Mate Tracker #1

The Tracker's Mate

Rate this book
I’m a kick-butt tracker. The best in the business.

Dead or alive, I find them. No one can hide from me, including people’s predestined mates. I can hook couples up better than Tinder. It’s my specialty.

A year ago, I opened my own agency, and now that I’m finally looking out for number one, my bank account has regained its lost confidence.

So when Jake Knight suddenly returns, determined to drag me back into the dangerous life I used to lead—the same one where ramen was a staple and I became homeless—I put my brand new Louis Vuitton boot down.

He can take his hot, werewolf self back to whatever hole he crawled from.

Sure, it sucks there’s a supernatural war brewing, and the werewolf I used to date has gone missing, but Jake won’t drag me back into that life. No way. He can fight crime all on his lonesome. I’m done with it.

Or at least that’s my goal until the attempts on my life begin, and I barely escape. Now, I have an ancient vampire on my tail, and a hot werewolf reawakening our troubled past, and I must fight not to lose myself again.

If you enjoy K.F. Breene, Shannon Mayer, Annette Marie, and CN Crawford then prepare to enjoy a witty heroine and her rekindling romance with the hot werewolf who broke her heart.

This wasn't that bad. Not bad at all. Sure, it is your basic urban fantasy romance, complete with a heroine who is searching for a missing person plot and a hot ex-boyfriend who is also a werewolf. See, basic? But man, I love this basic plot. Plus, you got a huge cliffhanger that actually made me WANT to read the next book.

So, the basic story is this. The heroine is a matchmaker in an urban fantasy world where human, vampire, werewolf, witches and fae roam free. So people pays her agency whenever they want to find their soulmate.

What bothered me initially was that the relationship between our hero and heroine was already established prior to this book, as in the hero already dumped her a year and half ago before the beginning of this book. I kinda wish we could see it developing here but I guess I can see why it has to be done that way for the twist to make sense.

All in all, if you want to chill out and read a fun urban fantasy, I would've recommended this for you. The next book is out tomorrow anyway and you bet I'm gonna read that too.

I hated this book. HATED it.

Let's be clear, the story had potential. Unfortunately, it was delivered with sub-standard copy editing. Normally I would only down grade a single star for that, and I suppose I've done that here although I can't see that it matters over all, because...

There was absolutely nobody to like in this book. I could live with secondary characters mostly falling flat, and the single one that didn't fall flat ended up being a bit twisty and untrustworthy. I could live with that. But the main character was insufferable. She had the inner world of a 12 year old; an obsessive, emotionally stunted, intentionally oblivious, victim, 12 year old who obsesses over abusers.

Who abused her? Well, everyone but especially everyone who is supposed to love her. There's a love triangle with two abusers. Her mother has abused her, I'm sure it will turn out to be "for her own good." Her partner lies to her, again "for her own good." And all the while she's pining away for all these abusers. There were allusions to the possibility that her brother is lying to her. I really hate women who cling to their dysfunction and that is the foundation of this character's personality.

The notion that a 20 year old could be at the top of her professional life after opening an agency (while homeless) after 12 months in business is absolutely unbelievable.

And finally, the ending was a cliff hanger/hook, and even that was shitty.

I won't be reading any more of these. If there had been no romance I might have continued on, but then the book would have been a novella and the MC wouldn't have had any personality at all. Take away her dysfunction and there is nothing left.

HATED it.

Head scratcher

I find it disappointing when YA novels are fantastical to the point that it’s nonsensical. There’s a difference between sci-fi/paranormal/fantasy/AU fiction and a total disconnection from reality.

Here, readers are supposed to believe that an 18yo and a 20yo had the credit to get a business loan. And found a property manager who was willing to rent office space to them. And become the most successful people in their field within 18 months. They’re so successful that the fmc wears $3k designer shoes and is planning to buy a condo. The fmc’s former high school boyfriend in this AU is an equally successful licensed private investigator.

A frustrating book. It’s storyline is fresh and it’s well written but the characters and plot are somewhat frustrating. I don’t know how to put it other than saying I think the characters and their choices are stupid, as in genuine questionable intelligence. There are so many things unsaid to keep certain characters in the dark that just left me annoyed. You know with certainty if your an avid reader that the more things are left unsaid the more these ‘secrets’ will be revealed intentionally or unintentionally later on with a major fall out, but the problem with that is now the plot has become predictable. So with everything left unsaid the more predictable it all becomes. This is different to books that have ‘mystery’ this is just jumping the shark.

