Tempting Teacher

Rate this book
One glance across the classroom.
That’s all it took.
My heart exploded. But I knew it was wrong.
I’m a college student, trying to be the best I can. And he is the handsome teacher who should know better, right?

A juvenile dare from my best friend, involving my teacher, changes the course of my life.
And the subtle glances across the room turn to something much more.
Our chemistry is palpable, even though we try to hide it.

I’m tempting him with everything I have.
Tyler Roberts isn’t just my teacher, he’s the man who has all my attention, and my feelings can’t be ignored.

This game we’re playing is dangerous. But I know he feels this pull too. One kiss, and everything changes. We both know it’s wrong. There’s so much at stake…

But how can something that feels so incredibly right be so damn wrong?
We just have to see if we can make this work
Without being caught…

The characters in this book are the same as Always, Sir. However, the characters have been aged slightly, the story has been modified and extended.

Knowing it was wrong because he is her Assistant Professor, Grace a bookworm, can’t help but fall for him, Tyler. She tries to hide and fight her feelings but what she does not realize is that Tyler feels the same way but knows that it is wrong. As they both maneuver seeing each other during class they realize that every time it becomes harder and harder to hide those feelings. Can they keep it professional? I thought I knew and then I didn’t. A forbidden love with low drama and plenty chemistry. Kara~ 4 Stars

3.5 Stars-Very Heavy Teacher Student

As a fan of this genre, I couldn't wait to see what Tempting Teacher had in store for me. There's nothing like the angsty page turning of a taboo book, not patiently waiting to see what's going to happen next.

As most do, our teacher and student are of age to keep that creep meter in check. Professor Roberts is twenty nine and on the fast track to tenure. He's a self-proclaimed nerdy guy completely interested in teaching his students all about his first love, physics. That said, the girl in his first class is reading ahead before class starts, she looks up and it's all over for Professor Tyler Roberts.

Grace is a good girl by force. She's twenty one, but acts like she's much younger than that due to her dads strict upbringing. She appreciates that she still lives under his roof and that he is paying for her education and doesn't ever want to disappoint him. That said, like Tyler, one look and all rules start to go out the window.

While we have the teacher/student thing going on, it really takes a back seat to Grace's personal life. At one point I would have rather had Tyler as a childhood friend or long lost love than her teacher, as the taboo storyline gets lost pretty quickly. I had a hard time with Grace being her naïve self on one page and then acting like a completely different person on the next. Maybe a more gradual maturing on her part would have worked better.

While I liked the story of Tyler and Grace, minus the teacher aspect, it felt clunky and stiff to me. I'm not a huge fan of insta-love and this was pretty much insta-everything for them. Everything but the kitchen sink was thrown in for this new couple to deal with, along with the fact they are still actually a student and teacher. Tempting Teacher reads as a stand alone with a nice epilogue to wrap things up.

Plot line was basic, story line was meh. Just a teach student story line that has been done better in other books

Could’ve been 2.5 stars but the writing felt very juvenile.

A sweet treat with a forbidden teacher student romance.
Was it instant love at first sight or simply lust. All Grace Bellamy knows is the minute she set eyes on the new physics assistant Professor Tyler Roberts she was gone. Smitten.

Tyler finds himself unable to focus as Grace seems to be flirting with him. He knows how scandalous it would be for a 29 year old college teacher and a sheltered 21 year old student to risk his or her career.
Grace and Tyler find themselves unable to hold back on their emotions.
With so many obstacles to overcome. Betrayal heartbreak and loss. This was a sweet joy to read with some very emotional moments.

Tempting Teacher is a beautiful updated and refreshed version of Alana Jade’s Always, Sir. This is a dreamy, passionate, emotional love story. A heart-wrenching unforgettable forbidden romance that warmed my heart and satisfied every romantic bone in my body.
Ms. Jade certainly has a flair for intense chemistry, passionate love scenes, and emotionally driven romances. This book will make you want to experience college all over again, and maybe, just maybe, give that hot professor that you've been lusting after, a second OR third glance.
From the moment Associate Professor Tyler Roberts notices student Grace Bellamy in his physics class, their lives are irrevocably entwined. Grace is desperate to excel at college to become a psychologist specialising in PTSD as she is experiencing firsthand at home how devastating is can be if people are not treated adequately for it.
Just as Grace and Tyler commence their frowned upon romance, Grace’s world is totally shattered and turned upside down. Tragedy rips her fragile family apart. Tyler is there to catch her and devotedly support her through this destruction. Just as Grace is coming to terms with her new life, another hurdle to their relationship appears…
There is so much to enjoy in this highly emotive and passionate story – a definite must read!

