رااااائعة من روائع الادب الكلاسيكي وسعيدة ببداية قراءة النسخة الكاملة المترجمة اخيرا

Skaityta kelis kartus, žiūrėti skirtingų pastatymų filmai. Tuo metu, man, pramuštgalvei paauglei, tai buvo hitų hitas, Dunkanas -vyrų etalonas, nuotykių, keršto ir meilės istorija- tai apie ką gali svajoti ir sapnuoti merginos!!😃 O ir neskaitytų Diuma knygų bibliotekoje, turbūt ir su žiburiu nerastumėt😉

أنهيت الجزء الأول من ثلاثية كونت مونت كريستو، صفحاته 590 صفحة لكن الرواية خالية من الحشو فبالتالي أنهيت الجزء بسرعةٍ لم أتوقعها! وبرأيي هذا ما ميّز الرواية، المرور الزمني السريع وسرعة الأحداث التي منعت عني الملل.
هذه الرواية ثقافية/سياسية بامتياز، جعلتني أرغب بزيارة روما وكورسيكا وجزيرة مونت كريستو بكل هذا الوصف الرائع من المؤلف :)
تستعرض الرواية تفاصيل ولمحات تفتح لك تاريخ فرنسا وإيطاليا، فتستند في بعض شخصياتها على شخصيات حقيقية مثل : نابليون بونابرت ، لويس الثامن عشر ، تشيزاري بورجا المغامر الإيطالي الذي حاول توحيد ايطاليا في اتحاد كونفدرالي ولكنه فشل.. والذي يُظنّ أن ميكاڤيللي استوحى من شخصيته صورة الأمير في كتابه، والد تشيزاري وهو البابا إسكندر السادس ..
وهذا الجميل في الرواية أنها تعرفك على شخصيات تاريخية لم تعرفها مسبقاً، هذا إلى جانب تعريفك بأماكن تاريخية، مثل جزيرة مونت كريستو (جبل المسيح) التي تقع في إقليم توسكانا الإيطالي، وكذلك قصر التويلري الملكي الفرنسي قبل تدميره من قِبل الثوار الفرنسيين، وكذلك هضبة بالاتين في روما، و حدائق كاشيني في فلورنسا (مدينة آل ميديتشي)، و ساحة بوبولو للإعدامات !
قرأتها بترجمة ( محمد آيت حنا ) ترجمة أكثر من ممتازة، المترجم ملمّ جداً بالتاريخ الفرنسي والإيطالي، ويشرح في الهامش كل الإحالات الثقافية والتاريخية والفلسفية من شخصيات الرواية، إلى جانب عذوبة الترجمة وكأنني أقرأ نصاً عربيّاً بالأصل !
وأضيف أن من إيجابيات الرواية أنها عمل أدبي راقي فلا يوجد فيها ما يخدش الحياء أبداً، ربما لأنها رواية كلاسيكية.
شخصياً هذه أول رواية طويلة أقرأها، وأظنها خيار ممتاز وجيد لمن يريد أن يبدأ بالروايات الكلاسيكية.
تتحدث الرواية عن إدمون دانتس، شاب من مدينة مارسيليا الفرنسية
" كان شاباً سنّه بين الثامنة عشر والعشرين، طويل القامة، رشيقاً، بعينين سوداوين جميلتين وشعرٍ فاحم، وفي شخصه تتجلّى كل سيماء الهدوء والحزم التي تُميّز الرجال الذين عُركوا منذ طفولتهم على مجابهة الأخطار " ..
هذا الشاب يتعرض للافتراء من حُسَّاد لفّقوا له تهمة أنه عميل وجاسوس لنابليون بونابرت المتمرد في زمن سيطرة الملكية الفرنسية، وبالتالي سُجِن ظُلماً لأربعة عشر سنة من حياته، لذلك الرواية هي رواية انتقام بالدرجة الأولى.

Sitting down to read this book gave me that sensation of euphoria that I get when opening a steamy bag of popcorn or when about to munch on home made cookies; it is engaging, addictive, well-written, and philosophical. It's is relatable, despite it's age, and will go down as one of the best books I have read. A classic and a must read.

