this series because you won’t be able to put it down

Storm has a twin but these two are one is good and one is really evil. Oh boy so he feels he has to cover for him and leave his first love that become his family. He did not want him killed even though the brother would not have same mind set. Duo becomes a target of his along with kidnapping her. Storm has to be the one to save with us seeing who will become his priority. Keeps us on our toes. He goes back to another love too but what do they do? So many answers we need to find the fun in reading.
