A cute short story! I enjoyed the missing pet Pomeranian mystery. I loved how it’s owner pampered and spoiled it! I had a feeling I knew who was behind the dognapping, and I was correct. The story is a quick read, and I’m looking forward to the next story in the Curly Bay Animal Rescue series.

What a cute little story! Courtney begins the book by getting fired from the job that she has had for over s decade. Trying to make life changes she applies for a job in a pet rescue facility in a small community, where she is hired as the new manager. From there the storyline takes a turn into meyham on her first day when a Pomeranian disappears. Courtney eventually takes her excellent problem solving skills and everything turns out and the real culprits are identified. Just a delightful short novella length book.

A very cute missing dog case start to a new series! I felt so bad for poor Courtney having been let go from one job only to have a dog go missing on her watch in a brand new job. I was wrong about who was behind the theft, and it was interesting as it played out to a good ending. Just the perfect length book for when you need something fun and sweet to fill an hour or so! I'll be borrowing the next one too on KU soon!

Mom knows best!

I'm not the best at writing reviews, but at 76 I still love to read. Worse part is trying to write on this phone! (I'm very thankful for the hints or even I couldn't read this?) This was a really good short story, lots of thought went into the story line. Very clever how the young lady took her mother's advice, and solved the crisis. 'Ive always said, mom knows best!

This was a cute little book. When i git it in the mail i was surprised to see it was just over 100 pages. i had not noticed that when I ordered it. This book reminds me of what you would find at a highschool book fair. It reads like it is intended for teenagers and young adults, but it's enjoyable for any age. I'll likely continue the series, especially since I know one features a Pug.

I enjoyed this book. The characters are fun to read about, the plot is easily followed, and the premise is finding out who stole the very posh Pomeranian on the main character's first day. The answers were simple yet not easily found and the dog was found safe and sound. I definitely recommend this book and have found this author writes consistently good, fun stories.

Fun story

It was a fun, quick read. I liked the character’s wit and strength. Her mom would be a great character for another book, with wise and Godly advice. I’d read more by this author.

Very good book. This is the 2nd one I've read.Courtney didn't know anything about dogs and cats. But she is catching on. I think she will be a good manager.

Cute short book. A mystery but not a thriller; that’s how I like it. I knew who the thief was, but enjoyed the book anyway. I appreciated the ending in that everything worked out for the good.

Quirky

A fast read with plenty of humor and a story about pet rescues. It's a little bit quirky but, in a good way.

Very adorable story. I love dogs and cats and I can see how pampered a pet can be. Never guessed who had taken the dog and now he is helping at the shelter for his punishment. Great read Donna.

This is a cute short story. It’s a cozy mystery involving a missing dog, not a murder. Very refreshing. Clean with a couple of references to Christian faith.
