James's profound connection to storytelling has been shaped by his Native American heritage and a California upbringing, adding an enriching layer to his narratives. With each page turned, readers are enveloped in the artistry of a true visionary, an author whose narratives echo the resonance of a captivating cinematic experience.
I don’t usually review books, although I do rely on them when choosing a book. Selfish of me, I know. This story caught my attention early on in book 1 and has stayed with me since then. First requirement is plot twists. They are a must have. Nothing slows a book down for me more than jumping to the end of the book and not being surprised. Well done here!
Fox does a good job of developing his characters and making them interesting, I’m a fan of interesting characters. The story line moves along nicely and you find it quite easy to become wrapped up in their lives. The emotions he evokes involves me thoroughly and keeps the pages flipping. If escapism is your goal and you want a quick paced narrative then you should read this book!
A sure sign that you’ve just finished a good book is when you immediately find that you are disappointed that book 3 has not been released yet. I’m following James Fox and will read anything else he has to write. Thank you so much for a great story!
Finished the second book in the Sol Saga, Retaliation, yesterday. Snuggled up on the couch with my pups. Honestly, couldn't put it down and finished it in 2 days. Can't wait for book 3.
Very much enjoyed this sequel to the original, and very much looking forward to reading the next instalment in this series. The plot line is very interesting and has hard edge that gives the story more depth. I love hard science fiction novels.
