This isn't a standalone. In order to understand the players and the plot, I strongly suggest you read Like a Boss first. This book picks up virtually where the last one left off and Penny's got some 'splaining to do. Theo's heart has been crushed and I couldn't help but sympathize with him regarding the circumstance Penny has placed him in. And while I didn't like Penny (AT ALL) because she insisted on keeping secrets from Theo and playing her games, rest assured that there is a happy ending and I was happy that despite all of the angst to be had, Theo got his heart's desire.

Love A Boss is the the sequel to Like A Boss and the second book from this author. Second Book?! Yep!... You read that correctly! The way Logan writes it's hard to believe that this is only his second published book.

Logan's ability to evoke all kinds of emotions is nothing short of awe inspiring! His sex scenes are some of the most intense, lustful and arousing scenes I have ever read. So far, in each of his books there is that "one scene" that just takes your breath aways do leaves you wanting more Theo. For all the ladies that have read Like A Boss, you know which one I mean! Love A Boss is no different...and you'll know it when you stumble upon it!
Theo... Seriously?! I thought I loved his dirty mouth in the previous book, but I LOVE his dirty mouth even more in this one. You will fall further in love with Theo, I promise you will! He's so thoughtful and more passionate, it that were even possible?!

Love A Boss definitely has everything I'm looking for in a great story. Witty banter, intense emotions, a great suspenseful story line and not to mention a great sex scene or two! You will want to get your hands on this and clear your schedule. It won't take long to devour this book at all, I had it done in one sitting!

I'm looking forward to reading more of Logan's work! He's quickly becoming one of my favs and is one of the authors I drop everything I'm doing to read his newest master piece.

Have you been dying to know what happened with Theo & Penny like I have? The way we were left with Love A Boss I was gasping and couldn't wait to find out, Logan rocked it with the conclusion of their story. Once again my attention was captured from the very start and we're right there with Penny and what happened at the restaurant. My heart absolutely breaks for Theo and her but what they go through, damn it's a roller coaster ride at times for sure. We are given little pieces at a time to the puzzle but in a good way, it wasn't dragged out. It had me thinking and intrigued at the same time as to what it could be, what was it Penny wasn't sharing. I couldn't put the book down had to keep going, I just had to know what was happening next where were they heading. I loved it, just loved their story from beginning to end.

Theo and Penny.....

Since book one, Like A Boss ended in a cliffhanger, I quickly devoured this one. I was dying to know what happened to cause that gut-clenching ending.

Theo and Penny's story picked up where it left us on the cliff. I admit, I hated Penny at that moment. Little by little we get the pieces to the puzzle as their relationship slowly got put back together. Theo was in a bad place for a while and not once did I ever blame him for his behavior. My heart hurt for him.

Just like the previous book, this one had all the 'feels' as well. A perfect emotional roller coaster.

We do know from the first book that Penny's father wanted to control her (for reasons we will soon find out). He was a greedy, selfish, inconsiderate piece of "you-know-what" that wanted to get his hands on Lopa, Theo's bar. Penny's father manipulated and blackmailed until he got his desired results. Now the dynamic between Theo and Penny has changed in more ways than one. Until we got all the pieces of the puzzle, I tried not to hate Penny, keeping an open mind. Luckily the author did not make us wait very long.

The suspense in this book was strong. There was some violence and twists that kept me guessing and engrossed. There was quite a bit going on giving us more depth to the characters and complexity to the unfolding drama. That said, the chemistry between Theo and Penny was stronger than ever since their hearts got involved. The smoldering intimacy between them was off-the-charts-sexy and
passionate. 'Intense' is another word I would use to describe their relationship.

I was so damn happy with the conclusion! And Penny was great with what she did. I was so proud of her! If I had one complaint it would be that I think Dex deserved another'date' with karma. He got off too easy in my opinion.

The epilogue was fantastic! Theo and Penny got their HEA and more. I am very much looking forward to reading more by this author.

Love A Boss by Logan Chance is the conclusion story of Theo and Penny. Like A Boss needs to be read first in order to understand the story. This is the second book from this author and his writing improves immensely with each story he writes. He created Theo, the sexy ass dirty talker who will melt your panties right off, and Penny, who's sassy, feisty, and beautiful. I'm looking forward to reading more from Logan.

