Social media maven Britt Appleton is great at what she does. But getting her dream job with the Colorado Grizzlies takes more than a stellar resume. When Britt learned that wealthy businessman JR Driskill would be at the same Good Hope wedding she was attending, she couldn’t believe her luck. His name practically guaranteed she’d get an interview with the football team his family owns. Certain she’d make his acquaintance sometime between canapes and cake, Britt boldly added his name to her application.
She got the interview.
She never got close to JR.
Now she’s in Colorado, staying in the new Silver Creek complex, trying to meet Denver’s Most Eligible Bachelor before the interview but having no luck. At least she’s made two new friends since arriving in the Mile-High City; JR’s grandmother and a construction worker, Amos Lee. The scruffily-sexy carpenter couldn’t be more different than the clean-cut JR, but Britt falls head over heels. Only then does Britt discover Amos isn’t his name and he’s no carpenter…
This first book in the Silver Creek series will keep you reading WAY too late at night. Grab your copy and dive into this uplifting story now.

Just Say Yes is an engaging, character driven contemporary novel by Cindy Kirk. Brittany Appleton and JR Driskill appeared in the author’s Bachelor Games in Good Hope which featured Britt’s sister Bea. Although they were in town at the same time the couple never crossed paths in Good Hope. Britt makes a bold move by using JR as a reference when she applies for a social media position in one of his family’s businesses. I found this piece of the storyline enjoyable and engaging—I had to see how it played out. Britt arrives in Denver for a job interview only to learn that the meeting has been postponed. She’s between jobs and is counting on winning the position with the Colorado Grizzlies football team. Britt meets Amos Lee and they have an instant connection; Britt is drawn to the intelligent sexy carpenter and Amos is wowed by Britt’s positive go getter attitude and generous spirit. I loved, loved the chemistry between Britt and Amos. I love Cindy Kirk’s voice—she blends family, romance with real life situations. Just Say Yes is perfectly paced and the plot conflict is relatable and draws the reader into the story. The novel had the perfect amount of romance and unexpected plot twists to keep me intrigued. I am looking forward to Can’t Say No—book two in the Silver creek series!
We first meet Britt and JR Driskill in Ms. Kirk's Good Hope series #12 .( Britt's sister Bea HEA) Britt has decided to move to Denver to apply for a social media position with the football team the Grizzlies. Britt believes she can be an asset to the team and decide to put on her resume that she knows one of the owners JR. Britt was so sure when she was in Good Hope she would have met him unfortunately she did not and now she is face with the fear that she would be found out to be a liar on her resume. While waiting to be seated in a restaurant she meets Amos Lee and tells him of her plight not knowing he is the real JR. And so starts off this storyline where Britt does not know her friends true identity. Ms. Kirk writes a very believable plot about a young woman going after what she wants in her career and man who feels like he has to hide being himself not knowing he would find love and also trying to protect the ones he love. An upbeat beautiful story about what if while not looking for love love finds you. Giving an arc by the author for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this spin off from The Good Hope series. Loved seeing and finding out more about Britt and JR and I can't wait to read on about them. What a quick and fun read! Excuse me as I dive right away into book 2.
I enjoyed this romance and reading the story of how Brittany Appleton met Amos Lee. It is one of those stories that makes you smile and tugs at the heart.
Britt was ambitious. She came to Denver to interview for the social media job with the football team, the Grizzlies. She was experienced and had done her homework so that she would have an edge over the other applicants. Britt did make a mistake in listing a member of the Driskill family (owners of the Grizzlies) as a reference. She was going to meet JR Driskill at a wedding in Good Hope but he left due to a family emergency before she had a chance to meet him. So, to rectify this, she was on a mission to meet him before her interview.
