My review:
Have you ever assumed a morning where you wake up in a different world?
Well! I have very often.

And same goes on with the protagonist of this book. When an orphan boy in a fine morning wakes up and find himself in a very different world. Where he discovers that his destiny was more than being a miserable boy who had lost his parents at an early age.

He wakes up in a kingdom named Dandelion, where young boys and girls are invited to fight in the army against the Dark Knights. Ivan is gonna be in that army fighting against the ferocious enemies. Until he finds out what is hidden in depth of the kingdom. And here begins the journey to solve a mystery that Ivan tries to unravel along with his 12 years old mates.

Seems tempting. Right?
Well, it is.

I was so excited to read this book just by looking at its cover. I hope you find it fascinating too.😉

The only thing which made me reduce one star from it is its writing errors. There is plenty of room for editing the book. I found some grammatical mistakes in the book.

Overall to sum up this book in a conclusion. I would say that if you wanna experience a world full of mysteries and chaos. Then my friend you need to pick this book up.

This is my first book on magical realism as an adult. The book was very picturesque. I was feeling as I was traveling through the book. The description was vivid and smooth. It tells the story of an orphan boy named Ivan. He ventured into the Kingdom of Dreams in Dandelion. There were Argans, an army to fight dark knights named Zagans. Zagans were evil therefore, Argans used to invite people to eradicate Zagans. There are so many questions that arose while reading and all the questions were answered in the end. I was anxious to know whether Ivan would come out of the Kingdom and I was happy to read the end. The page is gripping and full of magic, fantasies, mysteries, and adventure. The characters were well-plotted, the description was to the point and not at all dragging. It was surely a page-turner. I couldn't stop reading till I found out why the army was created in the first place and what was Ivan's role being an orphan who had a hard life. I was astonished to find that the book was written by an 18-year old girl. The imaginations were so raw and abundant. It's a great book that gives the jitters of The Alice in Wonderland. It's a must-read for all adventure lovers.

A mystical thriller revolving around a 12 years old orphan child.
The story is as beautiful as its wonderfully designed cover. It would have been great if I was turning real pages rather than the ebook. It's my experience, the best way to read a fantasy book is by holding a real book so that you go with pages.

With its striking and smooth portrayal, you will be travelling, dreaming and living a mysterious life with the author's imagination.
And its deep detailing will make you imagine everything happening right in front of you As if you are travelling with Ivan.

If you are the one keeping fantasy books by your side, I believe it is for you.

Review

I love fantasy fiction and this one gave me an amazing experience and gave me some deja vu of Harry Potter and I am not comparing it but I felt like it's is inspired from it but the story is quite different from that and is very interesting and intriguing at the same time.

It gives a different feeling to dream as the character in the book sleep in the night and he wakes up in a kingdom which he thinks is a dream but it is not and he addressed as Caspian sometimes.

The story is marvellous no doubt but I felt some chapters were lengthy and it could have better to be short and to the point, I adored the style of narration of the author and the language is lucid.

I will recommend this book to those readers who love to read fantasy fiction books and the world where magic is everywhere and friendship is meant to be a life long relationship without any motive behind it I meant to say pure friendship.

I loved the story of the book and will love to read more in future as I believe this one will get a sequel as it is an amazing world.

Glimpse In a Blink

Ivan is eleven years old boy living in an orphanage as he has no one whom he can say family and this part of truth hurts him more than anything but he can't do anything about is he, but he has an old Mrs Merryweather who listens to him when he tells her what he sees in his dream sometimes.

He doesn't have many clothes to wear and some he had is torn and have holes in most part but he is happy with it and one day he slept after having dinner and he wakes in a world where he won't know anyone and everyone knows him and when he sees himself he couldn't believe that he is what he is looking.

The Guardian tells him that he knows him and later he is in a school and is new admission and a first-year student and where he meets some new friends who made him feel like he has someone whom he can rely on but he is still not aware of what he is going in the Kingdom.

