Merissa Elizabeth is a curious amalgam of a responsible adult and an unshakable deviant with a penchant for humor, wit, and sarcasm. She is a voracious consumer of fiction in all its splendid forms. You will often find her face buried in a comic or graphic novel, interspersed with an assortment of books from all genres; she has a diverse palate, after all. She has a notable lack of pride, ego, shame, decorum, a filter, or formal wear, making her the ideal candidate for expulsion from polite society. She is both the epitome and embodiment of a libra pig, so stay vigilant; ridiculousness is never far from this aspiring author with delusions of grandeur.
Short, sweet, sexy and spicy!!! You get a little bit of everything in this cute little package. Definitely a good poolside or beach read! Go check this one out, it was a wild ride for sure!
I read this for a review team I'm on. When I started the book I didn't realize this was a novella. Opps.
Novellas are in a way harder than books bc you see less so the author has less time to bring you in and get your interest for her characters and story. Because of that I expect different things from a novella than a novel.
This story at first had me so confused it took me a few chapters to try to piece things together. But overall the storyline was a little confusing in general. Something was missing. However from page one these two were on fire. If you are looking for hot steamy times this story has it in spades.
Two things that got me was his nickname for her (kid), that was a turn off. And the other was the ending.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read, with lots of 🌶️ With this book, we get a look at the building of the relationship between these two characters, and then, present time, them finding their way back to each other. If you like a book with lots of spice, this one is for you. The spice starts out in the first little bit.
I definitely love how this book was written and I enjoyed it so much I liked how it put fractures of their relationship when they are together and the spice was so good I highly recommend this book
Do you like smut AND want a happy ending? Well, that is what this book is.
Guy meets girl.
Guy loses girl.
Guy finds girl again and sexy times ensue!
It has real love.
Real sex.
And a real sense of how infuriating true love can be.
I realize not everyone enjoys romantic erotica, but if you're up for a good time, might I suggest my novella? #SecondChanceRomance #SweetSmut #HFN #FastBurn
I did not realize this was a novella so that’s on me. This book had all the ingredients to be a five star read… likable characters with good dynamics, spice, good writing. I felt the ending was rushed/abrupt and I really wish I had gotten a few more chapters. That being said I loved the writing style and the spicy scenes and would absolutely read a full length book from this author with a little more character development and a conclusive ending to the story.
I enjoyed the spice and the writing. But I do think it lacked showing how they are inextricably linked. I think a little less spice and more of how they are connected would have been nice. It made them seem more like a hook up than a couple. And I got a little lost as to where they were sometimes. But that might just be me. 🥰 still a good read though.
I really enjoyed this sweet and spicy read. I wish there was a little more about how it ends but the whole thing was sweet. Definitely a good short read if you need a break from the heavy dark books.
