I’m pregnant. The problem? The father is going to be king, and I’m not exactly meant to be a queen…
I’m only pretending to be someone else for one, measly little royal ball. Just sneaking into the biggest event in the kingdom for a few hours.
How did my best friend talk me into this again?
I could probably get arrested for trespassing on royal property, but as long as I don’t get caught, I’ll be fine.
...Until the Crown Prince himself finds me wandering around the castle unsupervised.
He’s tall, broad, and he slays me with one look. The most gorgeous man I’ve ever seen in my life.
The second his eyes meet mine, I know I’m in trouble. Big, prince-shaped Trouble with a capital ‘T’.
But Trouble feels too good to resist. Trouble makes my cheeks burn when it whispers dirty things in my ear. Trouble makes me feel like a woman for the first time in a long, long time.
And what happens at the castle stays at the castle…right?
Wrong.
As it turns out, Trouble has consequences. Those consequences have ten little fingers and ten little toes, and a mother who is completely unprepared.
Lucky for me, Trouble comes knocking down my door, demanding to know why I lied about my name...
Bad Prince is a royal accidental pregnancy romance featuring a brooding, possessive hero and his feisty heroine. Grab a cold glass of water… this contemporary Cinderella retelling is about to get hot!
Note: Previously titled Knocked Up by Prince Charming
Lilian Monroe lives in a luxurious jungle treehouse surrounded by lush greenery, with an army of scantily-clad men with rippling abdominal muscles ready to attend to her every need.
No, wait. That's not true.
Lilian Monroe spends her days dangling her feet into her pool, while a scantily-clad pool boy with rippling abdominal muscles feeds her chocolate-covered strawberries and massages her back.
Okay, okay. You got me. That's not true, either. Let's try again.
Lilian Monroe lives at home with her two children, three dogs, and twelve chickens. Her husband likes to work shirtless in the back yard. His sweaty, gleaming abdominal muscles ripple with every movement and he—
I'm sorry. I have to stop. Fine, I'll admit it. That one isn't true either.
How about this: Lilian Monroe loves thinking about men with rippling abdominal muscles serving her hand and foot, and she wants you to think about them too! She is an avid reader, writer, and lover of all things romance.
She loves everything from bad boys to billionaires. Her books are packed with sizzling-hot heat, action, suspense, and everything from second chances to single dads. She hates cheating and loves a good happily ever after (and rippling abs).

The heroine:Elle - she never knew her parents, grew up as a foster kid in Grimdale, the poor part of the kingdom. She was able to get a rowing scholarship to the university and trains daily for the royal regatta. She is bullied by the other students and her team members who are from the wealthy part of the kingdom.
The Hero(s):Charlie - the Crown Prince of Farcliff. A little kingdom near the great lakes, between the United States and Canada. His mother died when he was young and his father hates him and thinks him responsible for his mothers death. His father is pushing him to select a proper wife from the elite members of society in order to take his place as king.
The Story: The story is a loosely based cinderella retelling. Ella is not an acceptable match for the prince and isn’t invited to the ball. Though her roommate is invited and plays fairy godmother in giving Elle her ticket, providing a dress, a makeover and more. Elle goes to the ball, meets the prince and runs away at midnight without her white shoes.
Prince Charlie can’t forget the woman from the ball and does what he can to find Elle. Though when he does it isn’t exactly happily ever after. Since Charlie’s father is a difficult man and seems to have some sort of evil plan that somehow involves making sure Charlie is married to one of the acceptable girls in the kingdom, but it also involves plans for a damn project that Charlie’s mother fought against when she was alive.
When Elle finds out she is pregnant, she knows things are not going to work out. She is not one of the girls that is acceptable as a future queen and Charlie has taken every precaution to make sure he never got a girl pregnant so will not be happy with the news.
