I write horror and paranormal stories based on my vivid dreams. It's the best way that I know of to get the demons out and onto paper. I hope they haunt you and leave your heart pumping like they do me.
I established my first LLC. when I was ten years old. My friends were my first employees. Other than sharing my stories with others, I love making videos on YouTube. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth a million. I've directed two movies so far. You can find them on YouTube at Super Plus Toys.
Outside of writing, I spend most of my time playing guitar or golf. Travel is also high on my list of leisure activities. I've been to seven countries within Europe and plan to visit many more in the years to come. The richness of other cultures is thrilling!
I have a pet tarantula named Venom; a dog named Emma; and cat named Ellie. They are my secret confidants to the mysterious worlds I create. I have both an American and Danish passport. Feel free to ask me more about my Polish heritage.
Some other things I enjoy are rock n' roll, public speaking, broccoli (I know, isn't that weird!), school, and heart-wrenching horror movies that leave me clinging to the seat. While I love learning, I dislike homework, disrespectful and rude people, senseless drama, and bullies. There is no room for hatred. We only have one life to live; let's do it to the best that we can and treat everyone with love and kindness.

Every time I read a book by this author I end up being disappointed… why? Because of all the accolades he has received and the great joy he has in reminding the reader by listing them out at the end. Is he a good writer? Decent, but not great. Take this book for example… fun likable characters, a solid worldbuilding, interesting storyline. So,, you ask, what’s wrong? The main issue is all the shortcuts he uses. A great writer wouldnt use them, but this author does. To tell the truth, that’s on me, I expect too much from him. The shortcuts are 1) magic always comes way too easy, and is simple to use , in fact taking a couple pages to learn the basics and then, boom, anything can be done. 2) there are special people that show up and know some secret that they won’t tell the MC. Why? To add drama, even though it’s stupid. 3) someone that doesn’t know of the magical world finds out and suddenly is fine with it all even though they thought it was crazy beforehand. This happens WAY too fast 4) prophecy…. Always prophecy that the MC is the chosen one and once she has her power she will be able to win against any opposition. In one book that is okay, maybe in 2, but to have these shortcuts in every book gets old. It’s time to sit down and write something original, to think of real ways solving of problems, to make it a slog o get to the goal. This book is not that.

She’s the savior? Mira lost her parents when she was a teenager and has lived with her grandmother for the past six years. They have been poor and sometimes didn’t have much to eat, and now her grandmother is dying and they are about to lose their house. And something is happening to Mira. A strange man shows up and tells her she is a lion shifter and is the leader who will remove the demons and bring peace, but only after a great war. Mira doesn’t know anything about this and is sure she doesn’t have the skills to be a leader. But he and another guardian say they have to awaken her magic. But how? And why did her family keep all of this a secret from her? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
There are technical problems with this book. The fmc, Mira, was on her way to an interview because she was in danger of losing her home if she didn’t ‘get a job badly’.
The evil Nurse Ratchett at the hospice is going to withhold pain meds if Mira “doesn’t pay”. Mira’s dying grandmother needs her to stay for 2 minutes so she can tell Mira something important that she didn’t tell Mira in the previous ever and the next words out of her mouth are akin to “how was your day? Tell me about school. Do you have a boyfriend?” Mira’s rich Uncle is still jealous of her dead mother. Mira couldn’t figure out how to charge her cell phone or make it from the hospital to her job interview, then makes a bunch of excuses that no one cares about.
After her parents die, Mira Alvarez goes to live with her Grandma Rita. They live in a rundown house and do not have much, but there is a lot of love. After her grandma goes to a hospice, Mira finds out she is a lion shifter. Not just any lion shifter but the Queen. She has to learn how to let her lioness out and needs to free her magic. Mira teams up with two Guardians, a witch, and a mage to get done what she needs to do. This story includes lots of action with fights between demons and the people with Mira. Highly recommended.

