The talented protagonist was the top student in school. Due to his excellence in every subject, many people were dissatisfied with him, so they devised various schemes to mess with him. To the extent that it left a dark shadow on his high school years.
However, the villains did not know that the seemingly poor protagonist was actually the youngest son of the richest man in City A.
And in six years, the protagonist would replace his father’s position as the new richest man in City A with his own capabilities. Ten years later, he would become the youngest and richest man in the country! When that happens, the villains would be tortured to death by the protagonist!
… As bad luck would have it, Yu Bai Zhou transmigrated into the villain that bullied the protagonist the most.
In order to live for a few more years, Yu Bai Zhou, the villain, begins to formulate a character correction plan.
However, just as he is struggling to save his image in the eyes of the protagonist, out of the blue, the protagonist anxiously pushes him against the wall, and traps him within the circle of his arms. Those refined brown eyes watch him attentively. “Yu Bai Zhou, if you make trouble again, I will kiss you.”
Yu Bai Zhou, who was just kabedon’ed, panics. “Can someone tell me, exactly where did I go wrong?!”
This one started quite well, but the plot got weird at some point, and things went down in a shocking way. Unnecessary angst with the usual kidnapping out of nowhere that seems to be very popular with authors 😂.
I laugh a lot at the banter of the couple and their friends. Funny misunderstandings and awkward scenes that I have read before but I guess it's cliche because it's good.
It was refreshing to read about MC having homosexual parents, and their interactions were really sweet.
I would not read it again ☹️, but I don't regret picking this one up.
It’s a bit difficult to review here, because I mostly don’t read such a stories.
For me, this story is quite ordinary. Comedy and fluff, with no drama. Easy to read, and translation is quite good.
The main point I like here is characters relationships and development. I saw how the ML character developed and made a wise decision and was impressed. He was just possessive at first, but understood and showed his good sides, giving MC a choice and trying to develop the relationship. I’m impressed by ML and I like him.
Side characters are quite simple, without develop through the plot.
The extra was good, because without it the ending is not full. At least for me.
Talked all this, I recommend you to try this novel. Easy and light read. And quite short too.
This was such a fun book. I liked both the main characters (there was so much consent in this book - and not on a turn-off way).
I thought the reverse time and transmigration would be too much, but it actually really adds to the story. And since it's primarily a misunderstand-initiated love story, even the rebirth doesn't make the character fully invincible. The misunderstandings were very funny, and not unnecessarily dramatic.
The ending became a bit too tidy too quickly, without much details on how they became successful, but I guess that's OK. The main romantic plot was resolved satisfactorily.
The novel provided a believable high school relationship between the transmigrator and the student his predecessor bullied. I like the laid back relationship between the couple and their loyal school friends and supportive family.
It’s not great. But, it has enough substance in each chapter for me to finish the book. There were very few dramatic subplots. These ended as quickly as the started. Rating it 3.6. Worth reading once.
Me gustó.
Despite remembering he was on the way to do volunteering activity and out of nowhere getting hit by a car, Yu Baizhou was perplexed to say the least when he found himself transmigrating into a highschooler's body, who was apparently known as the school tyrant in what seems to be inside of a novel story. It's even more shocking when he discovered that he was deemed to be the cannon fodder villain who was extremely horrible and liked to bully the main protagonist, a smart nerdy student with bangs so long it hid half of his face named He Yan. In the novel, He Yan went on to be one of the richest man in their city, and Yu Baizhou instead was doomed to have a tragic fate of living within such a terrible villain's body like this. Not to mention the first moment he transmigrated, he was bullying He Yan which made things even worse. Knowing he had to survive, the journey of a school tyrant trying to 'woo' a person he bullied ensued, and that happened to He Yan who was completely aware of everything because he was actually reborn at the same moment Yu Baizhou transmigrated himself into the story.