The narration was done by Roxelana Waters and Nick J. Russo. They did a good job. I thing Roxelena sounded a bit old for a college age girl, but other than that, she did fine. I liked the narration by Nick J. Russo and especially like the fact that it was dual narration. More and more, I am not purchasing romance audiobooks unless they have dual narration.
At the beginning of the book it made me throw up mentally inside my head because it was a s*x scene from the hero with another woman. Thats not a good first impression for me to read the firsts book😂😂
‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING. LOVE IN FIRST SIGHT. THE HERO IS OTT POSSESSIVE ALPHA MALE. THE HEROINE IS A SASSY ONE AND STRONG.
It has separation for 6 months because both think it was right and both didn’t really fight their relationship and their love anyway, it seems like in my point that both didn’t really think it through... they didn’t FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT THING ENOUGH. And that made them separated for that long, for a kingdom and family reason too but come on... shouldn’t they fight whats right because both really love each other?
DURING THE SEPARATION BOTH NEVER EVER GO OR TOUCH ANYONE ELSE....
When the hero was having a dark thoughts about the heroine, he went to a club with his brothers and have girls touching his ear and hands but he immediately runs away and regretted it very much. Nothing further tho...
‼️‼️‼️I GAVE IT 4 stars because the hero immediately when he saw and feel the heroine in his hands, HE WANTS HER SOOOO FREAKIN BAD. HE LOVES AND OBSESSED WITH THE HEROINE.... “SHE WAS SO DIFFERENT. SHE WAS SO SPECIAL. SO..... PERFECT.” “SHE DOESN’T ACT HOW I EXPECT HER TO. SHE DOESN’T MOVE, OR DRESS, OR CARRY HERSELF LIKE ANY OTHER WOMAN I’VE MET. SHE’S DIFFERENT.” “SHE’S THE MOST GORGEOUS, PERFECT CREATURE I’VE EVER LAID EYES ON.”
I loved it so much when the hero immediately went after the heroine the next day and searched for her. He said he needs to see her and even stalking her.
THE HERO IS IN THE LINE to be a king.
NO Royal drama that made you cringe. Nope.
‼️‼️‼️IT HAS FEW JEALOUS SCENES FROM THE HERO AND LITTLE FROM THE HEROINE.... HOT SAFE TOO MUCH DRAMA ROMANTIC LOVE STORY.
IT HAS DRAMA WITH OW AND SCHOOL GIRLS BUT NOT TOO ANNOYING... NO DRAMA WITH OM. OTHER DRAMA WAS FAMILY DRAMA...
HOT SMUT SCENES.
NO VIRGINS.... both never talked about past partners.
✅✅✅WHAT made me a bit annoyed with the whole thing because both hero and heroine are very childish and very stubborn with their whole feelings for each other. WHEN THEY CONSTANTLY SAYING I LOVE HIM I LOVE HER SO MUCH. BOTH PUSH EACH OTHER AWAY ESPECIALLY THE HEROINE PUSH THE HERO TOO MUCH and it was sooooo annoying! She is very insecure about her relationship with him and him being a person. The hero always being childish but never end up pushing the heroine way too much like she did. LIKE COME ON....
‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING. Both got married and have 3 kids together and 10 years later epilogue...
so in love with each other...

This is the first book in the series and it was a great start. This book is almost like a sexy retelling of Cinderella. Who doesn’t love a good fairy tale with some heat? A definite opposites attract story and those are the best kind. Charlie and Elle were so cute together. Loved them. You will be able to find something that you will like about this story. Only thing I didn’t like was that it had to end. I can’t wait until the next book in the series.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I'm one of the rare few who actually LIKE pregnancy in books, and I want to see more of it despite a lot of people saying the opposite. I appreciate that this book at least incorporated it at a reasonable time and didn't wait until the last page to drop it on us, but other than that, it's hard to think of positives.
I had to skim this after about the 80% mark. I didn't really care anymore what happened next. The main characters for me weren't likable, especially the prince. He went from zero to a hundred way too quick and was just an ass overall.