JR Driskill is an eligible and wealthy bachelor. When he goes out in public, he disguises his looks and becomes Amos Lee, his alter ego. Britt and Amos meet at a small eatery in Denver. Amos (JR) asks Britt to join him at the busy restaurant. He didn’t look like the type she usually went for. Lots of facial hair and dressed very casually. They hit it off and found conversation was very easy. When trying to meet up with JR, Britt meets his grandmother, Halcion Driskill. Hal likes this young woman and offers her a temporary job until she hopefully gets her dream job. The story gets more interesting as the friendship grows between Britt and “Amos”. Also, both Hal and Britt become friends in a short period of time and respect each other for the strong women they both are. The plot does thicken as “Amos” knows that he will have to reveal his real identity and he has fallen for Britt. He doesn’t want to lose her but he is afraid of her reaction when she finds out that he has deceived her.
This story is the beginning of the Silver Creek Series. It was a fun and easy read. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. I recommend this book as it is an enjoyable escape and a fun romance.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am happy to voluntarily review it.
Do you read the Good Hope series? Are you still wondering what happened to Britt and JR? Did they ever connect? Did Britt get the job? Well, wonder no more, Just Say Yes has (most) of your answers. Bea and Britt Appleton are twins, but on the inside they are night and day. In Bachelor Games in Good Hope we meet Bea and her book store and follow her and Clay's story. We also get to meet her twin Britt. Britt knows what she wants and Good Hope is not it. Britt is excited to move on to the next big thing and when a job opportunity becomes available in Denver she can't wait to leave. Britt also finds out that while she is home with her sister that the elusive JR Driskill is in town. Through a Series of Unfortunate Events JR and Britt never cross paths. Britt lands in Denver only to find her Dream job interview has been pushed off two weeks. Britt is on a missing to run into JR and come clean about how she used him as a reference even though they never meet. Along the way to find JR Britt meets Amos. Not a normally guy she would be into by after several chance meeting Britt realizes she might be falling in love. JR can't just go out and enjoy a night on the town after being named Denver’s Most Eligible Bachelor, but his alter ego Amos can. When he sees a familiar face from his recent trip to Good Hope he invites Britt to join him. He is surprised how well his disguise works when Britt doesn't know who he is. After a few more run ins with the beautiful Britt JR is falling for her and pretty sure she isn't playing a game, but she only knows him as Amos. When JR comes clean can him Britt make it work? Let's hope so. I am looking forward to learning more about Sliver Creek and the Driskill family in the next installment. This book was an easy read. The characters are well developed and so real. You don't have to be a fan of Good Hope to understand what is going on. Also if you don't remember there is a lot of information so whether you are new to Cindy Kirk or she is your favorite you will love this book. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.
Have I ever been more excited to start a new series?
Britt is one of those characters that grew on me. We first met her via her sister Bea, and they are polar opposites. Bea is so easy to like, softer and homier. Britt is all hard city edges and ambition -- she never turns off, and is hell bent on securing a cushy social media position with the Grizzlies. She is also hell bent on meeting and making a good impression on the owner of the Grizzlies. It does not help matters that Britt claimed JR Driskill as a reference in her job application with the Grizzlies when in fact, they did not meet. JR had to leave early due to an emergency.
Britt meets and makes a good impression on Hal Driskill, and she gets offered temporary work until she lands her dream job. Britt does not know exactly how Hal and Amos (more on Amos below) are related. This makes the plot of our little tale of love even more interesting.
Who is this elusive owner of the Grizzlies, you ask? It's none other than eligible bachelor JR Driskill. He does not appreciate the notoriety being the most eligible bachelor has brought upon him so he has an alter ego .... Amos Lee. Amos and Britt meet randomly and that's where it all begins.
JR/Amos and Britt make a great couple, and I love how we see a lot of growth and development in their characters, both together and apart. I also love how we get to know Britt beyond her big dreams facade, and realize what a warm and caring person she is. JR is amazing -- kind and caring plus hot and sexy make for a lethal combination.
This story is written in classic Cindy Kirk fashion -- sweet, warm and with just the right amount of heat. I love that we have more friends to get to know .... and I want to know how Britt & JR's story works out, because there is a little cliffhanger to this book. Just enough to make me say I cannot wait for the next installment in this series.
*I received an ARC of this book, but this review is written voluntarily and all opinions in it are my own.