Love A Boss picks up right where it left off in Like A Boss, with a whopper of a cliffhanger. As we found out Penny is now the new boss of Lopa and engaged to Dex (asshole), Theo's brother. To say I was a bit shocked at this is an understatement. He's completely all wrong the only true man for her is Theo, but she has her reasons as to why she is doing this. Once Theo finds out he's devastated and makes it his mission to find out why Penny is doing this and vows to do whatever it takes to win his girl back. Has Penny's actions caused her to loose Theo completely? Is it to late for them or will love prevail? You'll have to read this one to find out what becomes of Theo and Penny.

Love A Boss is filled with humor, angst, and sex. Some of the sex scenes were off the charts HOT!
I fell more in love with Theo and Penny the both of them grew so much in this book. The epilogue what can I say it was pure perfection for them.

DIRTY KNEES REVIEWS: Love A Boss by Logan Chance 5 Knees!
Poor heartbroken Theo has to figure out a way to work with his new boss Penny. He doesn't want to be there more than he absolutely has to so he wants a new bartender hired immediately. And then to pour salt on his wounds he has to endure seeing his brother Dex with her.
Penny thinks she knows what she's doing but things don't always go as planned.
This.Was.Amazing! Wasn't sure he could top Like A Boss but he sure as hell did! Penny's cuteness endeared me more to her and those damn lists Theo writes...I love that about him!
Logan delivers another light read filled with humour, sass, and hot as hell sex scenes I wish I could transform into Penny during those moments! If you thought the bar scene was hot in Like A Boss you haven't seen nothing yet!
I thought the end was a little rushed but he made up for that in spade's with the Epilogue. Very nice touch...very Theo!!!
Fantastic follow up to what was a surprisingly awesome debut book.

Turns out Penny was trying to protect Theo out of love even if she didn't want to admit it yet. There were a lot of deceit, lies, secrets, passion, love, hate and drama. The answers are told though.

Here I am once again, getting ready to write another review and for some reason I’m having a hard time writing it. Why is that I wonder? Maybe it’s because I think so highly of this author and his writing that I feel the need to write down something amazing. If only I could use gifs, videos and photos to express all these feelings I have, it really would be so much easier for me. Nope, instead I will try to write it all down but because I know I am not an amazing writer and if you knew me then you would understand why I am going to call this Jessica’s rambling random thoughts of Love A Boss…Enjoy! 

1st - When I first started this book I thought how could Penny break Theo’s heart so easily, it was disheartening that’s for sure. Logan’s writing captures exactly the type of feelings you would get if it was you having your heart broken. I felt so much emotion in just those few pages that it made me realize how hard it was going to be for me to put this book down.

2nd  The car scene...Steamy, hot, I want to have my own car scene now and a must read. The beach scene..LOL, LMAO, LMFAO yes its funny and wait until the next chapter because it doesn't just stop there.

3rd - I loved this book so much! So many emotions all wrapped up in this one book, such as sexual tension, happiness, excitement, ecstasy, laughter ohhhhh I can just go on and on. To me it was everything that love is supposed to feel like, so prepare yourself for an intense ride. 

 4th - I highly recommend this book at which point you will now need to go and BUY IT, READ IT, & LOVE IT! Oh and remember, this is the second book so make sure to check out Like A Boss as well. You won’t want to miss out on the beginnings of Theo and Penny’s love story.  

 5th - And so this concludes my rambling random thoughts of Love A Boss, but before I go please keep an eye out for more amazing books by Logan Chance. I truly believe he is an amazing writer, and he going to give us so much more to read in the future. This is only the beginning and before you know it, the name Logan Chance is going to be everywhere!

Wow! What an ending to a really sexy duet. You have to read Like a Boss first as it ends in a cliff-hanger. Love a Boss is the conclusion to this series. At the end of Like a Boss, we found out that Penny is Theo’s new boss and that Penny’s father and her boyfriend Dex (Theo’s brother) just acquired the club. This was a big surprise. Theo did not know that his brother Dex is Penny’s boyfriend. I know… this sounds confusing but there is technically no bed-hopping . Penny’s father came up with the arrangement and forces Penny to marry Dex or else there will be consequences with Theo. I can’t really reveal what the deal is about because it is the main plot of the story so you will find out at the end of the book.