An evil is rising to end the Kingdom and fill the darkness in the whole kingdom and Ivan and his six friends get a clue accidentally and they try to find the clue little did know that they are doing a work which has been said in a prophecy many- many years ago.

To know more go grab this book and start reading the whole book I can guarantee you, you will love it.

Happy reading and keep inspiring others to read.

Book: Argans, the Dream Knightss
Author: Swati Nair
Genre: Action & Adventure
Format: Kindle

Rating: 4/5

This is the story of Ivan , who lives lonely in an orphanage with no one to love him. One day he gets up from his sleep and finds himself in a different world. It seems the people in that world already know him. He is introduced to other boys and girls of his age , who are part of an army fighting against Zagans, the rival of Kingdom of Dreams. What happens next, grab a copy of book to know more.
The way the story begins. Oh My God! It really gripped my attention . I kept wondering what is happening. Then in the next chapter the scene just changes and it shows a twelve year old boy, Ivan, who is in a orphanage, where no one loves him and he hears different voices and talks to different people in the dream. This all leaves him a little confused. The way his condition is described , I really felt like either getting into the book or taking him out of the book and hugging him. I must say the author really made me emotional from the very beginning.
The Language is neither easy nor tough, it lies somewhere in between. The writing style is such which keeps the reader wondering and intrigued. The narrations are vivid. The detailing is deep. I could imagine everything happening right in front of me. The cover page is really beautiful and the choice of colors. Images, format, font is really captivating . The Title is equally good resonating with the theme of the story.
If you really like action, adventure, magical realism , then you would definitely love this book. I really look forward to read more from the author.

Fantasy book at it's best

Definitely a 5 star book, Fantasy books require alot of hardwire in terms of stimulating ones creativity. This book is absolutely top notch in that.

The story in the beginning seems like most fantasy novels about a child in an orphanage, but in fact the creativity started the the first chapter itself, the names of characters, places and the descriptions were amazing.

Ivan an 11 year old orphan boy stumbles into Dandelion, the kingdom of dreams and there an army of formed of the Argans to fight the Zagans. 7 friends including Ivan however stumble across a secret which may help them in their fight.

Does Ivan get back in the real world? Do the Argans win the war? How does Ivan help the Argans? Is it all a dream?

Do read this Superb book filled with adventure, lots of adrenaline rush at some chapters, it's also shows the love, friendship and bonding among friends, it definitely has a very mystical touch to it.

I haven't read a better fantasy book by an Indian author, she has definitely dedicated alot of time and effort for this book and I feel readers can definitely see it by the end of the book.

Full points to the cover and the title of the book too.

Language is very simple and definitely easy to understand and the pace is excellent, neither a rushed paced nor very slow.

I absolutely loved this book and will recommend it to everyone.

Argans - The Dream Knights is the story of Ivan, who is a twelve year old orphan boy living at White Bridge Children's home. He has nobody to call a family and no friends. One night as Ivan sleeps he gets astonished as he wakes up at a strange place, one he had never visited before and as he sees people he has never met before but they seem to know him. Ivan soon finds out this place is Dandelion - the kingdom of Dreams.

In Dandelion, Ivan gets what he always longed for - a sense of belonging - friends who are like family and he gets to live his destiny.

The book is magical, mystical and fantastical. It has element of adventure as Ivan and his friends find out the prophecy, looking for fountains and the verses. It has strong well developed characters with awesome sounding names. It has a perfectly developed plot and a nice climax.

The idea of Dandelion and everything in it is very well conceived and very well developed. Though I could draw some parallels between the palace and Hogwarts, most things were original and unique. The writing style is lucid and holds attention. The elements of magic or the fantasy elements are very nicely written and intricately embedded into the story telling.