Complicated, right? But NOOOOPE. Transmigrating into a School Idol and Forced to Do Business was, definitely, one of the fluffiest danmei I've ever read an it's just full of cuteness you literally can't keep a giggle off your face >.<
First off, let's talk about the two main characters. In transmigration/rebirth novels, it was rather easy to have either an overly dense or extremely scheming MC, and yet Yu Baizhou was neither of them. He wasn't the smartest person but he wasn't stupid either, and he was actually working on improving his grade and simply kind without quite losing his influence & the original soul's image both on school and his home. He instead tried to live by his rules, completely disregarding the way the owner's body had lived up until the moment he's taken over it and it was just nice. No dog-blood drama, a true stress-free story where all the MC had to do is actually live, and not survive. Aside from his relationship with ML, I also really adore his evolving familial relationship with his adoptive dads (you've seen it right, we actually got a representation of lgbtq parents in this story and a wholesome one at that!1!1!), and how he tries to make them happy, which was very contradictary with how the original soul had treated his adoptive parents.
On the other hand, He Yan was just equally interesting because this was my first time reading a transmigration danmei where they had a rebirth!ML. Due to that, his personality wasn't so much like before, and instead coming out more calculative, scheming, and overall dark at times. Which makes it even better to witness him gradually falling in love with Yu Baizhou and his adorable antics lol. I was usually frustrated with a rather dense MC but despite being slightly clueless about his feelings, the whole process of He Yan and Yu Baizhou coming together in the end was nothing but endearing, even when it all started by Yu Baizhou's lovely(!!) effort to get close to He Yan in order to change his fate as a cannon fodder villain.
I just loooooove everything about their relationship. Both of them didn't have either extreme naivety nor overbearing attitude towards each other, and the way they're irrevocably in love with each other was something I tremendously enjoyed reading (call it my favorite trope bcs it indeed is hAHAH). A kind of love like this always gets me like no other and it was no different in this book. It's utterly & unbelievably sweet of He Yan being doting to Yu Baizhou and Yu Baizhou being so cuteee whenever he encountered He Yan's flirting was just everythingggg. I LOVE THIS PAIRING SO MUCH AND THEIR ENDLESS AMOUNT OF FLUFF!!!!
If we're about to talk regarding the underwhelming factors, maybe because this doesn't really feel like a transmigration novel? The whole transmigration did occur yet was not made as the main point so if you're expecting something from that, I guess you'll be quite disappointed. And there are quite a suprise small plot near the end (which suddenly involved a rarely-appeared antagonist) but it wasn't long s0 I just overlooked it.
Majority parts of this novel was written to focus on both MC & ML's growth regarding their relationship and it was not as lengthy as some school-setting danmei I've read (62 chapters with an extra chapter included if I'm not wrong), so this truly served as a light-hearted reading that requires less thinking and more squealing!Sometimes it's just so good to find a story where it was not draggy and instead full of sweetness like this. I'd definitely be rereading this whenever I need a lovely read, haha!
Pretty standard fluff for this type of story but it was well-written and the translation was superb so it was hard to put down. I liked that the ML knew pretty quickly that MC wasn't the same person though I really couldn't figure out why no one else in his life questioned it because he seemed to be a pretty radically different from the original goods. Still, it was cute. Nothing surprising or original really happened in the story but it was still entertaining.
I think the only question I have about this story was what business, exactly, he was forced to do? Unless becoming bros with the protagonist of the story counts as business????
Me dejaron comiendo dog food all the novel.

Honestly kind of boring, MC was too much of a Gary Stu and the plot wasn't that interesting to me. Also, there's a really important logistic in their relationship that doesn't even get resolved until after the ending in an extra and gets brushed over so quick it actually made me worried about the MC's critical thinking skills. Shame because I really liked the premise, but I'm starting to realize the ones I don't expect much from I actually enjoy the most
i didn’t finish this book, but i read up to 82%. it’s not the greatest thing ever, but it was alright to pass time. i guess it’s the same with all danmei, they are so slow burn it actually hurts. the way it took way too long for them to kiss pained me so much that i dropped it. still, i’ll consider this a read.
The story is light and entertaining. That said, it is 100% romance and the protagonist is a bit of a white lotus (innocent, naive) and other characters aren't really developed, I find that a bit boring.
pros: nice fleshed out characters, adorable relationship between the mcs, relatively short and a nice easy read, easy to comprehend and great translation/writing style
cons: mental age gap between the couple (ca. 18 and 30)