Oh what a pickle Britt has gotten herself into. She hedged her bets and now what she hoped would be a boost in her favor to land a dream job has turned into an unintended lie. All her attempts to meet the elusive, most eligible, Denver bachelor are stymied, both in Good Hope at a wedding and now in Denver. In the meantime, she meets a man she never dreamed could be the one, confesses her miscalculated scheme, and accepts his help to remedy her resume exaggeration before the date of her much sought-after interview. The two set off on a friend-filled exploration of the city that turns into building a sensuous and loving relationship. But before either can commit, with a little help from the great secondary character, Hal, first both the heroine and hero must confess to their fibs that started the relationship.
Reading the Good Hope book where Britt visits her sister and “meets” the hero from afar is not necessary, but in my opinion, if you love small town romance the entire Good Hope series is not to be missed. However, this first book in the new Silver Creek series, a spin-off from one of the Good Hope books where Britt’s misunderstood adventure begins, clearly outlines all her trials that started in Good Hope. Kirk does an excellent job of updating the reader on Britt’s little mistake in Good Hope, and resolving her problem in a fun-filled, Driskill family-involved, Silver Creek “drama.” Despite the big city setting, the Driskill family domain is like living in a small town. A great start to a new romantic series. Although the ending seemed to come a bit fast, it did help raise my curiosity about book two. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
I was given an Advanced Reader Copy of this book for an honest and voluntary review.
Britt has come to Denver looking for a job. She does social media publicity for sports teams. She is looking forward to working for the NFL team the Denver Grizzlies. She is a go-getter and a very ambitious woman.
J R is a millionaire and an owner of the Denver Grizzlies. He knows Britt because he knows her twin sister. He has seen Britt, but they have never been introduced. In order for him to make his way around the city without being hassled by strangers, he wears a disguise and calls himself Amos.
When they meet in a restaurant, Amos does not introduce himself as J R. Nor does he do it the next time they meet, nor the time after that.
Because, in the past, Britt believed she was going to meet him, she put J R down on her job application as a reference. That small misstep is the only thing that worries Britt. She knows she is perfect for the job and would be a good hire for the Grizzlies organization.
Britt and Amos/J R are a very good couple together. He is a warm and funny and kind hearted guy. She is an intelligent and ambitious woman. She is also brave.
It was hard for me to like the idea that J R was being so dishonest with her. I will give him points because his heart was in the right place.
This is a quick read. It is filled with Ms Kirk’s signature terrific characters. It is the first book in a trilogy, and I look forward to reading the next two stories.
I received the book from the author in the hopes that I would write an honest review. All opinions are completely my own.
Brittany Appleton is in Denver to interview for a highly sought after Social Media position with the Colorado Grizzlies Football Team. Unfortunately for Britt, one of her references doesn’t know he’s a reference or for that matter he doesn’t know her. Now she has a few days to right that wrong, if she can find him, the elusive JR Driskill. JR loves Denver, but hates the notoriety that his family brings because of their name and due to owning the Grizzlies. His solution is to go about his business in disguise, a beard, a hat, and the fake name of Amos Lee, can go a long way. This is when he meets Britt. She has no problem telling Amos her story which puts JR in a precarious position, while he decides to check out Ms. Britt Appleton and her claim for an interview he also finds he wants to get to know her better as a woman he finds interesting, funny, and if she’s truly as honest as she seems, someone he’d like to know that isn’t after his fame and money. Sparks fly, especially when he’s run out of time and is forced to revile his true identity. For someone who has admittedly taken advantage of JR Driskills’ name, Britt seems to have no issue with telling her story to complete strangers and some that turn out to be members of the Driskill family.. She doesn’t seem worried how this could affect her wanted position in the Grizzly Family. Maybe a little more discretion would be wise. A spin-off of the Good Hope series takes us to Silver Creek, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. Britt Appleton was hoping to meet JR Driskill at a Good Hope wedding. Unfortunately, he was called home before the wedding but Britt put JR's name down as a reference for the position she craved with the Colorado Grizzlies, a team which JR is part of the ownership team.
