IS THE AMERICAN DREAM STILL ALIVE?
THE STORIES IN THIS BOOK OFFER A RESOUNDING "YES!"

This collection of interviews with 50 successful immigrant entrepreneurs from all over the world provides proof that the American dream is not only alive and well, but thriving. Furthermore, these stories show the great wealth - financial and cultural - that immigrants can offer the United States.

This country was founded by immigrants who set off to make a better life for themselves. Similarly, many of these innovators left behind war-torn countries, failing economies, and political unrest to find financial and personal security for themselves and their families. Along with them, they brought the wisdom and insight of their cultures, the sobriety of their perspectives on life, and an unending passion for innovation and hard-work. On top of almost unanimously coming to the country without speaking the language, these enterprising business owners were jailed, took bullets, and overcame incurable diseases, all on their journey to becoming successful entrepreneurs. They hail from Mexico, Russia, Somalia, Afghanistan, China, Argentina, Lebanon, France, India, Kenya, Haiti, and several other countries, and they represent a wide swath of industries including healthcare, finance, cosmetics, fashion, food & beverage, technology and more.

Whether you're in need of motivation to start your own business, or you're wondering if the US is still a great place to do business, you'll find this book full of actionable and inspiring advice that will help save you time and money on your path to becoming an entrepreneur in America.

What an inspiring book based on real-life stories of people who have been through all that life has to offer, the high, the lows, the goods, the bad. People who were immigrants, who came from different corners of the world to the land of dreams, America, and worked hard into becoming the best entrepreneurs in their respective fields.
The writer Amine Rahal, wanted to document real-life inspirational stories of people who made America the land of dreams, so after getting support from various entrepreneurs, he compiled 50 best entrepreneurial journeys into a book called Immigrant Hustle: How 50 Entrepreneurs Came to America and Built Something Out of Nothing.
This book truly proves the point: That you are the creator of your own destiny. People who had everything, yet lacking the opportunities in their own country, people from war-affected countries who left their homeland to survive, people who wanted to pursue better education, people who wanted to break the stereotypes, people who did not believe in giving up on whatever life throws at them, all came to the land of opportunities, America, to make the world of their dreams. This book has different stories of the hardships and struggles that immigrants go through when they land in America, how their first concern is to Americanize their life in order to achieve their goals, how not talking in an American accent is one of the biggest issues they face in America. But even after all that these entrepreneurs went through, the final moment of achievement of “the American Dream” leaves a sense of satisfaction and victory in readers' minds, too.
Even though after facing all the high and lows their journey gave them, all these immigrants remained connected to their culture, their roots. Reading real-life stories about people from various parts of the world also takes us to different cultures and lifestyles of different countries. This book is definitely an example of that.
Words of Wisdom from each entrepreneur serve like the best advice that you will need to start your own business. The stories of resilience, never-giving-up attitude, ambition, perseverance, and success really motivate us in a very different way.
Anyone who wants to be the writer of their own destiny should definitely read the book. People who are looking for books about entrepreneurship in America should read this book to know about the first-hand experience of some entrepreneurs, their struggles, their advice. Even, people who love to read inspirational stories should definitely read this book as it has real-life stories of immigrants who are now the best entrepreneurs of America.
