The dead have awakened. Driven by insatiable hunger. In eternal search of fresh meat. The infection spreads like the plague. Nothing stands between the undead and humanity. Is it too late to save the world from disaster?
I write stories about the apocalypse so that I don't need to work a real job. I grew up reading Stephen King and still haven't fully recovered. I'm currently ending the world in my new series Under the Breaking Sky.

I think this book was better than the first… It had some moments that I felt dragged a little but for the most part it kept me interested. I felt like the first one had so many POV’s it was a little confusing. But this one was not that bad.
And can I just say I LOVE that the zombies do not hurt animals!
Dan is awesome. He is by far my favorite.
One thing that is annoying is how naïve people are in this book. Maybe it is just me and I am hurt less.
I thought I did not like Brigit at first and though I might not agree with everything she did I would be the most like her. I do not care who you are. I would only care about myself and my son.
Eli (I think that was his name) that ratted out who the pilot was. I would have shot him in his head so damn quickly. I do not have time fuck that. NOPE. Then him hiding that he had a scratch and going on the helicopter proves my point. Believe who people are the first time they show you.
I got upset that Mellie (again I think that is how she spelled it) died but I loved how fierce and courageous she was.
I love this whole series. I started Cadaver at the same time and I just could not get into it the same as this one. Maybe after I am done with this series.
I love that it starts with voodoo.
At one point someone comments how if they were in America everyone would have guns. Jokes on them though because I live in Massachusetts and we have the strictest gun laws in the country lol
I am so glad I started this series and if you like Zombies than I think you will like it too.

This is the sequel to Dead Meat. The first book was great, the second could have been better but still great. Still completely unpredictable as to which main characters will survive but some cliche parts in zombies stories I was hoping to avoid in this book but still worth the read. Definitely moving on to the final book to finish this amazing story.
I do love this series! A great quick read for everyday that happens in this zombie apocalypse! A good selection of characters, always something slightly different in the ideas & situations. I also love that it is set in Denmark, makes a refreshing change! A really great read & I can't wait to read the next part!
Great book, with a feel for the people in each chapter. You feel for them and understand their fear as well as their protection fit those they love. A heat felt novel and I look forward to the next chapter