The book revolves around Ivan, 11 turning 12 year old orphan living with seven other boys in White Bridge Children's Home. He is a cute little boy who loves reading story books and collecting random things. I loved Ivan. His life in the orphanage is not easy and my heart aches for him 😭
One night he sleeps and when he wakes, he is in a different magical world - Dandelion, the kingdom of dreams (this name is really cute ! ) . The kingdom invites young boys and girls to be an Argan in their army to fight against the evil Zagans (dark knights). However Ivan and his friends in this magical , dark kingdom ends up upon a deep buried secret which changes everything. Read this epic adventure to find out what that secret is and what happens next !

I really liked the book. It's a fantasy story full of magic, with adventures and plenty of mystery . The world of Dandelion is beautiful and described vividly . It makes me want to go and live there. The book is engrossing . It's emotional and teaches the value of friendship.
Writing is deep and easy to understand.
It's a good read for people of all ages.
It got a little bit boring for me but I don't think that will be the case for everyone. Other than that, I enjoyed the mystery and magic.
I can't be done with my review without praising that gorgeous cover !

Argans: The Dream Knights - Swathi Nair

My Perspective:
Imagine sleeping after a normal day just to wake up in a different world, sounds great, right? This is what happens to the main protagonist in this story and the adventure begins. This is an exciting read that would make you bite nails in thinking about what will happen next.

About the Book:
The book has a beautiful dark cover with a castle background and a warrior on the horse and a shadow of one man with open arms. The blue sky with bright stars is a mesmerizing beauty.

About the Story:
The story is about the protagonist- a twelve-year-old boy, Ivan. one night he sleeps and wakes up in a different world where he is needed to fight for his kingdom. But, he isn’t alone in this, there are more. Out of all of them, seven young boys come across a secret, something hidden for ages from the millennials that can save the kingdom he is fighting for and set him free from the dream. Is this just a dream, why is he involved in it, how is it related to him is something you can know from this book in detail.

About the Author:
This is the debut book of the author, Swathi Nair is a BA economics student who is an ardent reader since she was in class 9. She loved to read fantasy stories but never thought one day she would become an author too. She has already set an idea for her upcoming books as well.

Ivan

Story starts with Ivan an orphan living in an orphanage knows as White Bridge Children’s Home where no one talks to him except for an old care taker Alice Merryweather. However the caretaker was not much of helpful to Ivan, he just requested Alice Merryweather to address him as "my boy" once like mother's do but instead Alice Merryweather gave him the title of "no one's boy" and this made Ivan jealous of child who have anyone to call as mine . Between all this struggles Ivan found a mirror the mirror gave an ache in his heart and he started hearing voices. So is this an magical mirror? Will this will Improve Ivan' life or make more Worst?

Character of Ivan is crafted well especially his tiny wish to visit mountain he admire every morning is heart touching . The appreciation is thatstorys have unique twist and turns which are maintainable by 11 year old and kept reader completely engrossed. Language is easy to understand and connecting making read of approximately 3 hrs. Supporting characters like Wilfreda Silverlance, Alice Merryweather, Kasper etc are build well. Cover is beautiful and intriguing.

A line from the book

Argan-The dream knights

By Swati Nair

Many of us have seen “Harry Potter Series” and “Aabra ka Dabra” where a parallel world has been represented. Here, is the book ‘Argans: The Dream knights’ by ‘Swathi Nair’ which is set in a real world, a place near Himalayas but a retrospective look of the town like it is set in England. Ivan the main protagonist of the story is an orphan, lives in an orphanage where he is not treated well. There’s another character Mrs. Merryweather who cares for Ivan. Ivan suffers through an abnormality of seeing a supernatural dream which makes him to suffers from anxiety, sorrow and keep on thinking what’s going on with him. He has a mountain of questions but there is no one on his side from whom he can get answers.