J'aime beaucoup la façon d'écrire de Dumas et malgré la longueur de ce premier tome je trouve qu'il y a pas mal de rebondissements et pas tellement de longueurs. Par contre la toute fin (les 30 dernières pages) m'a moins convaincue et là je l'ai trouvé moins fascinante.
Je lirai les 2 tomes suivants avec plaisir en tout cas

الجزء الأول من كونت مونت كريستو هو مسرح الانهيار البطيء.
دوما لا يُسقط بطله دفعة واحدة، بل يقوده إلى الهاوية بخطى محسوبة، كأن الظلم طقس مقدّس يجب أن يُعاش بكل مراحله.
نرى دانتس يُسلَب كل شيء دون أن يدرك أن اللعبة بدأت، والخيانة لا تأتي من الأعداء، بل من الوجوه الأقرب إليه.
الوتيرة بطيئة، نعم، لكنها مقصودة؛ فدوما لا يكتب عبثًا.
هو يزرع كل تفصيلة بهدوء — الخلفيات، الشخصيات، العلاقات — ليضمن أن الانتقام القادم سيكون منطقيًا، مُرضيًا، وعنيفًا دون أن يصرخ.
نهاية هذا الجزء تشبه النهوض بعد سقوط طويل: بداية التحوّل من البراءة إلى البأس، من الضحية إلى الأسطورة، من قلبٍ طيّب إلى يدٍ لا تعرف الرحمة.

A classic tale of revenge; You want to cheer Dante because he was so seriously wronged; I wonder if part of the author's strategy was to wear the reader out with the long tome, just like Dante. Revenge is in the end, not so sweet.
Readers should always try and remember the period from which the book was spawned. The language is sometimes turgid, the dialogue formal and wordy. This sometimes gets laboured but I generally didn't have too much problem staying interested in the story. The middle tends to move the story more slowly but toward the end the story moves along quickly. Make a chart of the characters-or get one from the web to help you keep track. It might help with the complexity of the relations.

I was reading it in Lithuanian (physical copy) and in English (Apple Books on my phone) so obviously I did mix up the characters at times, but also - THIS BOOK HAS SO MANY CHARACTERS? You find yourself flipping through pages because - WHO IS HE AGAIN? And there’s no avoiding that, no matter how diligent of a reader you are.
Anyway.
It was pretty great. I would’ve even given it 5 stars if the last few chapters didn’t feel so „squeezed in” and then ended so abruptly and the tomes would feel a lot more natural if the first one ended earlier.
Also, for a book of its times it had surprisingly little blabbing about nature’n’shit which sounds a lie considering the size of the book. But it’s not. It’s characters and historical events :D so you win some, you lose some, I guess

May 30, 2020If someone tells you classics are boring show them this book because just wow! This book is perfect for someone who wants to start reading classics or isn’t fully convinced of them ;)
And i know it took me a long time to read it but i wasn’t exactly in the mood for it even though it was so good and that’s why I wanted to read it when I would completely enjoy this amazing book

The Count of Monte Cristo
Indeed, The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorite books in my collection, for it incorporates love, vengeance, and betrayal. This epic novel, involving many twists and turns that keep you on your feet, is a wonderful read. You won't be able to put it down. (:

jealousy, betrayal, endurance, revenge and hope. Astonshing depressing story gets us hooked as we come to know plan and keeps us wondering how exactly the Count will get The justice.
I really admire Alexandre dumas's works but this novel was simply the best thing that I had read in my early childhood ..I just love him ..

1 z 3 tomów w tym wydaniu już za mną i co mogę rzec - jestem naprawdę zafascynowana tą historią, niesamowicie kibicuję Edmundowi i czekam na dalszy ciąg wydarzeń.
Szkoda tylko, że początek i końcówka tego tomu tak się wloką + mam gigantyczny problem jeśli chodzi o całe tło historyczno-polityczne.

определенно приятный и теплый осадок от воспоминаний с этой историй.
она полна всего,грусти,любви,несправедливости,интриги,приключений,и все написано так просто и в то же время интересно.особенно мне 13-летней уж очень понравилось влиться в этот мирок.
не хочу как то критично обделять свой интересы в 13 лет,все таки думаю что книга для всех!

Na dílo klasické literatury nezvykle čtivé, kromě posledních pár kapitol - za ty jsem musela strhnout hvězdičku. Vyprávění z pohledu jiné postavy a celkový popis karnevalu byl zdlouhavý a nebavil mě. Skutečně jsem s tím musela bojovat.