Love a Boss continues with Penny and Theo’s turbulent relationship. Penny does not want to marry Dex but she is forced to play the game to protect Theo. I thought the character Penny was sweet and caring. Theo is all alpha, sexy and protective. I kind of adore him. My only hiccup is I just did not understand the two reasons why Penny stays engaged to Dex and kept the secret from Theo. Penny’s father did not seem that powerful of a man to me. Other than that, I enjoyed the sweet romance. There are also plenty of sizzling, heated scenes which were borderline erotic for me . The chemistry between Penny and Theo is definitely off the chart HOT! I enjoyed the dual POV which is always my favorite to understand both characters. Over all, this was a heartwarming love story with a bit humor, angst, a few twists in the plot, a lot of sexy time, and HEA. I think you will swoon over Theo. Enjoy!

This is book 2 in Theo and Penny's story, which picks up where Like A Boss left off.

The tables have turned on Theo and he's trying to figure how how to navigate in these new waters. He spends as little time at Lopa so he can be around Penny as little as possible. He still can't believe the series of events that have taken place, and he has no idea who he can trust.

Penny is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Her dream of being manager has finally come true, but at a very high price. She misses Theo and does everything she can to be around him.

This is such a great conclusion to their story. There's lots of little twists and one big moment of "oh my gawd", and of course plenty of steam. I love the resolve that Theo shows after a visit from his brother and best friend, and the spine that Penny grows. The things she discovers leaves you cheering for her.

It's hard to believe that Logan hasn't been publishing books for years, with the way he writes. I have no doubt that he's going to be around for a very long time, and I can't wait to see what he brings us next.

I loved this book. Theo and Penny are back and man if things just don't seem to be getting worse for this couple! Now don't get me wrong, Theo isn't your typical alpha male and Penny isn't some weak damsel in distress, although she is in a distressful situation. What I loved is when Penny found her strength again, just when she needed it most! I absolutely loved it!!! I was almost cheering out loud for her. I was a little disappointed that Theo couldn't come up with a plan for her situation, but then when Penny's plan kicked in...it was priceless. Brilliant! I loved that she was the hero. I'm not taking anything away from Theo's character because I loved him. I mean, what woman wouldn't.

Overall this was a well written book, second of the series and the main characters were well developed and so loveable. I recommend this book (and the first of the series as well) highly.

This is the conclusion to Like A Boss where we were left on an almighty cliffhanger. I was so intrigued to discover where the story would take me after being drawn to the characters, Penny and Theo. Penny is now the boss of Lopa and engaged to Theo’s brother, Dex, who happens to not be a nice guy at all. I was surprised she agreed to marry him after the connection she’d shared with Theo. Nevertheless, I had to tell myself there was more to it than meets the eye. I felt Theo’s devastation. I really thought he had something special with Penny and being linked with his half-brother was a double blow for me.

The tables have turned in this offering. Theo was the sole owner and Penny the employee. This is a bitter pill for him to swallow having signed away part of the business. He reluctantly works in the bar, but with his feeling towards Penny, a mix of love and anger finds it increasingly difficult to see her every day. There is a very funny scene where Theo and Penny interview a new bartender and their inner thoughts had me smiling as I read on. Penny is in in her own torment, too. Her feelings for Theo are strong, and I could clearly see she was holding something back from him. She has her reasons for making sacrifices though.

Love a Boss is a mix of humour, angst and some very steamy scenes. Theo is a filthy mouthed hot alpha and if you loved him in Like A Boss, you’ll love him even more in Love A Boss. In this follow-up, I saw a very sensitive side to him. By now I knew how Theo loves making lists of things, and by him continuing to do so got a lot of laughs out of me. However, his pain over the circumstances with Penny is so palpable that I couldn’t help but sympathise with this lovable character. Penny is as always full of sass, gutsy and as usual, the scenes between the main protagonists are entertaining. Saying that, I really felt for her. There was something behind her decisions causing a lot of anxiety, but she hid it well. I was desperate to find out exactly what was making her behave in the way she was since she had a deep affection for Theo.

