I received this book from the author.
I read the first chapter and was messaging Jillian how hilarious this book is. Seriously I snort laughed so many times in this book!
Cricket is so damn funny and off the wall, but I loved her so much. Once you get past her wild and crazy side you see a woman who wants to be loved for her but is so scared of being loved. Her life hasn’t been great, and she hides it well. However, her insane attraction to her friend’s brother changes that for her in an instant.
Theo is a total sick in the mud. He goes boxing with his sister and takes notice of the wild instructor immediately. When she just shoves her way into his life, he is not happy but also not unhappy about it. The only issue is…he can’t get involved with her given he is investigating her father’s dirty dealings.
The dates the two go on…had me in stitches!! I mean shut up!! I couldn’t stop giggling while reading!! The story of Theo’s investigation takes on the majority of the end of the story but seeing them try to be together through it all was well worth the read.
Seriously I would love to read a book about Jessica, Theo’s sister, because this insane family needs more wild in their lives.

Ever been on a bad date? This book is laugh out loud funny. Theo is a straitlaced forensic accountant, and with interference from his well-meaning sister, he finds himself agreeing to four dates with the free-spirit Cricket, unicorn socks and all. When the first date ends in disaster to exponential proportions, Theo is convinced Cricket and her ways are not for him. Cricket and her ways, however, have begun to undo some of his lacing, and he finds himself against a rock and a hard place because of his job. There is so much craziness to these dates, you can't help but wonder if someone has experienced such a thing. The story is fun, romantic, and just the thing to bring you out of the doldrums.

I found Four Rounds to be a nice treat during these uncertain days. I appreciated the humor and unlikely romance of Cricket and Theo. Although the couple found themselves entangled in comical situations, they also shared deep passion for each other. Thanks, Jillian, for whisking me away on this fun romantic comedy ride!

I loved this so hard! Four Rounds is the right amount! Cricket is crazy hilarious and funny but beneath all the spunk and sarcasm is a woman that wants to be loved, completely. Theo is by the books and mostly business. Their paths cross when Cricket basically kicks Theo’s butt when he attends a kickboxing exercise class that Cricket teaches. The banter, right from the start, is freaking hilarious. I laughed out loud many many times, so great! Theo doesn’t really get a chance to decline but has signed up for four dates with Cricket, at her insistence. He is very conflicted as he is investigating a case that her father is involved in. He knows he should stop but can’t. And OMG, these dates! If anything could go wrong, it does. And they just can’t stop it from happening. “I’m hysterical. I can’t control what’s happening right now There’s a murder scene of sauce everywhere, your bits are likely charred, and I’ inappropriately turned on by you smelling like fried cheese.” The sexual innuendos, sarcastic comments and hilarious banter do not stop. Even when stuff hits the fan, these two make it out alive. Not necessarily unscathed but they make it out...together. This is a fun, fast paced read that will have you laughing so hard while keeping your heart happy. A must read!

A delightful and funny start to a relationship...

What a funny and bizarre way to fall in love! This is a story of opposites attract. Cricket is a talk show host and boxing trainer. Theo works with numbers and is the lead investigator with the police. There are many hilarious exploits as they first meet and through their "Four Rounds".