Elle, the main protagonist, also heavily got on my nerves. I really liked her portrayal in the beginning. Being a woman who has broader shoulders, has some muscle to her due to her rowing, and has shorter hair. I liked how she held herself and her internal dialogue with her feelings toward that, it was refreshing to see.
What I didn't love was how dumb she was at times. Rowing to her means a LOT, she doesn't want to miss a single day of it, so when she has unprotected sex and tells her roommate and friend, she proceeds to tell her to take a morning after pill (Plan B).
Elle then insists that she doesn't want it because it'll 'make her feel sick for a few days and can't risk missing rowing practice'. Girl what? If you can row on your period, you can row after taking emergency contraception. Not only that but a full ass pregnancy of 9 months is for sure going to be a LOT worse than feeling like sh*t for a few days. Her friend even brings this up, stating pregnancy is far worse than few days of feeling unwell, but Elle insists that the chance of doing it once unprotected is such a low risk that it's not worth taking the pill. She really doesn't know how pregnancy works. All it takes is ONE time.
The mental gymnastics just didn't make enough sense to me, especially considering rowing seemed important to her. If she could row on her period, she could have taken the pill and still went the next day. It just felt out of character for her and overall, I just didn't click with the characters or the plot unfortunately.
With a Good Editor this could have been a 5 star review. The story has to many repetitions. The characters repeat the same thing over and over. They just phrase it differently.
The villains of the story Talon and the King should have been executed for murdering a Queen. I wanted to see Olivia's reaction to be jilted at her big Royal Wedding. She taunted, embarrassed and mistreated Elle the heroine of the story for years. Getting jilted and the Prince marrying the girl she bullied wasn't enough.
All in all it was a good read.

I should have known by the generic title that this would be completely dumb, but I’m a sucker for fairy tale retelling. It was, of course, completely dumb. It also jumped right of of the sweet wagon in chapter two when Prince Charming is screwing some random chick and as he finishes, he brags about tying off the 4th condom of the night. The next night he meets the heroine and they have sex. Big ew factor and can’t figure out why the author threw that in there. I skimmed the rest for the heck of it, and it doesn’t get better. The writing is sophomoric and the characters have no depth. Prince Charming, in addition to being a sleaze, is a coward with no balls to do what needed to be done. Not sure what anyone saw in this story?
DNF, the introductory scene for our “bad prince” has him mid-coitus with another woman, who’s name he doesn’t appear to know. We are treated to the loud crack of him smacking her ass and the truly endearing sentiment that he “emptied his balls into her”.
I love dark romance books, I can read cheating and other gross behavior by the H. I’m not a prude I read mostly romance and erotica, I hate slow burns and I refuse to read a “clean” romance.
My choice to DNF is because it won’t matter to me what it how the author tries to redeem our bad prince from here, I won’t like him, so there’s no point in continuing. This is the hands down most disgusting introduction to an H I’ve ever read and that’s saying something because I prefer dark romance.
4 stars for this one from me, only because I find soppy romances hard to read at times. Other than that I really enjoyed the storyline concept, I just don’t think the author pulled off the alpha male persona she was going for with Prince Charlie, and a twisting mystery/murder plot. It has the makings of a great book, but this is a book trying to portray strong characters, and a suspenseful atmosphere, but being written as a soppy romance. Sorry, only way I can think to describe my thoughts.
Sweet, Charming , Sexy and Entertaining!!! 4ish Stars
Spin of Cinderella... Great entertaining read. I enjoyed both characters Charlie and Elle. I enjoyed the secondary cast too! Sweet , charming and sexy read. Read on KU
Still looking for a modern day Cinderella retelling that I will love. This wasn’t it. I could have DNFd this book but it was easy to read and I wanted to see it through. However don’t really care for the writing style so at least I know this is an author I probably won’t read again.