This is from where author has developed the story taking Ivan from the real world to the world of dreams ‘Dandelion’, where she has developed many more characters and a kingdom as well which is going to face a catastrophe from 'Zagan'

What readers may find is that an Orphan, who desperately needed to be loved, all the spells, supernatural elements, revenge, a warrior, friendship, care and many more which makes it a fantastic read for the audience those who want to explore more of fantasy Literature.

The story revolves around Our Main progonist, Ivan. Ivan is an orphan living in a White Bridge named orphanage and likes to dream. His life changes when one morning his found himself in a Dream World: Dandelion.

Ivan joins the Argan trainees program of the Dandelion. He is trying to find why he is in Dandelion and how he reached there. Ivan finds out he is a Caspian; someone who leaves the life lived before in Dandelion and merge with this real self. In Dandelion Ivan finds the friendship and love he has been searching all his life. The story is a tale about his adventures and how he and his merry band of friends save the Dandelion.

The story is a mix of fantasy and science fiction. It has everything from potion to witchcraft, weaponry, celestical events, magic spells, prophecies, friendship, a puzzle heist and an unique game of Hamelon.

Author has beautifully penned downed the story. The narration of the story is so artistic, it hardly felt like written by a 18 years old. Who doesn't love a good fantasy which can transport in to a different world full of magic and hope, irrespective of whether you are an adult or a kid, this book provides exactly that escape.

I really hope the author writes the next part soon and it isn't a standalone book.

Argans the Dream Knights is a fantasy novel about a boy named Ivan who lives in an orphanage. Ivan is only 12 years old. One night he goes to sleep and wakes up somewhere else among people he does not recognize. However, everyone knows and recognizes him.

In the beginning Ivan is confused but he soon finds out what is happening by asking questions.
The entire book is written in simple English and the style of narration is commendable. The book is great for children and adults alike.

The book contains detailed illustrations of every aspect of the Dream World. The clocks are described as different colours of liquid. The months too have different names. Some fictional combat moves too have been explained with their fictional names.

I truly enjoyed reading this book. It took me to a whole new world.
All the characters were introduced well and the climax of the book too was great. The author provided a satisfactory conclusion to the story without leaving the readers hanging or guessing.

The book is very long above 200 pages. It was an enjoyable and fun read. I am eagerly waiting for the next book in the series.

☘BOOK NAME:- ARGAN -
THE DREAM KNIGHTS
☘AUTHOR- SWATHI NAIR
☘GENRE-FANTASY FICTION

🎟A literary work which is set in an imaginative world where lots of supernatural elements are present without any trace of realism but the characters are somehow related to real world just like in the book ‘Argans: The Dreams Knight’ by ‘Swathi Nair’.

🎟Ivan, an orphan boy, often lives in his dream, wakes up in the lands of dreams; Dandelion where he is termed as Caspian unlike other Vasmians and he has a special power other than Vasmians. It’s a story of Ivan, the protagonist of story from an orphan to Argans, the dreams Knight. The kingdom is on the verge of being attacked by Trislgans, the dark power, who are much stronger and can swipe up the whole kingdom. Argans being trained for that particular fight in order to save.
Author has beautifully woven the entire fictional story, with developed characters and an engrossing plot which intrigues the readers to go with the flow. The title is apt as the main theme of the story is the Knights to be made for the fight.
Highly recommended to those who loves fantasy literature and loves to wonder in a magic, spells surroundings.

The most astounding thing to me is, this is the First book of author her imagination is most brilliant

I’m a huge "Harry Potter" fan. I’ve never thought that any book would engage and mesmerize me like HP Series
but this proved me wrong.

A good level of satisfaction you can achieve after reading this book.
A new world of warcraft and entertain can be seen here in the plot.

you can really feel many sentences by heart among "friends, friendship"."kasper made me feel like that once, not only him
there are many, but this, by Kasper is most of all"

ON WHOLE: It is an interesting adventures story revolves around lot of fantasy in the life of a young boy(IVAN).
It's a composition of mystery , hallucination and lots of unreal and unnatural stuffs.

