This is the most appropriate book for those people, especially teens and young adults, who wants to financially educate themselves. Though I'll just sneak in that this is mainly useful when you live in Australia because it talks about financial concepts in an Australian setting. I don't have an official financial education nor my parents really trained me in that area of life, so I was seeking for a book that is easy to understand and will give me a headstart on my financial journey. Without this book, I wouldn't have known to file my tax return, seriously. After reading it on this book, I checked on a website and apparently I was months late so afterwards I took care of it. I don't have someone to look up to when it comes to financial literacy here in Australia so this book served as my "parent". Really recommend it to new students of financial education. It's also a good thing they added a list of books at the end to read that are also about financial education.

Overall, the book covers some good fundamentals and has examples to explain most of the concepts. It is engaging, easy to read, and a quick guide to teach someone the basics of financial literacy. However, the financial topics covered are pretty surface-deep (especially when discussing investing) and could benefit from being a bit more specific and in-depth. But I do understand that this book is meant to be an introduction for younger people into becoming financially literate. Even if you are older, it's still worth reading over once, because you'll find that you might pick up one or two things that you didn't know before.

Though this is directed at younger people, like those coming out of high school and what not, I actually found it incredibly informative.
I found it went into so much detail about each chapter especially about shares and insurances.

This book will definitely be my financial bible. It talks about basically everything you need to survive financially. Breaking down types of insurance’s to property and other investments, how to run a business and more. Honestly had no prior knowledge about financial literacy but thanks to this book it provided the foundation I needed to be a financially literal individual. Perfect for beginners.
