Being forced to spend Christmas away from home isn’t Raffaele Buonarroti’s idea of a good time. Until he literally bumps into Sarah Jameson and suddenly, Christmas is looking up. But how will he get more with her than the few days he’ll be in the States? Sarah is a divorced mother of three, still friends with her ex, and finally ready to date again. But is she ready for Raffaele? After all, he’s from a whole other continent, and they’ll just be together for the holidays. And he’s her ex’s friend, which could get awkward. Should Rafe and Sarah try for more than Christmas together?
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are so well written and the dialogue moves the story along at just the right pace. Since I know divorced couples who've remained friends for their kids, that plot element was a nice touch rather than warring exes. They are a mature couple but still having typical doubts about trying to have a relationship and build on it. Steamy sex and very believable plot. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to others from Ms. Bond.
Loved this story! Loved Rafe and Sarah and their connection at first sight. Loved that Dan actually started their whole relationship with his blessings and their, Dan and Sarah’s, children wanted her happiness and they all continued to be a close knit family. Sarah is finally finding a love of a lifetime especially since her 20 year marriage to Dan he was longing for someone else with a name that was pronounced similar to Sarah’s.
That was my one subtraction. It was too much real life for me, although it was realistic, the ex-spouse who's the best friend, and dating his old college friend and children long distance---wow. Very real nature adult complications. Good tale
This is my first book by Ms. Bond. Rafe and Sarah are an amazing, mature and sexy couple. It is not often that you find a book where all of the elements come together. I love how they met at first by accident and then by design....they were absolutely fated to meet. The epilogue was awesome and tied their complicated love story together perfectly! https://theretiredreader.com/f/his-ch...
