Amanda Sowers was born and raised in the Midwest. She currently resides in South Dakota with her daughter, her dog, and three cats. She spends her days working as a customer service representative and her evenings plotting people's murders, for book purposes of course.

Having experienced childhood trauma, she has a passion for spreading awareness for domestic violence, suicide, and sexual assault prevention. Through her tales of mystery and suspense, she hopes to shine light on these very real issues and maybe even change someone's life.

This is the 2nd Declan Holder book I have read. Each chapter has the name of the person speaking whats going on thru out the whole book. Leah almost 16 years old was going to spend the summer helping out on her grandparents Winery. She used to go there alot when she was a child. She meets a helping hand out in the fields introduced by her grandfather. He was gorgeous Leah thought to herself . Wow what a great summer Im going to have. Her and Evan did work together on different project at the winery. One time they went for a break on the job and went to lunch. They kissed that day but she still didnt know how much older he was than her. They decided not to let anyone know about them. Leah went home after Evan disappears some where at the end of the summer. Many years later she went back . Well she found out what happened to Evan and so much more shocking things that happened in her time there that summer.

Love all these books in this series!

I absolutely love all that Amanda has put on the table with these books. They always keep me wanting to read more. Great Author and great books.
