This kindle e-book novella is from my Kindle Unlimited account book 2 in the series
Rachel is searching for her sister with detective Carlton. They keep talking to people who knew Peter but nobody knows where he is. Hailey is being held by Peter in a basement. Rachel meets with Peter's mother and learns about a cabin in Montana. Continued in book 3.
I am a little disappointed that the series did not end in book 2. But now I look forward to book 3.
I would recommend this series to readers of family and friends relationship adventure mystery novels. 2024 👒😡😎🏠
I can’t with the endings. This book was like 103 pages and ended so abruptly… why not make it a little longer? It was good, but again I feel like it was a Wattpad read. I feel like I got zero answers. Am I going to read the next one, yeah probably. Is he doing a good job at making people read his books, yeah, but do I want to? Not really, I just want to know if Haylee (or however he spells it) is found.
This was the second book of a series, first being ‘Stolen Away’. Once again, this book was very fast paced and I read it within a few hours over several days due to only being 130 pages long.
The book ended on yet another cliffhanger and now you have to wait for book 3 to find out if she is found. I feel like this could have been merged into one big book rather than over several small ones.
As per my review on book 1, this is not something I would ideally recommend for anyone to read, as it was just okay 2⭐️.