This is a modern-day rated R Cinderella story, where Cinderella leaves the ball with more than just a story. She leaves pregnant. This has everything you would want for a Cinderella story: a poor girl with no family or identity, a “fairy godmother” type friend, two evil “step-sister” characters, mistaken identities, and a prince forced to marry to become king. The names are even spot on with Prince Charlie and Elle. I’m not always a fan of fairytale retellings because there’s never anything new in the plot line. BUT I really liked this story! There was just enough intrigue and deviation from the original plot line of Cinderella that it kept my interest. I did get a little bored of Elle repeatedly claiming that she was “just here to row.” We get it. And she was definitely an idiot for thinking a chance of getting pregnant wasn’t as bad as getting the morning after pill. She lost a lot of respect for that stupid line of thinking. But I liked her nonetheless. And I liked her with Charlie and how they helped each other grow. And I love the added plot twist with the accidental pregnancy! I would’ve liked to see more and maybe longer after the baby was born, but it was still a solid story with sexy time, which is the one thing the original Cinderella tale was missing. This was a cute story and I really enjoyed it.
Sexy little twist on the Cinderella classic only instead of wicked step-sisters our H, Elle, is tortured by mean and cruel team mates. Her handsome prince is in fact a prince but with a dirty talking mouth and he's tatted up. Her nympho roommate is kinda like her fairy godmother in the way that she got her dressed up and to the ball. I liked this quick sexy accidental pregnancy read even though it did induce some major eye rollage, especially when they were having the serious conversation about her having unprotected sex and taking the morning after pill and she came up with the stupidest reasons not to take it. And the stupidest line ever. It was only one time, I couldn't possibly be pregnant. I think the first thing they tell us in sex-ed is "it only takes one time!" Also another thing is prince Charlie doesn't even fight for Elle when his father blackmails him into marrying someone else! They get their HEA but only after some major drama and life changing events occur.
Overall a very predictable story, but I knew that going in to it so I wasn’t put off! I do wish however the ending wasn’t so rushed... I felt like their HEA could have been stretched out a bit longer and not so abruptly told in a matter of a few paragraphs.
Bad Prince is my first read of this author. And it definitely won’t be the last. So much heart, love, laughs and so much more. Elle and Charlie story was so beautiful written. I was rooting for them from the beginning. And I was happy to see they both got the ending they deserved.💜
Where do I start? The books beginning was kind of rough and from there it just got choppier and messier the further I got into it. However, as I continually received second-hand embarrassment from the characters; I kept soldiering on through the “wtf” moments that was thrown at my face and finished the book. So that means it deserves at least one star right? Let’s start out with the characters and their development.. Elle is a character who you just flat out pity and want to smack in the back of the head.. she is a weak emotional train wreck that you can’t help but watch crash and burn... The back and fourth between self pity and having the hots for Charlie have us the reader suffering from whiplash and kind of disgusted with the author for giving us such a flimsy female character. She eventually kinda gets better. I mean she doesn’t hate herself so much however the author writes it off as if she only likes herself better because CHARLIE WANTED HER. Like honey you don’t need no man to get self love. #girlbye 💁🏽♀️ Charlie was an idiot. The introduction of his character was so eye roll worthy that I felt my eyes get stuck in the back of my head for a full minute. Sooo typical of a “bad boy prince” to go around being a player but have no idea what’s going around in his kingdom. Like literally, we all knew his dad was playing chess while Charlie was playing checkers and he kinda let it go while he got into Elle’s bed... it’s like my dude, you know you’re about to get played but instead of doing something you’re shacking up with Elle 🙄 Dahlia was the just an afterthought in every page she showed up in. She wasn’t that memorable. I think the author had to make her character seem so outrageous and “perky” because she literally had no redeemable qualities that made her interesting. Actually none of these characters seemed interesting. I wonder if the author actually sat back and thought of the characteristics she gave the characters and seen how paper thin they were. The storyline was all over the place. I didn’t know if some of the things were forgotten and then remembered later on or if the author was making it up as she goes to connect loose strings? Idk, it seems like the whole ending was a cheat to solve all of Charlie’s problems. Seemed real convenient his mother kept all that evidence.. and why did Nev take so dang long to show Charlie the letter? Seriously so much I could say about this book that just didn’t make sense. But I feel like we as readers need these type of books every now to restart even if they are really terrible.