4.5 stars!

Happy Weekend!! I am kicking this off with a review of this brand new release from Alana Jade. Tempting Teacher, a sweet yet forbidden romance, hit Kindle Unlimited yesterday. Having read and loved her other book, Professor Perfect, I jumped at the chance of devouring this one.

In Tempting Teacher, we have Tyler and Grace. Their relationship was sort of insta-love. They saw each other and quickly felt this intense attraction, which is fine, obviously. Problem was, he was her college Professor and that was a BIG no-no.

Despite trying, they really could not stay away from each other, so they decided to give into their undeniable love and just sneak around. Which again, FINE, except things weren’t that easy. In fact, the author through some outside forces adding drama to an already angsty situation. And I was all for it. I loved the suspense thrown into the mix and how Tyler took care of Grace.

If you love sweet and/or forbidden romances, check this one out. I’d also say this book falls under the “safe” romance category too so if those are your jam, you’re good to go!

Don't let the title full you. 'Tempting Teacher' is a story where you will need to bring your tissues out on more than one occasion. This story has a backbone. It is a deeply moving book, one that you will fully engross yourself in. And I hope like me, you will fall in love with Grace, who deserves all the good things that life can offer her.

When Assistant Professor Tyler Roberts enters the classroom, shy Grace's world turns upside down, she is the girl with her head in a book, just trying to finish college and become a psychologist, but she can't help noticing Tyler. Tyler notices Grace of course, but knows she is his student....but let me stop you where I think your mind might be going, a student falls for the teacher, the teacher falls for the student, forbidden love, etc, etc and yes to some degree that is the case, but that is only a very small point of this story, believe me when you fully get to know Grace and her life you will be under this book's spell until the end.

Highly recommend

Incredible!
Grace and Tyler have an insta-love story that they try to fight due to their circumstances - her a student and him her teacher. They share a kiss before deciding to part ways. During their time apart, they realize that being apart is worse than the repercussions they face being together.

Finally together and finally happy, they both face other obstacles that threaten the love they wish to share. I loved the way their relationship built and how they were there for each other through rough times that could have easily split them up.

This was a great story with wonderful love and just enough steam.

Tempting Teacher is a story of forbidden love and while the genre has been done numerous times this author brings a little more to the story. Grace is an A student with no social life and even fewer social skills, while Tyler is an associate professor at the college Grace attends. An instant attraction between the two is not pursued at first due to their circumstances, but after considering all the options they decide to try and have a secret relationship. Drama, betrayal, blackmail, and loss bring them together but will their relationship spell disaster for their respective careers. Recommend to anyone who likes age gap forbidden romance.

Tyler and Grace tell an entertaining story. College student meets young associate professor and fireworks go off.

This is a forbidden romance just because of the them being teacher and student. They struggle quite a bit through the book on how they will be able to be together. One of them has to make a sacrifice. Tyler being the man he is takes it on and will do anything to make sure he doesn’t lose Grace.

Their HEA is a feel good once we get there. This isn’t super dramatic or angsty. It has some but not enough to have you worrying will they make it. It’s a sweet, fiery romance.

*An ARC was provided in exchange of an honest review*

This read is not entirely what I was expecting & I love that! Grace is a student who has been the type of person who keeps her head down. She’s never tried to be one to call attention to herself. Professor Tyler Roberts causes that to change. She can’t help but be drawn to him and while he too feels that pull, it’s not as easy as being able to just five into that pull. Oh this read!! Loved it!! A must-read!!

Forbidden (and age gap) love 💌!

Grace is a straight A student, inexperienced in life and love. Tyler is Grace's new teacher. Sparks fly in their first meeting with neither of them able to resist their feelings. A lovely story of a young couples' struggle to pursue a relationship over a multitude of obstacles thrown at them.

A sweet (and Hot) love story ❤

I loved loved loved this book. Every girl wants to have a guy like Tyler fall in love with them He is simply the whole package. Gorgeous, sweet, smart and a totally amazing guy. I can see why Grace fell hard so fast for him.
Grace doesn’t have a great home life and at times reading what she was going through got really sad. Although there are many emotional scenes, the story is uplifting. Tempting Teacher is well written and I highly recommend it

I received this ARC for an honest review. Story is written well. Characters development happens at a steady pace. Tyler is 30 and Grace is 22. Her college professor, who helps her through the worst time of her life. How long can they keep it a secret?

I think this might have been one of the worst books I’ve read recently (sorry) I hate leaving bad reviews but I just did not enjoy this book and this trope has been one of my favourites for years so I was super disappointed 😔.
I almost dnfd it but I’ve already used my dnf for the year (I don’t like not finishing a book) so I persevered.

