USA Today Bestselling Author Naomi Springthorp is a born and raised Southern California girl. She's a baseball freak who supports her team all season long and blatantly admires the athletes in those pants. Music has always been part of her life and she believes everything has a soundtrack. She loves her two feline fur babies, though they're not quite sure what to do with her.
She writes Baseball Romance, Romantic Comedies, 90s Throwback, and Contemporary Romance--all with heat and sometimes a little sweet.
What a cute novella about second chances! While it was extremely short, it sure packed a punch! I really liked the tension between Willow and Ezra! You could just feel their history palpitating through their brief encounters.
Life was a Miracle - DC Renee
Loved the premise of this story and the cohesion of the band. The new girl who turned their world upside down was sweet and she fit perfectly into the folds of the group. I really enjoyed the slow burn of the relationship between Lars and Ariela. Their love was built on such a solid foundation, even at the young age of 17. This story was adorable and I loved the flash forward to their happily ever after.
This review is for Life was a Miracle by DC Renee.
Ariela has to deal with so much change when she moves and starts a new school. When she meets the mean girls Lorena and Lars step in to save her. It starts a great friendship between all of them. As Ariela and Lars navigate school and the band life they grow closer. Who will make the first move? Will their love last?
This read was the right amount of romance and just enough angst sprinkled in. There was a twist that had my heart beating a little faster.
One of the stories I read in this book was, 'Who You Used To Be' by Jillian Liota. Set in JL's Glendale college world(The Keeper and Keep Away). This was a short, quick story of Willow and Ezra. They have a meaningful past in high school, but Ezra pretty much crushed her heart when they were in college. Involuntarily forced to work together for a class project, will they both put everything out in the open and move on?
I really enjoyed this story, the only complaint is that it was toooooooo short! I would've lovvved to read more!!!!
This review is for Stupid Boy by Naomi Springthrop
Another amazing story from Naomi. It drew me in from the beginning and had me remembering my childhood & teenage years all the way through.
Ana & Tony have a uniquie relationship and while Ana wishes Tony would just forget about her that just won't happen. I kept waiting to see what was gonna happen next as it was something new around every corner, so to speak lol.
Really sweet romance of second chances and forgiveness. Willow and Ezra were close in high school. College happened and priorities were skewed. It's hard trying to focus when so many things are needing your attention. Willow was heartbroken, but accepted it as how things are. Now Ezra is back. Has he seen the error of his ways? Is forgiveness an option? Need more!! I was given the opportunity to read a copy of this book.
Stupid Boy by Naomi Springthorp had me engrossed from beginning to end. I kept flipping the pages to read what would happen next. I enjoyed Ana & Tony’s story and loved their characters. A great story and one I highly recommend.
Each book in this collection is entertaining, enjoyable, and there’s a story to fit any mood. I recommend you read it for yourself you won’t regret it.
One of the stories in this book is 'Who you used to be' by Jillian Liota. It was a quick read but a great read! If this story is as good as the rest of the stories in the book then I'd say this is a five-star book!
Read Who you Used to Be by Jillian Liota. I am a sucker for Second Chance Romance 💜 I’m a hopeless romantic by heart 💜 I easily fall in love with this type of genre, so I’m bias to this. However this is my first read of Jillian and it definitely won’t be the last.
“Who You Used To Be” by Jillian Liota is a rage of emotions between Ezra and Willow where old feelings fester. A fantastic story of second chances between young love. My only complaint is I need more!
🖤 Book review of Who you used to be by @jillianliota 🖤
As I am very lucky to be on Jillians ARC team I got the short story she shares in this book. What a treat and something you can easily read in a coffee break.
What a great little short story, easy to read with 2 lovely main characters. I always adore Jillians writing and this doesn't disappoint.
🖤 Sports 🖤 Second chance 🖤 College romance
This short story is based at Glendale College, the same world of her other two books called Keeper and Keep Away so if you love this short story then definitely go grab those two.
I was given this ARC in return for an honest review.