This is the first book by this author that I've read. I found it on Facebook in and ad and it sounded interesting.
THe book centers around a young girl name Elle. In this story, I am reminded a lot of crosses between Cinderella and Ella enchanted. In it, Elle is a girl from the lower parts of the kingdom. She's in college on the rowing team on scholarship. Unbeknownst to her, her best friend and roomate, is former disgraced nobility. The friend gets an invite to The Prince's Ball, which is for his 25th birthday and is the place where he is supposed to find a wife.
The main love interest is Prince Charlie, the crown Prince of the Kingdom. He's a player and has been in scandals before. His main goal is to toe the line and his temper and become King. He is forced to attend a Ball for his birthday. He manages to find one girl who blows him away and he gets all cozy with her because she is defiant and will not just pander to him because of his title.
In the majority of the book, after one night of protection-less endeavors, he becomes infatuated with Elle and has to have her. For the first time in his life, the Prince is changing who he is to be more for Elle even though he doesn't know too much about her. The two of them go on to have a pretty steady relationship. As her biggest competition comes around, she learns she's pregnant from their only time they got it on without protection. She tells him in the worst way possible. Things escalate between him and his father and he's forced into a marriage he doesn't want in order to protect the woman he loves and his baby.
In the end, he figures out a way to save not only himself, but the love of his life, his child, and even his kingdom from his father.
Lots of drama but lots of good bits too.
Would I reread? Maybe. I did like this one. Would I recommend? Yes. Book Hangover? Not really Stand Alone or Series? This is #1 in a series of books but the ending doesn't leave you hanging. I think it could be a stand alone if you wanted it to be. The rest of the series descriptions do not make it clear if the characters from here are in the other books as they focus on other couples. I myself do not wish to further my reading of this series. It's okay but not enough for me to demolish the rest of the books.I do not want to read multiple books with the same theme....a girl, a Prince, and a pregnancy and the complications the couple face to be together and have the baby.
A Fantastic start to the Knocked up Royals series. I absolutely loved it and the unexpected twist at the end blew me away, so was not expecting that! This amazing Royal romance was perfect and Ms Monroe’s best book so far for me! I adored every single one of the main characters especially Dahlia, Elle’s ever beloved best friend with her wise words and faithfulness to Elle and Prince Charlie! You can’t choose your family but you can for sure choose your friends! The storyline was magnificent and kept me glued for one whole perfect afternoon of reading, which I always have with Lilian Monroe’s books. Poor Elle was judged and found wanting because she comes from Grimdale the poor side of the kingdom, but will she be his chosen one? Elle is sick of being put in the ‘friend zone’ with men just because she is tall and stronger than most men, so Rowing for the regatta is all Elle can think about. But her life is made miserable by the ever snobbish Olivia Brundle, that I could have slapped many times throughout this amazing story. Will Crown Prince Charlie ever be able to please his hateful father the King of Farcliff? What is Charlie’s dangerous father plotting and planning There are so many secrets and lies in the palace can Charlie be able to trust anyone? Who will be the bride his father picks for the Crown Prince? Evocative heat surrounds Elle and Charlie, desire personified and almost palpable, in fact hot, hot, hot! Can Elle ever tell Charlie her secret and is her fate already decided? I urge you readers out there to definitely one-click this magnificent book today! I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a free copy
This quick, adorable standalone was a delight to read. It was well written, had a great plot with good pacing, and had a cast of characters that were easy to fall in love with. The author did a great job with keeping the balance between the romance, the drama, and the angst, making this book easy to get lost in and hard to put down. Since this book is a standalone in a connected series of standalones, it tells a complete story but still connects with the rest of the series. As this book deals with some heavy topics, trigger warnings will be included at the end of my review for those who need them.
