At the 2019 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, TODAY show anchor, Al Roker, had a hilarious run-in with a giant stick of butter that sent social media into a frenzy. With #butterman trending on Twitter, celebrities and noncelebrities alike remarked on the scene, which for many was the highlight of the parade. From that event, Donny Willis (a.k.a. the “Butter Man”) has been featured on the TODAY show and a variety of other media outlets.
Borrowing from that experience and many others in his life, Donny seeks to answer questions like: Can big dreams actually become reality? If so, do we just stumble into these dreams, or can we do something to nudge them along? Is it just sheer luck, or is there a science to making dreams come true?

"Good Butter Best" is a masterpiece. It will inspire, motivate, and encourage you to pursue your dream. I highly recommend it.

Wow! After reading this book, I now have a totally new perspective on my calling and dreams for what God wants me to for His kingdom. If you want to know how to step out of your comfort zone and pursue your calling and see your dreams become a reality? This book is definitely worth reading!! I needed to hear a lot of what was shared and I will continue to use it in my new journey that I will be stepping out on too. Thank you Bro. Willis for sharing your story, your heart, calling, and dreams!!

Butter makes everything better.
Donny comes out of the oven sizzling with his first book. Get some popcorn and get ready to drizzle some butter on it. Dreams are daunting and the little voice in our heads would love to convince us that if they can't come true today then they never will. What Donny offers is not the typical cheesy “if you dream it they will come” sort of motivational empty promises that leave you hopeful but lost in the woods. Instead, he gives practical advice from being able to identify a dream, to how to wait and be successful while your dream isn't fulfilled yet, to how to take practical steps towards your dream.
What makes this book so great is the genuine voice that comes through every word. Donny has a rare gift of being vulnerably honest and transparent through every high and low. At times tears came to my eyes, other times my wife was wondering why I was laughing so loudly, and yet throughout, I was hanging on to every detail of every story, illustration and word of advice given. Masterfully written. If butter makes everything best, then Donny’s genuine spirit is the butter that makes this book the best I've read on dreaming and one of the best in the broader genre of self help and being successful.
More than anything, Good butter Best is great life advice packaged in captivating storytelling. Even tough advice is delivered with bright smiles, thoughtful consideration, great humor, and genuine love. This is the rare read that keeps you up at night reading and not wanting to put it down. The only thing I didn't like is that the book ended! I want more!

This book was a wonderful read! There are so many practical principles within this book that, if applied, can make any dream become a reality! I daily use a planner and with so many great points, I am in the process of writing those in, to be able to reread them throughout the year! This book was also very entertaining and encouraging! I would highly recommend this book!

What an inspiring story written from a heart who lives to serve people. This book is full of encouraging words and stories (including the author’s own experience of being Butter in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and subsequent appearances on the Today show), each one meant to inspire the reader to write their own Good, Butter, Best story and see their own dreams become their reality.

I love this book. We chose this book as our first read in our new Book Club at our church! It's an easy read. I enjoyed Donny's story on how he became Butter Man. Most of all, I love every lesson he shared on his journey. He kept my attention from beginning to end. And now, I want to read it again! Donny most definitley put a smile on my face!

The [Butter] Man, the myth, the legend! This book is both enjoyable and inspirational! I probably highlighted more in it than in my textbooks when I was in school. Haha Awesome job, Donny! I highly recommend everyone read this!