Yet again I became totally invested in the protagonists’ story and was willing for everything to be made right in the end. I was constantly thinking about Penny telling Theo what exactly was going on and for them to reveal how they truly felt about each other. Told from a dual point of view is always a favourite of mine. By using this technique, the author gave me an insight into both characters’ feelings.

Logan has a natural writing flair for light and sexy reads, and touches of angst in just the right places made for an unputdownable book. I loved the epilogue and certainly recommend one-clicking if you like this kind of genre. When an author captivates me from word go and has me anticipating what’s coming next, five stars are more than worthy. I still can’t stop thinking about how much I liked the fun-loving characters, Penny and Theo!

Penny is as funny, sassy & kind as she was in the first book but, for me, the real highlight is the character growth we see in Theo. While I fell in lust with him in Like A Boss, I fell in love with him during this book as he demonstrated that he does sweet, just as well as he does dirty.

This story has everything I look for in a book and totally exceeded my expectations. There was humour, heart and heat all delivered in a well paced and thoughful manner. Considering this is only the authors second book it bodes well for some amazing future releases!

Love a Boss is the sequel to Like a Boss. It takes weeks after the incident that happens in that nail-biting cliff hanger in Like a Boss.

In this sequel, Theo and Penny find a way to fight to be together.
Questions are answered and secrets get revealed.

This book to me was so unique and something like I haven't read before. It was refreshing.
The way that Logan Chance was a able to throw you plot twists amazed me. He is also able to combine sexy, smutty, funny, and keep-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat. His characters were unique. I don't think I've read about a dirty-talking, funny, hot-geek before. And that man! Theo!! Wish there were men like him. I also love Penelope. She was fierce, funny as well, and strong. I loved their chemistry.

I especially found it funny in one of the scenes where the author talks about one of his own book. If you read it you will know what I'm talking about. I was cracking up. My favorite scene.

I absolutely loved this book. And the author will definitely be on my radar. You should too.

So worth the wait!

Since I read the very last sentence "This is the new boss...Penelope" in Like A Boss, I have waited very patiently to read Love A Boss. Let me tell you the wait was worth it. Theo and Penelope are torn apart from each other by 2 vicious greedy men; her father and Dex ( Theo's brother and her ex ).

Theo and Penelope have the type of love you only find once in a lifetime. Their love is strong and withstands everything that is being thrown their way. Yes their relationship started out rocky but true love always wins.

Logan Chance you are a very talented author and your books captivate me. I cannot wait to read what you have in store for your readers next!

The adventure picks up with a very pissed off Theo...wth just happened? Penny is beside herself because she can't tell Theo the truth. Seeing one another is too hard. Can she ever tell him the truth? Will he ever forgive her? Can she keep fending Dex off? Can she convince her father to change his mind? Back and forth they go...but what happens when the truth comes out? Are they done, the love they have for one another completely lost? Nice rapid moving storyline. Hard not to fall in love with Theo and Penny. Nice conclusion to the story. Enjoyed it.

So worth the wait!

Shocked and pissed! That's what I was at the end of Like a Boss. I've been waiting months to find out why Penny did what she did. Finally we got some answers, although it wasn't right away. Penny and Theo are awesome as ever, Dex and Penny's Dad are straight up dicks, and I'm dying to know what really happened with the roommate and her date with the MMA guy. There were some twists I didn't see coming in this one and I loved every second of it. That ending though, the BEST! Absolutely perfect for Theo, I could totally see him doing that.

What a mind f**k.

At the end of the last book I was prepared to kill Penny and was already planning on castrating Dex. To be totally honest through most of this book I was totally hating Penny. All I could think about was poor Theo having everything basically ripped from him.

He was the good guy and he couldn't fully trust not one single person in his life, except Lucy. Everyone else had proven this. Although Penny didn't straight out lie she didn't tell him EVERYTHING and so much could of been avoided.

I thought I knew everything but I gotta say I was thrown for a loop with the ending. I never in my wildest dreams saw what was coming. What a great introduction to a new author that will now be on my have to read list.

OH THEO...YOU WARM MY HEART....BUT MELT MY PANTIES......