For her entire college career, Elle has been focused on one thing: training to win the biggest rowing competition in the country; using the prize money and her rowing scholarships to stay at her prestigious college and get a degree she can use to support herself in the future. As an orphan who was adopted later in life, she knows the importance riding on her ability to stay focused, but despite her best efforts, she can’t resist the opportunity to dress up for a night and sneak into the most anticipated party of the year: Prince Charles’ birthday party where it’s rumoured he’ll be choosing a wife. When her party crashing leads to a steamy, reckless tryst with the Prince himself, Elle panics but can’t bring herself to regret the moment, and despite her plan to avoid him and keep their time together as nothing more than a memory, Prince Charlie isn’t ready to let her go.
As time passes and Elle and Charlie grow closer and closer, complications within the castle walls threaten to tear them apart, and as Elle discovers a shocking truth that has the potential to change their lives forever, they need to decide if being together is worth not only their future together, but the future of the entire kingdom as well.
The plot of this book was super cliché and I loved it! I’m a sucker for a good accidental pregnancy trope, and combined with the royal/commoner aspect of this book, it was deliciously tropey and great fun to read. It had lots of good drama and complications to keep the story interesting, and though I’m not particularly a fan of a third act breakup, the author did a good job with it in this book. The plot made sure to give time for not only the spicy and sweet romance to bloom, but the scheming and underhanded problems to fester as well, taking readers along on a fast moving journey to this couple’s happily ever after.
Like the rest of the story, the romance between the MCs was fast moving, but it worked incredibly well in this book. The author gave time for the MCs to know each other inside and outside the bedroom, and with the help of the dual POVs, it gave readers confidence in the HEA this couple was fighting for. Though it moved a bit too fast in my opinion, I still loved the ending to this book, especially loving the epilogue that gave a glimpse into the future for this couple.
All in all, this was a quick, cute read that was well written, entertaining, and put a smile on my face.
TRIGGER WARNINGS: Due to the context, possible spoilers ahead!
Though this book is a lighthearted romance, it deals with heavy topics such as: mentions of child neglect and/or abuse due to the foster system (off page), mentions of pedophilia and sexual assault (off page; about MMC), internalized shame due to abuse (on page), verbal and emotional abuse by a parent (on page), and a bit of other woman drama without any cheating (on page; doesn’t go into detail aside from some mentions in the third act of the book).
Pretty bad. Most of the way through this story I thought I would give it at least a 2 though for being a theme I enjoy, but no, by the end I was too annoyed with the characters to feel that generous.
Usually I'm here for a Cinderella retelling. I mean the plot line is there. It has the right ingredients, but this one goes off the rails pretty much right away. I have to admit, I am tired of man whores. It has to be my least favorite trope, but I expected the man whore theme. I mean the title of this is BAD Prince and I have certainly read many of them over the years, so it isn't a deal-breaker, its just old, clichéd. I like when an author makes them something more. But being a man whore is one thing. I don't know why authors love to start out showing them banging someone else and when they do that, it puts an immediate bad taste in my mouth when they are crude and dickish to those other women. That stuff may work in dark romance where the heroes are supposed to be crude through the whole story, but it doesn't work when the hero, bad though he may be, is supposed to be prince charming.