For starters their relationship was too much insta love that it bordered on creepy and cringey. It felt almost predatory and shallow to begin with, the professor doesn’t even know the fmc but he is describing her as gorgeous and sexy in his first class with her and it felt like a real abuse of his position with how little he seemed to genuinely care about his thoughts. (Again this is one of my favourite tropes but I prefer when it’s a slow build up of genuine chemistry and it’s not just flat out inappropriate sexual attraction from the get go) It then built to I love you’s in a stupidly fast/unrealistic pace.
The writing wasn’t great (sorry😫) it felt clunky, childish and uncomfortable and needed an editor in parts too.

It was all very far fetched and everything happened all at once. The characters were adults but it felt like I was reading a book about children with how immature and naive they both were. I mean the pregnancy thing for starters-oh a stomach flu, oh no it’s stress because it only happens in the morning for over 6 weeks- oh stress must make boobs hurt- oh I might be pregnant after I finally asked ‘dr Google’- oh but we were careful, even though there was a whole weird scene about a condom mishap that they both did nothing about. Oh and the awfully weird way he describes her bleeding after losing her virginity as ‘sexy’ 🤢🤮 I could go on…

The antagonist storyline was predictable from the get go too and honestly didn’t really add anything.
There was also a side story with her friend who was also dating an even older, divorced with kids, professor and the dialogue between that professor and the mmc made me want to bang my head against a wall.

There was no angst, no push and pull, no warring with themselves about whether it was right. It was all just too clean cut and very one dimensional with no risk.

In hindsight I probably should have just abandoned my no dnf rule and abandoned the book alongside it 😬

I like a forbidden romance, a teacher and student are some of my favorite forbidden romances so I was excited when I started reading Always, Sir. Unfortunately for me I just didn’t love this one as much as I had hoped that I would. I just wasn’t connecting with Tyler and Grace and couldn’t feel the chemistry between them either. I wish I had loved this one, I really do but sadly we can’t love everything that we read and this was the case for me with Always, Sir.

I love this book! The characters were great together, and also as most books goes you have the characters you love and also those you love to hate. Tyler and Grace had amazing chemistry. This storyline pulled me in and I couldn’t put this book down. I can’t wait for more books in the future from this author.

Grace wants a chance to spread her wings. Family is important to her but can be a little stifling. Tyler has a job where boundaries are important. He believes in giving someone a little encouragement so that they can reach their potential.

This is an age-gap romance. It’s apparent due to the difference in their life experiences. Tyler already has a job where Grace is still preparing for the job she would like to achieve. The story touches on a sore subject for some, teacher and student relationships. But this is a little different since they are both consenting adults.

The author takes her story one step further by including Grace’s home life. It’s not a pretty life but it’s something that can seem all too real. Tyler also asks some real life questions that anyone might ask. But will you like the answers? Just remember that this is a work of fiction where anything is possible. But with the way the author writes, it will seem very real. Especially when tough decisions need to be made. One nice thing about romantic fiction is that most times the reader will get a happy ending and this author will not disappoint.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Sweet gorgeous heartbreaking

Tyler and Grace Wow hot, sweet, sexy, heartbreaking loved it. Been rewritten originally Always Sir and now Titled Tempting Teacher WOW

Sweet but one thing the shouldn't begin as she is his student, making it a Forbidden love.

How will they get through everything from Sweetness, loving and heartbreaking.

Keeping their relationship a secret after all the heartache and tragedy Grace goes through there is happiness for them but will there be more pain before they get their true happiness if they do.

This was an ok book for me. I like the teacher/student trope. Both are over 21 with an age gap. This book turned out to be a very naive, sweet fmc, raised in an abusive home ruled by her father. I feel like it lost the student/teacher feel with all the other issues that came to the forefront. The secret relationship between Emma & James fit the bill a little better. It was a good story, it just felt like too many other issues were added and I would have liked the focus to be on the illicit student/teacher relationship.

Professor/student, age-gap forbidden romance

The teacher/student trope is one of my favorites, and when done well it ça be great. Tyler is 29. He is a new physics professor at the College where Grace is a 21 year old senior. From the first glance both feel an attraction. Grace also deals with verbal and physical abuse at home. The story had a good premise, it was steamy, sad and hopeful. Good one

2.5 stars

I'm giving it 2.5 stars. It was a okay read considering. kind of stiff at times whenever they were speaking. there were a few errors. A chapter was labeled Grace whenever it was Tyler's POV. a few grammatical errors, words missing from sentences, things like that.