Logan Chance you have definitely outdone yourself with Book 2......MAGNIFICENT!!!! After being left with a cliffhanger at the end of the first book, all I wanted was answers. Now have them....and boy they were worth the wait.

Theo is just....well he's Theo....only his mouth is a whole lot dirtier in this one. Melting panties are just one of the many side effects of reading Logan's books. And to think this is only his second one...surely not!!!! And Penny...well she's just as sassy and fiesty as ever. These two are a match made in heaven....if only they can get together. The standout scene for me in this book was the restaurant ... Theo displayed all the strength of love that he needed, while watching the love of his life be demeaned by Dex. But appearances aren't always what they seem....that scene was the hottest I have read in a book for a long time!!!!

Penny made a decison between two men, but it was for a reason. But that reason divulged straight away - only bits and pieces are given, so it kept me intrigued. I needed to know Penny's secret and why she wouldn't share it with Theo straight away. When it is revealed...Holy moly!!! But then there's more!!! A twist so big that I never saw it coming!!!

Tis sequel was brilliant. The flames between Theo and Penny still burn brightly....it how those flames are doused that will have you sighing. The heat, passion and chemistry between these two is off the charts. Not only does Theo's dirty mouth gets even dirtier, but Penny joins in, and she's just as dirty. The sexual tension between these two is high....and when acted upon.....look out!!!

Once again Logan, MAGNIFICENT!!! You kept me addicted and hooked from the beginning to the end of Theo and Penny's story. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

This is the conclusion to the Theo and Penny's story. It will keep have you wanting to throw your Kindle sm=sometimes but if you stick it out you will love it.
When this book picks up Theo has sold the bar and finds out that Penny is the new owner and is engaged to his half brother Dex the man who stole the mother to Lucy away from him. He is in shock when he hears the news and pissed at Penny for lying to him about being broke up with him. Little does he know she doesn't want to be with Dex she wants to be with Theo but can't tell him the truth about why she took her father's deal.
Theo continues to fight his feeling for Penny but eventually gives in and falls in love with her and will do anything to have her as his, They set out to prove that her father is in some shady business to get out of the deal and to keep her from having to marry the brother she doesn't love. Penny will do anything she can to protect Theo and lies to him so he doesn't lose everything he has dreamed off.
This story has it's up and down but the sex is hot and will have you blushing for sure. You will laugh, scream and cry while reading this book but don't give up and keep reading and fighting for them to get the happy ever after.
This book ends where it can be picked up again if the author decides to give us more

The story picks up exactly where Like a Boss leaves off….with Penny walking into the restaurant with Dex after Daddy dearest has just announced to Theo that his daughter is now engaged. Theo and Penny having just shared an amazing night, the night before, you can imagine the conflict, the rage that Theo must be feeling…especially when he sees that it’s his much hated half brother that’s holding Penny’s hand! And … Penny is now the new boss of Lopa.

Great, in the matter of a few short hours Theo’s life crumbles. He signed over Lopa to Penny’s father, and he loses the girl. This sends Theo into a bit of a mind numbing existence with a list or two thrown in for good measure.

Love A Boss is the concluding book to Logan Chance's Like A Boss. So as we know Like A Boss ended with Theo finding out that Penny was not only going to be the new manager and his new boss at Lopa but that she is also engaged to his half brother and giant douche Dex....

So it's been a few weeks since Theo found out the news about his bar he feels betrayed and he's heartbroken, so he's been having a pity-party for one, but you do have to feel sorry for the dude. What Theo doesn't understand is there is a reason why Penny done what she did we just don't know why!!!! The chemistry is still sizzling between them everytime they cross paths, there are sexier sexy times. Theo has a dirty dirty mouth. The banter between the pair is hilarious, Logan also manages to bring your emotional side out. Don't worry ladies we get to see more of Theo's lists.

Logan's writing is fluid and you would never guess this is only his second book, the characters are well written, it's evident that Logan has grown as an author in the short time he's been on the scene. I can't wait for his next series to be released. 5 HOT stars

I was absolutely stunned to win an ARC of yhis book. I was holding my breath waiting for the release.

This second book in this duet was so worth waiting for. I can promise you ladies you will not be disappointed.

