The author had quite a job finishing all the varied plotlines in this series. At times, the pace of this final book seems a bit frantic, but in the end he pulls it off well.

This series will stay with you. You may never blithely believe news reports or the word of the government again. The best books have you questioning the status quo. Very thought provoking! I highly recommend all this author’s work.

Set for release by July 4, 2021, I’ve had the pleasure to read a Beta manuscript supplied by the Author in return for suggested corrections and an honest review. It is available for preorder at this time.

2050 Collapse is the final book in the series.
And a fitting ending it is! The characters are fully fleshed out, and the plots and sub-plots wrapped up to tell the sprawling voluntaryist vision of a future society evolving to a form where personal freedom is paramount.

A great read, for the action and thought provoking social commentary, it is a true completion to the series.

Book 5 wrapped up the series in an interesting and satisfying way. The whole book was a wild and twisty thrill ride, but some of the scenes depicted in this book were very visceral and hard to listen to, through the audiobook. I found the book to be thought-provoking as the author shined a light on matters that are of concern in the real world. Tristan Wright's and Sarah Grace Wright's dual narrations were engaging and held my attention until the end. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Collapse is riveting!

If author, Phil M.Williams said he was re-writing the phone book and releasing it, I’d read it! I know without a doubt that there would be a fresh take, and something interesting guaranteed to make me excitedly research to find out more. Williams always stokes my thirst for knowledge, and I’m finding I’m more of a action junkie than I thought, too. I will be eagerly awaiting his next book!

2050 is an eye opener

William's captures a lot for his readers to think about. He masters this fictional series where readers can imagine between the lines of what is left unsaid to cause justification for the readers mind to compare futuristic predictions comparing with our present day political and social unrest. All the players are there within his fictional characters to give us pause for serious conern for our future in America. The series books 1-5 is an excellent read

What an amazing series!

I liked everything about these books and couldn't put them down. I literally lost sleep reading until my eyes watered and blurred because I had to find out what happened next! Mr. Williams is now officially my favorite author.
His observations of the world today transcribed into a fictional story with such feeling and detail is fantastic.

2050 is a series of five books by Phil Williams. They are a fun and engrossing read for when you want to relax and just enjoy. They are set in a future time period focused around the year 2050. Mr. Williams knows his history and economics and lightly applies both to develop credible characters and a very believable plot. I definitely plan to read more of this interesting author.

Book 5 continues the story of people trying survive the hard times created by politicians run amok. Fast-paced and an alternate reality possible when the masses don’t keep government in check. Loved it!

The End?

Make sure and read all the others that come first. This was one heck of a ride. Again the sign of the times and possibilities are endless that these events could indeed occur. This story hits very close to home.

As prescient as Phil M Williams has appeared through the first four books of this series, after listening to Collapse I’m really hoping this one isn’t a portent of the future – near or distant. Along with all the action and intrigue I have come to expect from this series several things occur that provide some measure of comeuppance to some very deserving characters. Who and what – well you will need to read or listen to this book. I will say in all but one instance I never saw these things coming. Collapse does an excellent job tying up this series. Once again Tristan and Sarah Grace Wright’s excellent narration brings this final episode of the series to life. I received a review copy of the audiobook from the author and chose to provide this review.

This is as satisfying a conclusion as you could ask for such a complex series. The author gave himself a huge task when bringing all the various story threads to a conclusion where they felt satisfying to the reader but also connected in the greater sense. Things go badly for all the characters of the series, as the title might suggest, but for the reader is enthralling and engrossing reading. I will say no more for fear of spoilers ruining the ending for those yet to get there but just know this was just what the series needed.

So many typos in this one! I was surprised at that given the quality of previous books by this great author.
