Things get heated in Peachwood as Clementine deals with a barn renovation gone wrong. A mischievous sprite is wreaking havoc and it's up to Clem and the gang to straighten everything out. Of course, this has to happen while Clem juggles her personal life and tries to get to know her grandparents. Can she stop the sprite and clean up the town or will the sprite win?
Hey, I’m Amy, I write books for folks who crave laugh-out-loud paranormal mysteries. I help bring humor into readers’ lives. I’ve got a Pharm D in pharmacy, a BA in Creative Writing and a Masters in Life. And when I’m not writing or chasing around two small children (one of which is four going on thirteen), I can be found antique shopping for a great deal, getting my roots touched up (because that’s an every four week job) and figuring out when I can get back to Disney World. If you’re dying to know more about my wacky life, here are three things you don’t know about me. —In college I spent a semester at Marvel Comics working in the X-Men office. —I worked at Carnegie Hall. —I grew up in a barbecue restaurant—literally. My parents owned one. If you want to reach out to me—and I love to hear from readers—you can email me at amyboylesauthor@gmail.com. Happy reading!
Clem is discovering a couple of new things about the magical world! Between what's in the barn at her new job and a paranormal killer or two, she may not survive her discoveries. The mystery is entertaining and composed nicely, and the double twist is a surprise that has potential for future stories. The core characters are engaging (with the seniors providing wacky distraction), but Rufus is in danger of becoming rather pallid with this sudden diffidence. This series still continues to enchant!
Clem and the gang are back with gusto. Another mystery dropped in her lap, Clem is working on a barn bewitching while trying to complete a design and remodel for Rance the new neighbor across the street from her. However, with these witches and the town nothing as ever as it seems or goes as plans. Bodies start turning up drained completely of their blood through can't marks in the neck. Vampires? Oh no it can't, Clem doesn't believe it until one night Lady wakes her saying she smells blood and they must investigate it. Same great characters, funny addition to the storyline. I enjoyed this book. I recommend it and am edited for the next in series.
Another hilarious romp with Clem and Rufus...and some vampires. I really enjoyed the mystery in this one, although I figured it out quite early, I still second guessed myself several times. I found the romantic scenes a bit awkward and unrealistic, however, since with Clem being an adult, it was a bit childish for her to worry so much about sleeping over at her boyfriend's house, especially if they were in separate rooms. You can certainly stay at the other person's house without being fully intimate, if you are wanting to wait until marriage. And then with the turnaround by the end of the book where Clem is wondering if she wants to go "finally break the seal" with Rufus...it's all just a little conflicting and confusing.
This is an entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. This series is a spinoff from another one of this authors Siri‘s. Clementine is a young witch who owns a barn restoration business. She goes around converting old barns into homes and restoring other homes to their past Torrey. Her boyfriend Rufus used to be a bad guy but is now a good person. Each book has a new mystery of Clementine and her friends to solve. Read on and find out what happens in this one and see who did it how and why. Enjoy
I have always loved this series, the characters are fun and quirky and I always love some humor but that being said Clem is fast heading into the “I’m an independent woman so let me do dumb things” territory which is a showstopper for me. I love the new Rufus and some of this is tending to make him seem chauvinistic. Please don’t head down that path Amy. He just just got his feet under him. Will see where the next book leads?!?
How can you fight fear, fear of people who a different than you? Talk to them, spend time within to see if you have anything in common, be a good neighbor. Saving someone's life helps too. You never know when the one you fear most can be the the one who refuses you, keep an open mind and heart.
I love the fresh, new storyline with relatable & quirky characters, tho sometimes I'd like to shake the H/H by their necks sometimes! However I totally recommend Barn Bewitchment to all fans of fiction and I look forward to more stories coming! ** So happy I found them in my Kindle Unlimited Trial subscription :)
Amy Boyles does it again. She keeps me interested and not wanting to put the book down. In this book Clementine is doing a barn but it's supposed to be haunted and drives people crazy. She decides to do it anyway then she finds a body. She investigates and ends up arrested. I loved this book.
The mc still makes her sleuthing guesses on impulse and not instinct tempered with caution and reason. As a result, she screws it up several times before you find out the real answer (even though anyone could peg it). As a plot device to make the book longer, it’s weak. I was willing to stick it out, but she’s not growing, learning.
I liked how they kept you on your toes wondering what was going to happen next. There was innuendo about maybe sex, but it didn't get carried away with pages of sex. Sometimes I feel there's books out there that talk to much about sex you loose track of the store. My thanks to this author.
I love this series! Clem, Malene, Willard, Rufus and all the rest of the characters are great. I love that we get to see Rufus in a whole new light. There is mystery and funny things happen along the way. Really enjoy reading!
Love, Love, Love the entire series... it's a great book to take your mind off of all the things happening in the world. Turn off the tv and turn on this series... cheer for the characters in this series...
I appreciate that Amy Boyles publishes books in her series so quickly yet the editing is always perfect. This book was especially fun and the tunnel of shame was a unique hilarious idea.
A bewitched barn? A carpenter disappears while doing renovations on the barn . Clem is hired to complete his work. What follows is a strange tale of witches, warlocks and vampires.
Things get grim for Clem and crew with a trapped spirit, redneck hatred, and a vampire. Renovation takes a back seat to sleuthing and magic. This book is probably the scariest of the series so far; no glittery vampires here, just monsters.
Barn Be witch ment (Magical Renovation Mysteries book 5
This was another winner. I highly recommend all her books and different series she writes great paranormal mysteries. She has a great cast of characters and writes great mysteries. Diana Romano
I am suprised they introduced a vampire. The is some crossover with sweet tea witches in the sense that they have 1 character. He is good in this book. They have spells they look for a they don't in sweet tea witches.

Fun series with a paranormal theme. The plot and subplots move quickly and the conversations flow naturally. I can’t wait to see Clem and Rufus in the next book!