Don’t get me started on Jake! He is not a good guy! Jake left with no explanation just a note and money, ummm can we just say ‘hello coward!’ He’s now moved back to town, out of the blue, and of all the places moved in next to his ex who he still loves (and probably knows she still loves him) but will ultimately look for a relationship with someone else because she is not werewolf. What? Why? So she can watch it all play out through the window and be tortured by it? That is a horrible thing to do. This isn’t the kind of guy I want to end up happily ever after with the female lead character. Even if Toni conveniently now turns into a werewolf I still think Jake is a horrible person and should stay well away. But Toni has shown signs unfortunately of being a doormat so she’ll probz let him just do whatever.

No. Just no.
I got bored when they held hands and walked out of the hospital.
I started skimming and scanning after they held hands aGain.
I gave up after the kiss.

Honestly the only character I liked was Kallyl. Maybe it was the TDD/TDH factor but whatever.

Toni was just. Horrible. I might’ve understood her backstory if her parents were dead and she had no one to hold on to but. Girl spent months homeless cause she didn’t want to hear her very much alive and well meaning and Nice family say ‘I told you so’. And then she has the nerves to go all ‘Jake left me to be homeless’. Homegirl the reason you were out on the streets can be found if you looked at a mirror. You. Just you.

And then there’s Jake. Him too i could’ve been on board with the whole ‘I have a responsibility to my family’ bs if it weren’t for the fact that he kept thirsting over Toni. Mate, choose a path and stick with it. Honestly instant dislike with this one. And then at the end where he’s all ‘I didn’t leave because I didn’t care, I left because I cared too much’ BITCH PLEASE.

I think overall that was it. Those were the two characters in the book?? Oh no wait the Rosalinda or whats-her-name chick. Yeah she’s more a 24/7 maid than the BFF. Really. It was like Toni was a big baby who needed a sitter to watch over her, make sure she eats, wash her bum, kiss her ass. Nothing substantial to her character. Nothing.

That in a nut shell sums up the book. Toni and Jake dated. Jake left. Toni cry. Roseperson take care of Toni. Toni better. Jake comes back. Toni realize Toni love Jake. Jake realize he want the icing, the cake, the baker, the bakery everything. Toni and Jake want Jake and Toni but oh no *reasons*.

I love me a good ex to lovers novel. This though was a shit to shittier novel. Won’t be continuing it.

A great start to a series

This was good, like really good. It was great to read this as it's a blend of fantasy, humour, a great female lead, and a good second chance romance that had all the feels but not overtaking the main plot but rather enhancing it.

The idea of the tracker as the female lead was really interesting and not something I've read before, which is nice because it's fresh, and stands out from all the other fantasy books.

And the plot twist at the end!!!!!! Wow!!!!! I can't wait for book two.

Antoinetta ‘Toni’ Sunder, tracks people’s mates for a living. Humans, vampires, werewolves, Fae. You name it. She can hook couples up better than Tinder. In fact, as co owner of Sunder’s Tracker Agency - along with her business partner and best friend, Rosalina Lopez - she’s considered to be one of the best in the business. This is in contrast to a year earlier when the love of her life, Jake Knight, suddenly upped and left her without any explanation, resulting in her life taking a downhill spiral and leading to her eventual homelessness. It was Rosalina who took her off the streets and helped her to turn her life around.

Now to her dismay, Jake is back and needs her help. Stephen Erickson, the estranged son of the Werewolf Alpha, Ulfen Erickson, has suddenly gone missing and he needs her tracking skills to ascertain his whereabouts. Toni briefly dated Stephen on the rebound after Jake until Ulfen gave his son and heir an ultimatum and forced him to end their relationship.

Jake’s reemergence into her life brings back painful memories of their breakup. However with a supernatural war brewing between vampires and werewolves over the missing Stephen as well as the numerous attempts on her life, Toni is forced to reconsider an alliance with Jake. Unknown to Jake, Toni has secrets of her own that she never shared with him during their relationship - the price she has to pay every time she uses her powers.