The worst here isn't the hero though. He is not developed much (although his back story about his predatory governess who sexually abuses him could have been); he is simply the man whore prince cliché. Of course, in Cinderella the prince is cardboard as well. It is all about Cinderella. In this story she is called Ella and unlike the original fairytale heroine she gets dumber on almost every page. She makes those chicks in the slasher movies who run into trouble look like mensa candidates by comparison. Her motivations and reasons for everything she does feel forced and unrealistic. Just one example: Why bother talking about taking the morning after pill if she is too stupid to bother taking it. Just pretend she doesn't have access. It is a made up kingdom after all. The whole conversation makes her look ignorant. She's all, it was only one time, I'm sure I am not going to get knocked up. Then when she does get knocked up, she's still like how can that be, it was only one time? She's always ready to believe the worst will happen, but apparently not about that. I was ready to sympathize with her early on in the story, but after almost every scene I read with her I disliked her more. She's especially annoying toward the end of the story and rather than insert spoilers I'll be a bit generic here, but she makes a shit ton of speculations about what the Prince wants when she supposedly loves him by this point and they all make him seem like a dick. Of course, by that point she should know him better, but she is too wrapped up in her own pessimistic head to see anything from his perspective.
Both characters seem more like high schoolers than 20 somethings. She certainly fits the bill as an angsty teen, and he isn't much better.
This was a free book on Prime for me, but it was sitting there in my unread pile and I decided I stood a better chance of having the time to read it if I added the audible, so I paid a few bucks for that. The voice actors did fine, but I was listening to it on almost double speed just to get through it when I gave up on that and went back to my kindle and speed read through the last few chapters just to check it off the list as truly read. This is apparently a series. I will be avoiding the rest.
Okay. I really enjoyed this book. Well written, though it did have some typos, but the storyline was good. The forbidden love between the Prince Charlie and Elle - the orphan girl from the wrong side of the kingdom was a good read from start to finish. After the next paragraph there are some spoilers.
Lots of things going on in the book as far as family goes and the duties of the prince as he is next in line for king. He meets Elle on his 25th birthday Royal Ball. But he doesn't even know her name. They are a relationship who cannot be, because his duties as king require him to marry a suitable woman and she is not considered suitable.
Finding out she's pregnant and then thinking he doesn't want the baby breaks her. Turns out he was excited about the baby once the shock were off and then his father was forcing his hand to marry somebody else, Olivia. Who was Elle's biggest tormenter at school. And just a downright b****.
Turns out, the king likely poisoned his wife, the queen. And when Prince Charlie finds out, he confronts the king and tells him, on his wedding day to Olivia, that the king shall abdicate and Charlie will be free to marry who he wants. So he goes to Elle on his wedding day and gets his woman who is 8 months pregnant. They have their small wedding 2 weeks later and then two weeks after that the baby is born. 💙
And they all lived happily ever after.
I will say also, and that I liked the epilogue in the book. It was down the road from the story and wrapped it up nicely. Additionally, I liked the bonus story of them even though I had to sign up for emails to get it. Lol
So cute read, likeable characters, different family dynamics brought in, and overall a good story.
MODERN DAY SEXY CINDERELLA I loved it! It really is like a modern day Cinderella but with way more mystery, suspense and lots and lots of set your crotch on fire smokin hot sex. Elle is strong but vulnerable and she's determined to make something of herself. Never knowing her real parents and growing up in foster care made her a stronger person, she knows what she capable of and what she wants and that's to be loved. Her adoptive parents Tina and Frank are both special people who love her and she loves them but something has still always been missing and the fact that she comes from the poor part of the Kingdom she goes to a rich college on a rowing scholarship and for three years she's tormented and until she meets Prince Charlie she's never felt beautiful or as loved as he makes her feel. Elle's roommate Dahlia is unusual but she's fun and outgoing and she's kind of a free spirit. I loved her character. She's happy go lucky and she's a very trustworthy friend and she is values her friendship to Elle. Charlie and Elle feel this strong overwhelming attraction to each other and their chemistry is off the charts smokin hot. Neither of them can deny the explosive feeling they have for one another. This book pulled at my heartstrings alittle because no matter how much they felt for each other or how much they loved each other there were always unspoken forces in the background that would never let them be together and Elle always down to earth knew it. I really enjoyed this book. At time the excitement was suspenseful and at times I laughed and times I cried. I recommend this book to everyone it romantic and erotic and is just a feel good story.
