Aside from that cringe-worthy first story about "BTX" and "FlipFlop", the collection is good! I've read a bunch of Archie digests and this had some great classics reprinted, as well as a healthy dose of stories you never see too often in the big collected editions. I like that they mixed in some Josie as well instead of focusing on only Betty and Veronica. This digest isn't a greatest hits must-read collection, but it's par for the course.

Classic Betty & Veronica

Classic Betty and Veronica rivalry for Archie, but we also see their friendship. Also includes Josie and the pussycats. Cheryl Blossom makes an appearance in a few stories as well.

I've never read an Archie comic so I didn't really have high expectations. The art is great, and I really did enjoy the start of this compilation of the two girls, but after that there was just a jumble of basic boy craziness. I guess these girls have no lives outside of Archie?
