Fractal stands on the edge of victory as the final phase of their plan begins. With all of her agents revealed at last, Dr. Yaras slides her remaining pieces into position in Washington, DC. Their mission will strike a blow to the United States so devastating that it could shift the global balance of power for a generation, maybe permanently. And there doesn’t seem to be anyone left with the power to stop them.
But there are a few people left who are going to try anyway.
Will Taylor has snuck aboard Gorya’s plane, and is determined to save his friends and find a way to stop Fractal’s plot once and for all. Maia Calderon is out for blood, and is hell-bent on rescuing her team and shutting down Fractal for good.
And there’s still one wild card that Dr. Yaras hasn’t accounted for. One that could bring her entire plan crashing down around her...
CURVE OF THE DRAGON is a riveting new spy series from debut author Matt Stokes. Episodic in nature, each of the four books tells a serialized part of a larger story. Inspired by the likes of James Bond, Mission: Impossible, and Alias, fans of espionage action and fast-paced thrillers will be right at home.
Matt Stokes grew up on a steady diet of James Bond movies and works with engineers every day, so the only real surprise here is that he didn't combine them sooner.
Curve of the Dragon is his first novel series, but he has previously written on multiple video games, including the WGA-nominated World in Conflict.
When he's not pitching devs crazy plot twists or devising new ways to torture Will Taylor, Matt can be found producing video games. As a producer, he has worked on installments of Gears of War and Fallout, and was part of the team that brought Shinji Mikami's The Evil Within to life. He was also the project director on the absolutely insane expansion to Borderlands 2, appropriately titled Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage.
Just finished the last book and wow. Couldn't put it down. It could easily be a movie or series. Intrigue spies mysterious counter intelligence agencies remote locations double cross plot twists and interesting characters.