There are plenty of twists and turns in Theo and Penny's story. Extremely hot as hades sexy episodes where they lose themselves in the throes of passion. Have cold water beside you!!!!

Theo knows Penny does not want to marry his brother Dex. It takes a while to realise she has eyes for him alone. Penny cannot tell him why she has agreed to marry Dex but tells him it is to do with her father.

Theo lets his feelings loose and then finds some things that do not sit well with him. Could Penny be hiding more information from him???

Things get very heated and come to a head and Penny kmust face her fears and make an effort to clear the air but could she be putting herself in fanger??

Ladies - you are in for a treat and your wait for this concluding book in the story will leave you gasping for more stories from this talented author. Enjoy the thrilling read!!!!

Love a boss is the second and conclusion of the boss duet series.


 


As Penelope and Theo's story continues you fall more and more in love with them. They face so many obsicales there relationship feel like there on a rollercoaster.


 


This book was great it shows how the characters have grown as a couple and as people. Penelope always did what was expected of her but she is also sweet and sassy. In love a boss she puts her foot down and wants control of her life not what her father wants. Theo also was shown as a more developed character. He is sweet sexy and a dirty talker all in one. Through it all there chemistry and love for one another is so strong but would it be enough.


 


Sometimes when you love that person and want wants best for them the best is to walk away. Wanting to protect them is worth the pain.


 


You have to read this fantastic book to find out if there love can withstand it all.

Love love love Part two of this story. We start off where Like a Boss ended with Theo finding out the girl of his dreams, Penny, is not only the new manager of the Lopa but she is engaged to Dex, Theo’s brother. Needless to say life becomes a mess for both of them. We know Penny has made a deal with the devil, her father, to save Theo from losing the bar but what kind of deal and why? Can she live with her plan once she starts it in motion? What about Theo; will he give up part ownership in the Lopa rather than see Penny day after day, knowing she is with his Dex. Part two is full of twist and turns and surprises. Who do we trust? Who do we believe? What is the truth and what part is nothing but lies? This is a must read if you have read Like a Boss and a both books are Definite Reads if you haven’t read either one. I say 2 Thumbs up for a Great Conclusion to this gritty, sexy, romantic story and I Highly recommend both books as 1-clicks.

Love A Boss is the sequel to Like A Boss. This is the second book by Logan Chance.

Love a Boss picks up a few weeks after Like A Boss ends. So you need to read that one first!

Logan Chance makes you feel what the characters are feeling. I was angry at points, I laughed at times and I wanted to hit Dex more than once. My emotions were all over the place while reading this book.

The chemistry and the banter between Penny and Theo gets better in this book. I loved reading their story, the ups and downs. I thought I loved Theo in the first book but there is no doubt about it in this book. Penny is still as sassy and witty as she was in the first book. I am sad to see these characters go as this is the conclusion in the duet. Its hard to believe that this is only the authors 2nd book. I look forward to reading so much more from him.

I was dying for this book after the way were left at the end of Like A Boss. I have so been wanting more Theo and Penny and Logan definitely delivered. This sequel was amazing and even more so that this is only the author's second book. This book left off immediately after the first book and you automatically feel the devastation of the fallout from that book. I knew this was going to be a roller coaster of a book from the first chapter.

I love this author's writing style. It keeps me reading and keeps me entertained. I also love the characters. I think even more so in this book. I definitely see the progression of the two main characters in the story and it made me like them even more. This story was sexy and suspenseful and full of emotion. I loved every minute of it and could not put it down. I can't wait to read more!

Theo and Penny are back!

In this second installment of The Boss duet, Logan plays his cards to bring us a romantic, also funny, story filled with intrigue and betrayal. With the same fresh and light narrative style introduced in his previous work, the author tell us what happened after Theo and Penny took different paths at the end of the Like a Boss. Their love story was spoiled thanks to Penny's dad and Theo's brother, but in this book you will discover why.

I loved how the author resolved the plot, the pop culture references and how, after all the inconvenients in their path, the main characters found their way back to each other.

If you enjoy Like a Boss, you're gonna love this one. And if you aren't read Logan Chance yet, you should 'cause his work has no waste.
