Rate this book
Romance finds a way to cross worlds, and for Caitlin that couldn't be more true when fate drops her younger self onto a heavenly body filled with magic. Her stay is short, but the memory of that strange adventure, and her handsome protector named Asher, remains with her when fate again comes calling for her, and the world of her dreams becomes the reality of her life.

Caitlin's guide among this new fantastical world is her old protector, Asher, who himself had never forgotten the brave young girl in his charge. He swears to return her to her home, but as she learns more about this new world and the man with whom she has a past, she begins to wonder if that's what she truly desires.

As luck would have it, Asher's mission to send her home takes a detour when his help is urgently needed elsewhere. Caitlin offers to go with him to see more of this new world, and together the pair learn about life, love, and how a little magic can bind together old friends, and new loves.

Magic, Demons, Weird Creatures Make For A Wonderful Story

Caitlyn first travels to this different world at the age of eight, during a storm her mother puts her to bed(she doesn't want to go because of the storm) telling her you're not going to let this little light storm keep you from your dreams are you? But she wakes in a boat with four teen boys and has her first experience with magic though she doesn't realize it. She just knows she feels that Asher is her guardian protector cause he holds her hand through all the danger but at the most dangerous moment she wakes back in her bed. She screams for her new friends and her mother tells her she doesn't know anyone by those names and that she just had a very real type nightmare. Fifteen years later as a young woman on another stormy night she again wakes up in much worse trouble back in that same world just a different part and luckily Asher again finds her just in the nick of time to save her from the two men who have attacked her with not so nice plans for the young woman. When she comes to she see an aware hare that talks with three ears then she sees the young man and she ask "Asher ??" . With Asher she learns of this magic place and what happened to Asher the first time she came there. Until her return he had thought Caitlin had died and disappeared that night. He is called to help someone whose father and brother have a habit of playing with black magic and now the young woman ( their daughter and sister) is missing. The Lord isn't telling Asher everything he needs to know to help. Now Caitlin is in danger . Can Asher save everyone who has been damaged by this black magic? Can he figure out how to get Caitlin back to her world? Does she want to leave this dangerous world and get back to her normal life? Asher cares for her safety above all things so if she decides she wants to stay will he be willing to let her or will he make her go back to the safety of her non magical world? This is a really good story I'd like to continue.

Worlds away

Usually I'm not a fan of of this type of story with an almost time travel feel, but I actually enjoyed this one. You get a HFN with a lot of unanswered questions. I'm already adding the next book to my TBR pile.

Perchance to Dream

Enjoyed reading this book. A good whimsy story. An imaginary story. Definitely a unique story line. A read once book not twice.