The Tracker’s Mate is the first compelling instalment of what looks to be a promising series. As someone who is familiar with the author’s previous works, I always look forward to her new releases and this book did not disappoint. In fact, Toni is probably my favourite heroine yet. I love her snarky sense of humour, her vulnerability under the tough exterior she goes at great lengths to hide, her compassion and selflessness. Supporting her throughout her highs and lows is her faithful friend, Rosalina, who rescued Toni when she was down and out on the streets.

The book is told solely from Toni’s point of view and what a delight it was to read from her perspective. I found myself laughing out loud in so many instances while in others my heart felt like it would break for the toil that her powers seemed to take on her.

As always, I was impressed with the author’s world building. It’s apparent early on that tensions in the city between humans, werewolves, vampires, witches, mages and Fae have been running high for many years with each faction wanting more control and power. With a precarious balance constantly teetering on the edge of war, it’s clear that by abducting Stephen Erickson, someone is intent on tipping the scales. The question is who? High on the list is Bernadetta Fiore, the Dark Donna who happens to be the most powerful vampire in the city. As tensions between the vamps and werewolves heighten, it’s up to Toni to find Stephen in order to prevent all out war.

Interestingly humans are referred to as Stales while the supernaturally gifted are referred to as Skews. Toni’s father was a Stale while her mother comes from a long line of witches, mages, trackers and healers. Toni has three siblings; Leo is a skilful mage, Daniella a witch with healing abilities and Lucia who is a witch with strong telekinetic powers.

Toni’s love interest, a werewolf by the name of Jake, was also an interesting protagonist. Several years ago, his brother Neil, went missing and was never found. His father drank himself to death and his mother died of a broken heart not long after. As the last wolf in what was once a powerful werewolf dynasty, it’s important to Jake that he carry on his father’s legacy which in hindsight makes his grandfather Walter’s claims about Toni all the more strange. I’m curious to know more about Walter’s powers as well as his motives in the next instalment.

Tori’s trip to Elf-hame, the Fae Realm was another intriguing aspect as was her meeting with the charismatic Prince Kalyll, of the Seelie Fae. I hope he’ll feature more in the next instalment.

There’s a shocking twist at the end regarding who and what Toni is that threatens everything she thought she knew about herself and I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for her.

All in all the author has built a clever engaging world that just begs to be explored further with characters that you will want to spend time with and get to know. Highly recommended.

Wow, Ingrid did not disappoint you will not want to put this book down. Toni was left high and dry by Jacob Knight and lost sight of herself. Rosaline has been her friend since than and they started a mate agency. Now Jake is back and wants her help to find Stephen who's dad is top dog. What will she do? Ignore him? How does he know Stephen? What happen to Stephen? Can Rosaline keep her on track? Why does her heart hurt so bad? He doesn't know her secret can she keep it that way? Why won't he leave her alone? Now there is a war between Vampires and Werewolf's. But what is this with the Fae? Whos is this guy that shows up at odd times. So much mystery, action, heartache and more. You will not want to put this book down. I received a free copy for my honest review.

Good read

Enjoyable read. I think what I liked most about this was our heroine, you can tell she's been hurt, and still cares about the ones that hurt her, but she really stays strong. And there are a few times she gets weak for the one that got away ( or more like left without a damn word!) But she holds herself together, she keeps reminding herself she deserves better and I really loved that. I loved the storyline, I loved the characters! And I really can't wait to see how this all pans out. I will say I dont really care for the love interest, after he reveals why he left I can't help but think what a selfish a**!***. His excuse just really made me more mad on behalf of our H. And she took It with such mature understanding. Ugh! It was like she wasn't good enough because of what she was or wasn't. And I hated that. If I'm honest I'm rooting for the fae hotty. Lol, and I don't even think he's even a possibility, which makes me sad because those wolves suck.

Ingrid Seymour is another one of those authors whose books have caught my attention and I've been meaning to give it a try. Tracker's Mate is the first book in the Mate Tracker series and the first book that I've read by her. To say that Tracker's Mate blew my mind is an understatement, this book was freaking awesome.

Tracker's Mate is a singer perspective, paranormal slow-burn (assuming second chance) romance. In a world where supernaturals are live and work beside humans, things can get a little magical. There are witches, shifters, vampires, and fae. The politics are crazy but most go about just wanting to live their lives, which includes finding a mate. That's where Toni Sunder comes in, Toni is one of the best trackers there is and what she tracks you may ask are people's mates. After going through a tough time and terrible heartache, Toni has gotten her life together and decided she wanted to do something that brings happiness to people, by finding their mate and she is fantastic at it, her skills can not be beaten.

