I was really curious when I first saw a story where the gender of Kagome and Sesshoumaru was inversed. And Forthright didn't disappoint: the characters development is so realistic I couldn't imagine them being different in any way.
Shessoume's struggles against her place both in the youkai society and as wife to who she first see as an insignificant man finally lead her to rethink her view of what truly matters.
I really liked this story, and it got me thinking about the influence our culture has on our character.
