I've said it before and I will say it again. Kristi really knows how to tell a tale.

Countdown Cafe - There is a reason why no-one else can see this cafe and why the barista knows what she wants and when she will arrive. If there is an afterlife, I would love it to be like this.

The Boy Who Wasn't There - Explores our emotions and what they can lead us to do both in this life and the next.

The Missing - I think we've all read and/or been told of the horror that awaits you in the woods at night. A cross between a dark version of Beauty and the Beast and Little Red Riding Hood.

The House on 6th Street - A really good, scary story for Halloween.

I love how, at the end of these stories, the author lets you know the inspiration behind them. It's amazing how the smallest (and sometimes the saddest) events can be the catalyst of an engrossing tale. Happy reading. Annemarie

4 short tales - I really enjoyed each one. I almost wish a couple of these were much longer. I was really into them and then they ended.