The friendship between Toni and Rosaline is so heart touching, it's a true friendship without any of the drama. Rosaline is the laid back one in the friendship, while Toni is more of the needier one, let's face it Toni is/was a little bit of a mess and needs the support of Rosaline. As a matter of fact, Rosaline is a very important person in Toni's life, she not only supports her but takes care of her in certain ways, making sure she is okay. Toni's supernatural powers are a lot, they really take their toll on her but with the help and support of her best friend Rosaline, Toni can take on so much more without being too damaging.

The magic in this book is great, I have never come across a supernatural who is a tracker, and how Toni uses her powers is fascinating and adds layers to not only the story but to her as a character. What Toni does isn't easy, it takes a toll but she doesn't shy away from it. Toni has gone through so much, including a breakup that has left her with so much pain, but she endures and has created a nice life. Toni has a perfectly good family, who have some semblance in her life and who I think will come into play later in the series.

Jake is the one who got away, more accurately he is the one who broke Toni's heart. Well, he is back and brings trouble and even more problems with him. It kills me because they seem good together but he refuses to give Toni the answers she needs all the while barging into her life asking so many things while being judgemental. He isn't perfect but I can tell there is a connection there plus with what was revealed at the end of the book I have a feeling this might turn into a second chance (paranormal) romance and I can't wait to see how that works out.

The story was even pace and very entertaining, it was great. The idea that Toni is a supernatural matchmaker is great, then add in the mystery case that Toni gets involved in, the crazy politics between the wolves and the vampires, crazy clients, and Toni's love life, this book easy kept my interest. I loved Tracker's Mate, especially with the two shocking plots at the end, I am already dying for the next book in the series.

Sooo Good

Wow where has this series been hiding seriously 😳 I regret leaving it sitting in my TBR list for the past couple of months now....
Toni is a descendant from a line of witches her power like her grandmothers is a tracker she uses this ability in her agency to help others find their mates.
She's still heartbroken after the love of her life up and left her life with no explanation but when he comes crashing back into her life Toni will have to use all her strength not to fall down the same rabbit hole again and when he finally tells her why he really left it had me in tears 😭
Right at the last moment we thrown a loaded truth grenade that changes everything and whilst this does end of a cliffhanger you can rest easy that the next book is out 🥳🥳🥳
Definitely recommend reading 📚

In Ingrid Seymour's world ordinary people (Stales) live side by side with supernatural beings (Skews). Toni is a Skew; she's an excellent tracker. When she tracks someone she uses all of her senses and puts herself in a kind of trance. I really like Toni's power and how it's working. When she's in a trance she uses one sense at a time. She hopes to find her "target" as soon as possible - and with as few senses as possible. For every minute she's "under" she loses the senses she's used for the equivalent number of hours afterwards. I could stand to lose my smell and hearing for a while, but not being able to see...! Let's just say that I understand Toni's reluctance to use her sight during her tracking sessions.

Some things were predictable, others were not. I was a bit bothered by some repetitive phrases and Toni's "pep talks" with herself. It felt a little silly at times, but it might just be because I'm fairly older than our protagonist... The ending made me very curious about what will happen in the next book!

* I received an ARC from the author and I'm giving my honest review. *

I’m sorry to say that I did not finish this book. It was really hard for me to push through this one. I got to 47% and every time I opened it up I would get through a page and then close it again.

I had high hopes for this book as it sounded amazing and everything I want in a book. A kick ass women finding people’s mates? Ummm yes please, but I didn’t see any of that. It was more of a mystery where she’s trying to find her ex boyfriend. Weird things were happening to her and then another ex boyfriend showed up begging for her to get on the case.

I’t just seemed all over the place to me and jumpy. There was no transition from one thing to the other. Again, it was hard to hold my attention to it. I’m sure lots of people loved this book, but it just wasn’t for me.

This book has everything fae, shifters, mages, vampires and humans of course! I actually liked the book maybe because I wasn't sure what to expect. The H is not a nincompoop or tstl which helps. The storyline is not super deep but definitely got me hooked to see where it leads. I want to know more about what the heck is going on and who is the responsible party despite signs pointing in obvious places. The bombshell revelation that Toni was left with at the end of book 1...ha ha. That was an interesting twist. If I were her I would be super pissed as well. I totally agree with her feelings on this one.