When Britt gets to Denver, her interview has been postponed because Nyla, JR's sister is out of town. She goes to the office where JR works, hoping to meet him to explain that she put him down as a reference before she actually met him. She does meet Hal, JR's grandmother, who offers Britt a job and a place to stay. She has also met Amos Lee, a construction worker, who Britt does not know is actually JR. "Amos" is also checking out Britt, because Hal's last PA was a shady character.
Britt finally gets the interview and the job on a one month trial basis. However, when Amos outs himself as JR, he and Britt are both uncomfortable with their new relationship status because now JR and Nyla are Britt's boss.
Ms. Kirk's writing style is the same as that of her Good Hope series. Characters that you just have to root for to get their happy endings. However, unlike the Good Hope series, this story has a "to be continued feel" to find out if JR and Britt will get their happy ending.
Nice start to this series! This is about Brit who is Bea’s (from Good Hope) twin sister and about JR/Amos. Brit is in Denver trying to get a job with the Grizzlies football team, but she thought she would have a chance to meet JR, whose family owns the team, in Good Hope before the interview, only he had an emergency and left right away. Brit is not one to use people the way some may think, but she overestimated herself and added JR as a reference before meeting him. Fast-forward to the day of the interview and well, she still has not met him, but lucky her the interview is pushed back for another two weeks.
Amos is having dinner in his favorite place when he happens to spot Brit and recognizes her as Bea’s twin sister. He thinks she has recognized him as JR because she smiled at him and accepted his invitation to join him at him table instead of her waiting for hours to be seated. She thought he was hot and normal not a wealthy entitled idiot like she had in her past. Well, the story gets good because then she meets Hal, who I love, and is JR’s grandma. Hal takes her under her wing to help her out as she is stuck for a couple of weeks before her interview. The good thing about Brit is that she has never lied about what she did and confesses everything to both Amos and Grandma Hal, but the story is interesting as she does not know who Amos is…. Can’t wait to continue reading their love story!
I received an Advanced Reader Copy from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. This is a spin-0ff of the Good Hope series. Welcome to Colorado. Brittany Appleton, Bea’s twin sister, headed to Denver to pursue a job opportunity with the Grizzlies football team. She put JR Driskill, another Good Hope transplant and part of the family that owns the team, down as a personal reference though she had yet to actually meet him. She had plans to change that once stepping foot in Denver but was having a hard time accomplishing this goal.
Unbeknownst to Britt, JR often appeared around town in disguise. Amos Lee met Britt by accident but could not stay away from her beautiful smile and refreshing openness. Though Amos Lee was not man she would normally be attracted to, Britt liked him and enjoyed having a friend in the city.
There are a lot of what ifs throughout this book. Readers will continue reader in enthralled by that aspect. Will Britt find JR before her interview? Will Britt figure out who Amos Lee really is? Will Britt forgive JR once she finds out? Readers are on pins and needles waiting for that shoe to drop.
Of course, similar to all Cindy Kirk’s novels, readers will fall in love with the characters. You will want to see them happy but not sure exactly how it can be done. Britt and JR appeared in Bachelor Games in Good Hope and neither one was actually endearing. We didn’t get to know them. This book gives you that inside knowledge and allows you to see both in a different light. Cindy has a way of making characters human, characters that you want as your friends, that you want to comfort. This wonderful world continues in Silver Creek. Let’s see where it takes us.
Just Say Yes is the first in the Silver Creek series, a spin-off from the Good Hope series, and is a fantastic start. This is a story of reaching for your dreams and finding the truth beneath the outward appearances. Britt Appleton is in Denver vying for her dream job with the Grizzlies but she is trying to right a problem that could derail her hopes. JR Driskill's family owns the Grizzlies, he has been voted Most Eligible Bachelor, and is very protective of his family and his identity. When he wants a normal evening, he goes out in disguise as Amos Lee. On one such night, he spies Britt standing in line and invites her to join him at his table. They have an enjoyable evening and their attraction starts to grow but when Britt gets a temporary job with his grandmother, JR starts doubting her veracity. However, the more time they spend together, the more he realizes that she is genuine and now must figure out a way to reveal his true identity. This is a wonderfully written story with engaging characters that totally captures the feelings that will keep you entertained until the very last page.
