Loveless: Book Two

Rate this book
Part two in an ongoing series. An unidentifiable mental illness has begun infecting the people of Britain. While the WHO investigates the possibility of a contagious mental disorder, four infected strangers; James McDonagh, Elena Parr, Eddie Green and Joesph Rosse, are caught up amongst a war brewing in the psychedelic realm of La Mer. A realm caught between dream and reality, a realm ruled over by the Great One and his army of the thousands. With the gears of fate in motion, the foursomes' ego's venture closer into the den of the enemy, hoping they can survive each day to discover the truth, and its inexplicable link to a mental illness threatening to destroy all of mankind. Relationships blossom and friendships end in the second part of Loveless, a story that focuses not just on the cruelty of mental illness, but the struggles and the will of people.

Loveless Book Two - A Book Review of the Novel by Shaun Prentice-Gregory

The Good:
-The prologue of this book is great, letting the readers in on some information they didn’t know while reading the first book, and bringing my interest in the story up a lot.
-I loved that we finally got a meeting scene between Joe and Eddie in this book.
-This book has a great fast pace that really brought up my excitement level of the whole story.
-This book is overall just a great continuation of the large cast of characters’ journeys that were started in book one.
-The La Mer storyline in this book was a lot more fun to read about than it was in the first book.
-The climax of this book is outstandingly good.
-This book has quite a few great plot revelations.
-The last section of the final chapter and the epilogue of this book makes me wish I could read book three(which has not yet been released) right now.

The Bad:
-I felt that this book could’ve used a bit more proofreading, since I noticed quite a few mistakes in capitalization, punctuation, and some other things.
-There were a few (minor) things in this book that confused me.

Final Rating: A

And now I am waiting for the next book in the series.