The relationship between Jake and Toni is ongoing. They had a past but Jake left Toni high and dry for some unknown reason. It left her scarred, hurt and unable to trust him. He's been gone for over a year and re-enters her life. Let's say sparks fly and words exchanged. I know things are leading in certain direction for them but it is still good to read. My only gripe (it's just me sitch) was that their separation was 1.5 yrs. Initially, I assumed it was several years. 1.5 yr just felt vanilla in the grand scheme of things. The depth of separation just did not feel a huge deal to me. I feel if it had been 3-5 yrs the impact of it would have been a bit more and feelings would have felt a bit more boom! Maybe I cannot explain what I feel? I don't know. But it's all good!

Toni and Rosalina friendship is amazing. Finally, this is great how they have each other's backs and Rosalina is a well written character as well. She has been there for Toni during her hard times and I love their interaction together.

I do recommend it. I will be reading the next book.

Reading this book enabled me to find purpose, meaning, and a deep connection with the universe.

Okay, not quite, but this book is basically the epitome of everything I love about Urban Fantasy Romance. It is pretty much flawless. It glues you to the pages and rockets you through all the way to the end. The book resolves the main plot before the last couple of pages implant another mystery in your head and you HAVE to read the next book.

The protag is a lot of fun, the side characters are great, the romance aspect is complex. The magic is awesome (and as you read, you learn more about it). What's not to love?

I really enjoyed this first book in this series.
Heaps of angst attached to this ya/na novel.

There’s heaps on background information that we still need to know. In relation to what the main character actually is.

Very interesting liked the world building.
Narration was also fabulous.
Solid four star read.

Hea? Not yet
World building? Absolutely fabulous
Romance? Yeah, but quite angsty
SFC? Yes 🙌

Wow ! Exciting ! New transcendent series from Ingrid Seymour...I would advise anyone to start this spellbinding series now. It was like a murder thriller physiological story but with all the paranormal and fantasy elements Ingrid Seymour is famous for, so much so it felt like there was no world change, I just simply stepped out my front door and there it was all happening, but alas our world is not filled with Vampires and Werewolves, however fortitude, heartbreak, alongside mystery and emotions are. Ingrid Seymour hit every mark for me when dealing with all the subjects including kidnapping......This is the sort of work that is long in Toni’s history & she excels at it, but she is determined not to be pulled back into that way of life again because it included the only man she ever loved and left her, now finding and tracking people’s soulmate’s is a much safer and happier career, and one she has fought for with tooth and nail, Luke & his problems can just go and do one & take any danger ⚠️ and new threat to her heart because that’s the one thing she won’t let him have any control over again, even if he is most sexiest man on earth....That’s the basis of the Story but be ready for some great witty remarks from this kick ass heart finder but the twists and turns that start appearing are just well 🤷‍♀️ extraordinary with there presence as they are like you have suddenly run into an invisible brick wall with there strength and surprise impact !!! ...Also the emotions, well another woah !! as they came across roaring straight into my heart and mind as Ingrid Seymour did it again ! My emotions was completely taken over by the storyline with your main M/C’s characters depth and emotions...my eyes leaked without my notice or permission as I tried to be strong like Toni, however I had no control and just blubbered out loud at the injustice of life...but please that ending was just gobsmackingly surprising and if the truth is not revealed soon I will be marching into your pages and telling you know who !!! Truly this book is like watching a fireworks display the whole way through ! Bring on book.2. asap please 🙏🙏🙏

This was a great introduction to a new series. I love the main character, Toni (who is spunky and funny like other mains Mercy Thompson or Charlie Davidson). One of my favorite quotes from the book is "But whatever, he could take a major hike up Screw-You Mountain, for all I cared."

The world itself is fun, with a modern urban fantasy without a lot of unnecessary world building.

My favorite character has to be the BFF Rosalina, who is a genuinely great person and clearly will go to bat for her friends. Love to see that kind of support. And tbh, I wouldn't be mad about this developing into a romantic relationship...

I'm definitely waiting on the edge of my seat for the continuation. Book one was honestly a bit too short, I could have read through them all at once I think!