I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.
This book is right up there with Cindy‘s best. A spin off from the Good Hope Series, set in the big city of Denver instead of a small town. Britt is Bea’s twin from Bachelor Games in Good Hope. Britt was in Good Hope at the same time as part owner, JR Driscoll, she put him down for a reference for a job with the Grizzlies. She expected to meet him and he unexpectedly had to return home. Now she is stressed because she put one of the owners down for a reference but had never met him. She knows she’s perfect for the job.
He occasionally likes to go out incognito, since he has been named the most available bachelor. He is at a restaurant and he recognizes her and invites her just sit with him. Of course she does not recognize him. She spills her secret and confides her problem to him. They end up seeing each other but not as JR Driscoll. Long story short, they see each other for two weeks and he hast to let her know that he has been lying and is really JR.
This is a very sweet and interesting romance. "I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it."
Just Say Yes is the first in the Silver Creek series, which is a follow on from the Good Hope series of books.
We first met Britt Appleton in the Good Hope book about her sister Bea. Whilst attending Bea's wedding, Britt was intent on meeting JR Driskell whose family own the Grizzlies. Having been unable to get to meet him, Britt heads to Denver to get her dream job doing social media for the Grizzlies and she has included the fact that she "knows JR" on her resume.....she needs to get to JR to tell him what she has done.
However, she meets Hal and the two women strike up a real friendship and then she meets Amos and has a wonderful evening. Little does she know who Amos really is and his relationship to Hal.
I loved the story and Cindy has written some cracking characters again. I was rooting for Britt and JR, hoping that they would both give love a chance.......Just Say Yes was a quick but so very enjoyable read. I had to immediately start the next book Can't Say No as soon as I'd finished this one.
I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
Cindy Kirk did a Mile High job with this book! I had an Advanced Reader copy to review and this book was outstanding!
First of of all, it reminded me of my husband and I getting to know each other in Denver! I remember our brown paper bag lunches at the Civic Center Park on our lunch break from May D&F, which we both worked for in downtown Denver. Also exploring the Capitol Hill area of Denver with him (I am a native).
I really love the character Britt, she is so full of energy and sees the good in things and wants to enjoy life! She wants to make something of herself and she wants to do it on her own accord.
Amos is great character as well. He is down to earth, sweet, intelligent and loving. I love that he is a renaissance man. He shows how caring he is and does not try to get in Britt’s path by trying to help her when he can, (he does have a secret) I admire that.
The bonus character in this book was Hal! She is the strong woman we all aspire to be. I hope we learn more about her in this series.
Thanks, Cindy for this series! I know I’m going to love it!
Shocked. Yes, I said it. I'm shocked. This story actually ended on a cliffhanger of sorts.
Although Britt was trying to meet JR in "Bachelor Games in Good Hope", this can be read as a standalone. When Britt met Amos, I thought she was surprisingly chatty. With all of the research she had done about the Grizzlies, I thought she would be a bit more circumspect in her conversation with a stranger.
I like Amos and Britt together, but I kept wishing he would be honest. Britt also seemed like a nicer person in this book, a little less sophisticated than she seemed to be in the Good Hope book. I can say that I liked JR's grandmother Hal, but didn't care for his father at all. He seemed very dismissive.
The only thing I kept wondering throughout the book was how Britt was going to react when she found out about Amos...I was a little surprised. Guess we will all find out more in the next book. I would rate this one at 3.5 stars.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received from the publisher.
Just Say Yes is a spin-off from the Good Hope Series about Britt Appleton. We met Britt in Bachelor Games in Good Hope when she visits her twin sister Bea in Good Hope.
