yeah so i finished the whole series in less than 24 hours. the next one ain't even out like ok? but uh anyways these were all so short but they were good I was very interested. anyways off to find a new book if. also if ur wondering whether or not to read this.. he calls her princess. that's all I'm saying;)
I read all five books back to back and will write a single review since the same problems occur in all of them.
The spelling and grammar errors - please, for the love of everything, edit and proof the books. Especially this one, that also had the names mixed up, missing words ect. It was sloppy.
As far as the story goes - it's interesting, but I'm still left wanting more. More depth, more growth, more plot...but it's just not happening. That also goes for back stories - what's the deal between Ryder and that bartender chick? What happened in the past - there's so much talk about past bullying, but we can't imagine a thing, since it was never presented to us. It leaves you wondering why so much "supposed hate and also love" between the main charaters.
The characters and the story as a whole - first of all, anybody who double dips is an a-hole. Beside that little annoying fact, I wish I felt more from the main characters - as individuals and as a duo.
All in all, 3 stars for each book and series as a whole. It was just alright.
Did I finish the series in a day? Yes. Were there things that I liked about the story? Absolutely! That being said though… I feel like the story lacked a lot more context/content since things were going on and there wasn’t much depth into what was going on. Also, the spelling had me going back to reread a lot. In the end, ended up having to try to make up how things were going in my head if they didn’t necessarily make sense on the page during the entire series. Not saying it to be mean, but it’s just my opinion. The story definitely has potential though.
So many spelling errors, words simply left out, characters get mixed up like should be talking about Ryder but would say Deano. If an editor reviewed this, they did an extremely poor job at it otherwise it would have been so much better. The editor failed you if you had one. Read all 5 books and each one had so many errors so I waited until I finished reading before doing my review and then there’s not even a book 6 to be found…
I will say this is my favorite one out of all 5 so far. I felt like more was happening here especially between Colby and Willow. It was nice to see that go down. I will say there was some spelling errors and Chapter 6 is Cosby's POV not Willows.
Unfortunately only 3 stars as enjoying the story but far too many spelling and grammar mistakes for a 5th book surely by now sowmone should be proof reading before publishing so it makes a more fluent read. Can't wait till the final instalment.
Finished all the books to realize the series finale isn’t out till December 30….smh 🤦🏻♀️ it’s entertaining somewhat and if you’re looking for quick read, go for it🫡