It will definetly take you to new World(Ariana).
The narration is so gripping that it kept me glued to the story till the end. The theme is wonderful and the plot is intricately woven.

overall I enjoyed reading the book. Thanks for the great read and keep writing more!

" Argans: The Dream Knights" is the debut book by the author Swathi Nair. It is an interesting story of a young boy. One day he wake up in a magical world, Dandelion. Discover this tale filled with adventures, fantasy, magic, mystery, and above all, the essence of friendship.

I enjoyed the read. This book is like a cartoon. The narration and characterization is good. I love the book cover. It catch the attention of readers. And also the tittle is great. The explanations about every events are really nice.

The one drawback in this book is the poor quality of grammar. It could have been more better and need lot of works in it. The plot is amazing but without good grammar no one will get a good impression about the book.

Overall a good attempt. I recommend this to all the readers. If you are a fantasy lover, then check out this book now.

Argan is a fantasy novel that tells us the story of 12-year-old Ivan, who, for some mysterious reason, ends up in a dream world all of a sudden. There, children like Ivan are made to join the army and become an Argan to fight Zagans, the dark knights. The story follows Ivan’s adventure in Dandelion (the dream world). Now enough about the story. I am not going to spoil the rest of it.

What blew my mind open was that this amazing fantasy novel was written by an 18-year-old girl. The amount of imagination and creativity it must have taken to write such a detailed book is just astonishing. Someone who also is of the same age as the author, I can say that this is not normal for any young person to do. I too have tried writing books but I am not that inventive, my creativity and imagination are not that great to write such amazing and detailed books.

I can’t wait to see what other stories this young and amazing author has hidden in her sleeve.

Everyone of us have dreamt of becoming a superhero once in our lives. Imagine you wake up one morning only to find yourself in a world where you are the savior. As a teenager, we have had our own narratives of our imaginary world, but only a few can weave that imagination into a story.

This is the story of Ivan. One morning he woke up in a world where he is destined to save the people from misery. Ivan, being an orphanage, feels overwhelmed and at the same time confused on receiving this amount of honour and privilege. His queries were being answered to him in a slow pace. But is he only dreaming? Will he wake up again and this world will disappear?

This book is a wonderful story but it is a bit too long. Being a children's book, the plot should have been kept short. Language, although, is easy. Cover is alright. The best part is the imagination. This level of creativity comes from an 18 yo, it's amazing.

Now enough about the story. I am not going to spoil the rest of it.
What blew my mind open was that this amazing fantasy novel was written by an 18-year-old girl.

The book contains detailed illustrations of every aspect of the Dream World. The clocks are described as different colours of liquid. The months too, have different names. Some fictional combat moves too have been explained with their fictional names.

Argans by Swathi Nair
This one has all the staple elements of fantasy fiction. Orphan boy on a adventure into magical realms with known entities. Also some side kicks with main lead. And yet few pages in Argans felt different. It's characters were different. I really liked Dylan and Aiden. Whole plot was different than other books in the genre. And author executed it really well which didn't bore me at all. But I must say the main mvp of this book is it's setting. Book takes place in dream land and it does feel like dream. Ambiance of the dreamland is created beautifully by author. I liked whole Mount Everest as a part of setting it blended really well. Only after finishing it I found out that it is written by 18 year old and that just blew my mind. It is really wonderful book. Looking forward to reading more from the series.

The story starts from a boy Ivan 12-years-old, he went to sleep and wakes up at another world which was too hard to believe because it is full of adventure with magical mysterious.

Story is very realistic and lovable. It's just like I'm also in the world. Too thoughtful, I really enjoyed the story. A page turner that will keep your expecting and wanting for more. I would say the author was successful enough to grab the attention till the end.

Language is lucid and comprehensible. Title of the book is exactly apt and cover of the book is so creative. I would like to suggest this book for everyone. Happy reading...