Ingrid Seymour is back with the first book, The Tracker's Mate: Sunderverse, in a new series, Mate Tracker, and that’s a wonderful thing indeed. This author just “gets” how to do urban fantasy right. Great plots, action, world-building and characters are her hallmarks and that’s definitely found here. I love the world she’s created for this series, with its realistically built witches, shifters, vampires, and fae, and her characters, from the fantastic lead (Toni Sunder, the eponymous tracker) and supporting characters (especially the perfectly crafted Jake and Rosaline). Totally fun. Even the start of what looks like a nice slow burn romance. Yum. I’m totally looking forward to book 2 and happily recommend this one.

This is a really interesting world that Ms. Seymour is creating. I love Tony's character. The way her magic works is so creative. Her interactions with Jake are more than a little heartbreaking. I really think the unsung hero in this story is Rosalina. Her steadfastness as a friend and her compassion for others is really amazing. There is a great mystery that had just begun with this book. I can't wait for the next one!

I thought this was an original book with a great heroine! I was kinda disappointed when Jake tells her that he decided to leave her because she is not a werewolf thus cannot fulfill his legacy.... And she just says, I understand !!!! Honestly, I would hope that the writer would introduce another love interest besides him but reading the reviews to the next book it seems that she will still pursue him, that is just disappointing to me

I did a second reread in Feb 2022 - and have decided I have no idea what I was talking about. Everything I was confused by, just made more sense. Things that didn't click with me really clicked. Just goes to show being in the right headspace is the difference between loving and disliking a book....
Right, onto my revised review:
Intersting premise and mystery, if not slightly confused about the romance, but I loved it enough to see where it goes and I love seeing how the hate-to-love romance will develop. I couldn't really figure out what exactly she liked about the male lead, butttt, that also has been dying for some backgroynd dets I'm hoping for in book of 2. Overall it was a pretty fun read and I feel what's coming in future books is going to be epic after the setup. The mystery entertaining, and I figured it out early ish on, but that didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying the book. Oh, also there is an amazing plot twist or two at the end. It has me reaching for book 2 of the Tracker's Secret !

It had potential, but unfortunately this book was more frustrating than anything else for me. The main characters motivations, troubles and goals just didn’t hold enough weight to me. She seemed to make very non-trouble things seem far more problematic than they had to be. The romance… it didn’t feel like a romance at all, there was no chemistry and the forced attraction got boring by the second mention. The whole backstory of him leaving and her being brokenhearted didn’t really work when I couldn’t for the life of me connect with it. It felt extremely tell don’t show… and thus made her heartbreak seem excessively overdramatic.

(The priest thing… I was practically yelling at her. What what the problem?! There was none, but she had to make it one. Just… urgh, that was a particular standout)

I hate leaving such a negative review, but I needed an outlet for these feelings I had..

So yeah… if you’re at all picky about MC reasoning and maturety? Skip this and find something else

Het verhaal had een prettige opbouw en schrijfstijl. Ik vond de drama tussen de jongens wat minder maar verder leuk boek! Het einde is open dus ik ben benieuwd naar deel 2!

I couldn't put it down. Even though the beginning was a bit confusing and I had to check was this really book one in the series after a few pages I figured it out and I became enthralled in the world of Toni. What an interesting world where all creatures can live and be known to each other. I love how humans and paranormal beings can co-exist in a world and the government knows about it and excepts it.

Toni is a Tracker - which means she has the ability to find people. When she first found out about her ability she used it to find people that were lost but she soon realized she wanted to use her gift for happier reasons. She opens up a Mate Tracker Agency with her friend Rosalie and they only accept human clients wanting to find their true love. As much as Toni is successful in finding mate's for her clients she is not very successful in her own love life.

Jake her first love - who happens to be a werewolf - broke her heart and she never really recovered so when he enters the picture again Toni is ready to pack her bags and move to China. But Jake has a request, he wants Toni's help to find a kidnapped werewolf.

Will Toni go back to her old days of looking for a kidnapped person. She is happy being a mate tracker and looking for making a name for herself with the more elite clientele. Kidnap victims and runaways are not on her list of things to look for. But can she refuse her first true love when he asks for help?

Ingrid Seymour writes in a way that has you sitting on the edge of your seat wanting to figure out what might happen next. This is a riveting Young Adult, paranormal, clean story, that is fun to read and I cannot wait to read the next in the series.
