A truly great way to start 2021. Thinking about the power of our thoughts and words - God desires unity and He says that people should know his followers because of their love for one another. I highly recommend this study.

2 ½ stars.

Favorite quote: Let’s be responsible with the thoughts we think and the words we speak because they matter to God.

I wanted to love this devotion but I did not. I was looking for something more targeted around the power of positive thinking. This devotion focused on everything except that. My favorite quote (above) was literally buried in the last page of the book.

It was also disappointing to see how long the daily studies were. It took me more than a year to finish this 6 week study and the book of Ephesians is so short. This is not the type of book you do in the mornings before work. It took 2-3 days to get through some of the daily assigned materials.

Also, I didn’t like how every question made you go to another scripture for the answer. That got tiring really quick.

Great study of Ephesians and how to apply to our every day life the way we think and words we speak.

Filter our thoughts and actions:
Is it good?
Is it right?
Is it true?

What an inspiring journey to think about what we say and who we are called to be in Christ
