This is one of the most compelling and heartwarming story I have had the opportunity to read. There are so many outstanding descriptive renditions of realistic western adventures in follow and Frank certainly proves to be the man to be reckoned with!

Most definitely five stars worthy, as the Author leaves no stone unturned in his successful descriptiveness of each and every outstanding episode throughout the entire story! There are moments of heartwarming compassion, only to be followed by someone losing their life through some diabolical unknown reason! Mr. definitely did his research before punching the first key.
Frank and his compadres pulls no punches when it becomes time to bring justice to those having a complete stranglehold on his hometown! He enlists those are he can trust, when the time comes to bring an end to the ongoing hardships that have held people captive for so long.
Some of the most compelling storylines I have had the opportunity to read, and I have read a few. Too, the Author's outstanding character selections were unsurpassed in their commanding assignments throughout this compelling, but heartwarming, series of ongoing western adventures!
Most definitely recommend this compassionately motivated story to everyone, but especially to you died in the wool western folklore lovers, as you will find yourselves completely engrossed within the first few pages, as you will find yourselves riding along with Frank, and his crew, as they pull no punches in bringing the bad guys devilment to an end! Believe me when I say you will be the loser, if you don't follow these dedicated peace lovers in their unending devotion to end the scourge caused by a gang of worthless cut throats!!!😃

After reading of 50 Western novels during the Covid Pandemic this would be the first one I can not recommend.....over and over the hero Sheriff in this book comes up with the most stupid bungling's I ever read a pretend sheriff to pull off. Go ahead and read if you want but your going to find yourself shacking your head and saying how stupid can one guy be. Example, He tells his girl he wants her to stay with his sister and brothers she will be safe there...do they have guns, no,, is the outlaw they fear not going to show up (he and his gang sure do, burn down the house) How many times does he get his girl away form the main outlaw only to have the outlaw come back and take her again, again,again...nothing like going after a gang of outlaws with just pistols and no longer range rifles???? and the goes on and on.........

Repeats 🤔😈

What happened to our story line s? Its all starting to repeat itself. Just get a new sheriff different town change a few names, some times , sheriff learns how to shoot bad guy after killing the rest them ,FINALLY hits the leader, meets girl, Marry's girl, gets pregnant next story starts All over.
First 2 or 3 was great. Writing is good but need new material, its getting boring.. This is my 11th book. Pretty much the same. Wanted to read them all don't like leaving things undone but now I'm beginning to wonder.
Come on Frank make some changes soon , please🙏..

Great story, well written

This book was a great story line. I really enjoyed it. Frank Wheeler does a good job. Sure as the sun comes up in the East this book was different. I mean the sheriff gets shot and the story is about his son six years later. Ok, see I told you it was different. Boy loves girl, girl loves boy. Boy has a real hard time getting girl. You'll see.

Bullets Don't Rest

This was a pretty good read, but just too much explanation for what ever reason, then skipping over what should be explained. All this aside, this was an interesting story.

Western loopholes, never what it seams...

Frank Wheeler does it again....his authentic outlook of the west is always dead on...I am from the west, Wyoming to be exact, and I love Westerns so I know a fantastic author when I read them....Can't wait for the next book...

It's meant to be

True love is meant to be fulfilled. It might take a while and a lot of bad and good things get in the way. Frank along with many of the people in town had lost love ones at the hand of Steven Cane but Frank was determined to find justice and happiness.

The storyline was good.

I keep hoping that there will be less raping and murder in this author's books but so far it's not happening. Which is sad as I do enjoy parts of the stories!

Great western classic! Bullets do rest when you're dead!

Following in his fathers foot steps, Frank becomes a great Sheriff. The town was safe, but was he? Connecting with a childhood friend was all it took to settle the score.

Bullets Don't Rest:

Enjoyed your book . Very much. Did Nash find her and baby? But I bet he did. I'm looking forward to your next book.

Headshots

Seems like every shot made is to the head. You would think the shooters would be aiming for center mass. A little too much rampant murder.

Suspenseful

Although the writing isn't quite up to his later works, this is an engaging story with a lot of excitement.
