This is a brand new author (well, actually a pseudonym for a Bestselling author) that I stumbled across accidentally, and I was really impressed by the story. I am amazed that such a short novella could accomplish so much. It sets up a dark, mysterious world, while simultaneously introducing well developed characters, and starting a super hot romance. There is one scene in particular that just pushed all of my buttons, and - whew, yeah! It does have some darkness (murder, dubious consent) in it, and it also ends at a tense spot, so be warned if those things aren't for you. Part Two comes out on 2/4/21. I am looking forward to finding out what happens in this series, and in seeing what else this author comes up with!
I decided to read this trilogy after reading this author's short story in the Stalkers Anthology. A really well written novella, with a fast pace and well developed plot for such a short book. I moved straight onto the next book in the trilogy. Slightly dark, sexy read with believable characters.
Okay so it’s not that long but it packs a mighty punch! If you’re into dark romance and scenes of a very taboo and erotic nature then this is definitely the book for you! And fortunately this book is very much right up my alley, avenue and street!
Looking forward to diving into the next instalment!
I really enjoyed this episode. Eden was sold to a horrible man and had to survive so much. Eden feels she can only make a living one way after the death of Frank. Mav helps her find some happiness until the end. Can't wait to start the next book.