Britt has come to Denver for a job interview with the Grizzlies, but first she absolutely needs to meet up with JR Driskill. She almost met him when he was in Good Hope, but he had to leave early.
Britt unfortunately does not get to meet JR, but she does get to meet Amos Lee. Amos is friendly & willing to listen to Britt’s situation about why she’s trying to track down JR.
In her efforts to track down JR, Britt meets Hal. Hal and Britt quickly become friends.
Will Britt ever track down JR? Read Just Say Yes to find out!
It is not necessary to read Bachelor Games in Good Hope prior to reading Just Say Yes.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.
Britt is Bea's twin sister. She tried to see JR Driscoll in Good Hope, but never got the chance to talk with him. She used his name as a reference to apply to be in the social media dept. of the Denver Grizzlies Football team. She gets the interview, but still hasn't talked to JR. She goes to get dinner and meets Amos who invites her to sit with him in a crowded bar. They hit it off, and spend the weekend together. Amos is JR, but she doesn't recognize him. She meets his Grandma and gets a job and apartment with her while waiting in town for Nyla, JRs sister and her interviewer. The interview goes great, they offer her a one month internship to see how she fits in. Amos introduces her to JR, after seeing him as JR she realizes he lied, but they talk about it, and she accepts his apologies for lying about who he is.
Up next is Can't Say No.
I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
When the Grizzlies advertise for a new social media journalist Britt decides to put down as a reference the son of the owner of the Grizzlies, hoping while she is in Good Hope at the same time as him that their paths would cross! Unfortunately JR is called back home earlier than planned.
And she got the interview! Now she has 2 weeks to have a chance at meeting JR beforehand when she befriends his grandmother and helps her with odd jobs around the building for new tenants .
JR just wants a few hours of not being JR Driskill, so he dones a persona and chances no one will recognize him. He becomes Amos Lee a construction worker, working JR' new apartment building.
Can Amos/Jr prevent the 2 identities being outed as the 1 with Britt.
I received an advanced copy from the Author and this is a voluntary review.
Great story line, good strong characters.
All 3 books intertwine as 1 long read, however it's not just Britt and JRs story.
5*

This book is a bit of a spin-off from the Good Hope series - we met the main characters of this story in Good Hope, although they were minor participants. Britt is pursuing her dream job in Social Media with a football team in Denver. She was in Good Hope at the same time as a Denver business magnate, and put in her resume with him as a reference, but then wasn't able to actually meet him. In Denver, she does meet an apparent construction worker, and they start dating.
I'm probably making it sound more convoluted than it really is. The main characters were reasonable and strong - Britt especially is talented, independent, and driven to succeed. A grandmotherly woman named Hal is also especially strong, and I hope I see her and the others in the sequel to this book.
My thanks to the publisher for giving me an ARC to review. I'd recommend the book as a sweet, quick romantic read.
Just Say Yes by Cindy Kirk is a spin-off from Ms. Kirks well loved Good Hope series-which I absolutely love and highly recommend. This book is the first of three short-easy read Novellas in the Silver Creek Series. I found this story to be a wonderfully sweet and uplifting short romance with enough conflict to keep any contemporary romance lover turning the pages. The characters were likable and Ms. Kirk didn't disappoint in her eloquent descriptive manner even though the story had to move at a fast pace since it was a novella. I found the ending to be slightly rushed and was a little disappointed until I realized it was to carry over into the second book. Despite the slight disappointment at the ending, I truly enjoyed this story and can't wait to read the next one!!

I started this story without reading the synopsis, so I went in only hearing it was an extension from a book in the Good Hope series (one of my favorites). To finish and realize it's the start of a NEW series, I am so excited.
This was a super sweet story where you can't help but fall in love with the characters, exactly what I expect when reading a Cindy Kirk book.
I'm not usually a fan of disguise trope (is that a thing?), it just makes me uncomfortable that a couple starts to develop feelings while one of them is being a different person. But, it did not bother me in this book. Even though I wish the disguise had been revealed sooner, you could see the struggle and the reasoning.
I am excited for the next book!