When Mira reached her twentifirst birthday and as her grandmother lay dying without the ability to tell her her secrets, Mira’s dysfunctional and fighting family’s secrets were about to slowly be revealed to her. Mira began changing and meeting strangers that made her feel things she didn’t understand. As Ethan, Noah, Remi and Finn came into Mira’s life their exciting and interesting journey led them through a deadly battle with demons and other other creatures while Mira unleashed the powers and her past memories returned and they prepared for the war ahead. Fun read

I loved this book! The concept and altogether different take on all things supernatural was amazing. The world building was fantastic with all the details and vivid descriptions. Of course the characters were the same. I could picture the scenes as if they were happening in front of me!!
Because I received this an ARC copy, I truly hope the author does a complete overhaul with the editing!! There were so many errors contained in this book. As long as the author takes care of that I cannot speak highly enough about this book. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series!!

I found this book absolutely amazing except for the fact it is labeled as romance however, book one doesn't have any romance, so I am assuming it is a slow burn.
All in all, it had a really great storyline, but the editing does need some work in the book. But since I did enjoy the book so much, I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an insanely unique story about lion shifters. This is something I would have never expected in a shifter book. My imagination made everything look really cool when I envisioned everything happening in the book.
As I started to read this story, I found myself getting lost in it. Mira knew nothing of her true self. She quickly starts to become who she is meant to be with the help of her protectors and friends. When the last sentence was read, I felt bereft. Then I saw the preview for book 2. The authors, Adam and Matthew, have such a way with words. They pull you into the story as if you are Mira yourself. I sincerely hope that there will be many more books in this series.

Was delighted to get this into my hands. Magic is back but the consequences could be deadly to some. Mira gets shown some things she finds mind boggling. Seeing though time is of the essence she has to learn quick about her shifting and Guardian ancestor has to impart. It also happens to be of the utmost importance too. She also has to make some important decisions. Lives hang in the balance which makes us sit up and take in all the details. What a ride so far.
Awaken by Adam Dark is a wonderful story that I have loved reading. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new series that I am so hooked on and can not wait to read the rest. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about lion shifter, magic, fantasy and paranormal romance.

Mira lives with her Grandmother Rita who is now in hospice. She misses a job interview, is about to be evicted from the family home, her relatives don't get along. Then she meets her guardians who inform her she is a lion shifter with magic. What else can happen? Join in the easy to read adventure with plenty of action! Love the first in the series Uniting the Clans!

The book would have been way better if they actually proof read it. All the spelling and the wrong words being used in the book made if very difficult to read. It wasn't just a few here and there it was through out the whole book. I'm not even sure I want to read the rest if the series because if it.
I really like this story and how different it is. Mira is collecting a small force of misfits. Together they are becoming unstoppable, I can’t wait to see what happens next with Mira, Ethan, Noah, Remi and Finn will they add more?
Amazing characters and storyline. Mira’s story will have you turning pages and wanting more. I really enjoyed this read and can not wait for the next book.

It could have been better. I mean who proof read it a 2 year old? So many simple proof reading errors. It is like no one proof read it at all. That or their native language is not English. I gave it 3 stars for the storyline alone, which was great.
I really enjoyed the story. But it became frustrating at times. Many errors. It took me a while to get through it. I would have given it a higher rating had it flowed better.

The story line was ok but not flowing easily. Too many spelling errors and punctuation errors. Especially for such renown and touted authors as in their bios. I was disappoint more than entertained. Too many holes in the story line also.
Thank you so much for the authors and Booksprout for my review copy!
I was instantly attracted to the blurb of Awaken, as it seemed as it wouldn't fall for many shifter's clichés.
Mira, the main character, was interesting and relatable, but there were several times in which she was portrayied as a simpleton when it came to feminine aspects. A bit too forced, with several exclamation points that weren't necessary all the time.
Even though, the book was a solid 4 stars for me until the love triangle and the witch awakening Mira's powers. I'm not a huge fan of love triangles, so it ended up souring my cup of tea.
Still, a really good read for lovers of shifters, mystery and action books!
