Clumsy

Rate this book
She was the most sought-after demoness at court, but no suitor could conquer her. He was only trying to feed his family when his stray arrow felled a mythical beast. A kind-hearted man. A fierce lady. A romance told in bits and pieces. Alternate Universe. [Genderbent Sesshoumaru x Kagome]

Disclaimer: Clumsy is an InuYasha fanfiction. I don’t profit from this story, but fandom friends can still get credit for reading it. ::twinkle::
Author Note: Playing around. I wanted to see if Sesshoumaru and Kagome could stay true to themselves while changing something as basic as gender.

I was really curious when I first saw a story where the gender of Kagome and Sesshoumaru was inversed. And Forthright didn't disappoint: the characters development is so realistic I couldn't imagine them being different in any way.
Shessoume's struggles against her place both in the youkai society and as wife to who she first see as an insignificant man finally lead her to rethink her view of what truly matters.
I really liked this story, and it got me thinking about the influence our culture has on our character.

Sesshoumaru as a disgruntled woman? It's amazing how well he fits that role.