Britt Appleton is going after her dream job with the Grizzlies. She's trying to impress & puts JR's name down (his family owns the Grizzlies) on her application, and is hoping to meet him at a wedding in Good Hope. When this doesn't happen she keeps trying to meet up with him with no luck so she can explain what happened before her interview. She does meet Hal (JR's grandmother) and is offered a job until her interview. Amos (JR) spots Britt and invites her to his table. There's immediate attraction, and they hit things off. Once he realizes that he needs to tell her the truth, how will this turn out? That he's JR??? How will Britt react? Will she still be able to get the job of her dreams? “I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.”
This is the first book in the Silver Creek series, but follows 2 people we have gotten glimpses of via Ms. Kirk's Good Hope Series. Britt Appleton listed JR Driskell as a personal reference to make her resume stand out. After failing to connect at a Good Hope wedding, Britt heads to Denver determined to meet JR face to face before she interviews for her dream job. Instead, she meets and falls for Amos Lee, none other than JR Driskell in disguise. I was glad that a wig and fake facial hair were mentioned. I felt it would have been a disservice to Britt's character to make it seem like a ball cap or glasses kept her in the dark as to Amos' real identity. This was a very cute, quick read that laid a fine foundation for Silver Creek #2!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
Britt Appleton is tired of being labeled. Her parents have branded her immature and a failure at holding down a "real" job. When an opportunity to work in social media for the Colorado Grizzlies comes available, she stretches the truth to get an interview.... JR Driskill is tired of being labeled. His families wealth and power is so much in the public eye that he resorts to disguises just to eat a burger in peace. When Britt's lie and JR's subterfuge collide in sizzling attraction, will they be able to establish a workable relationship? Cindy Kirk's books always include well crafted characters, so I look forward to each new book and series. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and I am willingly offering this review.
“I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.” Just Say Yes is the first book of a new series by Cindy Kirk. The series is a spin off from the Good Hope series and focuses on Britt Appleton & JR Driskill. Once I started reading this book, I couldn't stop as it was a very easy enjoyable read. the story is set in Denver where Britt Appleton has headed to meet up with JR Driskill in the hopes of landing a job with the Grizzlies Football Team. Throughout the course of the book things don't go to plan but there a HEA for Britt & JR. I look forward to reading the next book to see where the relationship goes. If you're a fan of the Good Hope series then you'll definitely enjoy Just Say Yes!

I loved this book especially because it was a spin-off of one of my other favorite Cindy Kirk series Good Hope!! Britt who is Beas twin sister from Good Hope moves to Colorado to interview with the PR dept of their football team the Grizzlies. She uses JR’s name as a reference since she was supposed to meet him while she was in Good Hope but missed him. She meets “Amos” who is actually JR in disguise twice and they start a friendship. It of course grows to more but she is till under the impression she has not met JR until the day of her interview.
I absolutely love these characters and honestly so glad I have the next book to drive in to!! Short read but awesome!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. As a former resident of Colorado, I love reading stories that take place in the Centennial State. Just Say Yes is no exception to that rule. I enjoyed meeting Britt in the Good Hope series, and now enjoyed following her quest to land a job with a pro football team...and find love along the way. I appreciated that Britt and JR were mature enough to not succumb to wounded prides when revelations were made at the end of the story. I’m looking forward to continuing the series, finding answers to cliffhangers, and following the love saga. Just Say Yes is a quick, sweet novella that leaves you wanting for a meet cute of your own.
Britt has moves to Denver for a fresh start. She’s scored an interview for a media specialist with the Denver Grizzlies football team...and gave one of the team’s owners as a reference. The problem? Britt’s never really met JR Driscoll...he had been invited to her sister’s wedding but had a family emergency. Now she’s trying to reach him to explain...except he’s not returning her call. Britt meets a handsome guy at a cafe and the pair hit it off. Over the next couple of weeks, Britt and Amos enjoy time together and develop feelings for each other. However, Amos has a huge secret that could derail this HEA. Cute story...with an HFN cliffhanger.
