First of all the sample is rubbish. It’s only when you purchase this you can zoom in enough to read it.
As an avatar fan I was happy to stumble upon this in the dark horse app. The artwork is fair and acceptable and the storyline is good too. Good enough to get me to buy the next. I think there are 3 or 5 in this mini-series which is ok. I’ll definitely be purchasing the next one...today!

I've been waiting for this since 2010!
Set two weeks after the events of James Cameron's Avatar, Jake Sully is adjusting to his new life as a Na'vi leader, but not everyone is thrilled to have their leadership contaminated by the "sky people". While most humans have abandoned the mining base at Hell's Gate, a few remain and they seek peaceful coexistence with the natives, but they have needs of their own.
I enjoyed this almost as much as the film and really hope Disney doesn't do this franchise like they did Star Wars!

I love how they continued right after the first movie. 14 days after and Jake Sully is still trying to used to his new body so that was very nice to read and understand his mind more. then of course when Neytiri comes to comfort Jake and when Jake says “she knows my heart better than anyone”. they are everything!!

Wow, just like with the original movie, this comic is both incredibly boring AND not subtle about its messaging at all.... that's what we call a true adaptation of the source material right there! Also, the Navi moved their homes right next to the humans' base? Yeah, I'm sure THAT will work out well for everyone... may as well just skip on over to the nuclear explosion now.
