Five years ago, Miriam lost her beloved Guardian, Ivar, and knew her life was over. After all, if a demon did not end her, she was certain her broken heart would. But now, a still grieving Miriam has chosen to dive wholeheartedly into her work as both a medical examiner and a powerful Medium who helps the dead when others can’t.
After a chance meeting through mutual aquantances, Matthias Braun - the Alpha of the coyote shifters - is drawn to Miriam immediately. He makes it his mission to heal the witch’s shattered heart, and Miriam reluctantly begins entertaining the hope of finding happiness once more. However, the Twin Cities are plunged into chaos as an ancient and long forgotten evil begins walking the earth once more while it leaves a trail of blood and chaos in its wake. Racing against the clock to stop this force of darkness, all of Miriam’s beliefs are called into question as it is revealed that nothing is as it seems.
One of the rare and elusive creatures known as a girl geek, AJ Ryder is an avid gamer, a voracious reader, and a lover of all things magical and fantastical. After years of thinking up sexy stories and hot, sensual characters of varying ilk in her head, she has decided to use her geeky, super powers for good and breathe life into them at last for the reading enjoyment of all.
Unique story. Loved it. Hope there’s more stories about Miriam and her guys. Miriam is a witch with unique powers and a medical examiner. She can speak to ghosts, which helps her solve murders, but she can also control life or death. She can kill with a word or bring someone back to life. Thank goodness she is a good witch who doesn’t abuse her powers. Magical witches have guardians and Ivar, her husband/guardian, died a senseless death five years ago. For five years she has mourned him, still has nightmares about his murder, and has vowed to never accept another guardian. But unbeknownst to her not only has another guardian been chosen named Mathias (who is a coyote shifter), but her former guardian Ivar never moved on and has been quietly watching over her, waiting until a new guardian comes to her. But what happens when the ghost of her old guardian communicates with her new guardian? Can they work together to keep her safe from the powerful demon she is trying to find and contain? And what will Miriam do when she learns they kept secrets from her? Great story, wonderful secondary characters. Matthias has feeling for Miriam who still mourns her late husband and Guardian. Witch Miriam had lost her husband and Guardian Ivar when he was shot while they were in the farmer market five years before and still mourns him deeply. She is a medical examiner who can see ghosts so she sees and talks to the spirits of the victims she is called to deal with.. She is called to a warehouse where there are multiple body and the witch in her soon realizes that there is more than murder going on in the building. A group of young women had open a Ouija board and had been killed before they could close it so things from the other side had been escaping for the three days since their deaths. Miriam knows there will be more problem to come. Coyote Shifter Matthias is Alpha of his pack and since he encounter Miriam he has had no interest in any other female but when he goes to kiss her she backs off and runs away and when he finds out about her late husband he knows it will be hard to win her over to the point where she will return his feelings.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and enjoyed every minute of it. Sharing the Witch is Book 3 of the Mystical Mates Series where we see Miriam, the witch, and Ivar, her Guardian, involved in a tragic incident. Miriam tries to come to terms with her guilt over this tragedy while also trying to solve a series of murders that has her using powers that she tries to keep to herself. Although this can be read as standalone, we get to revisit the Woodward sisters and their Guardians and meet Matthias and his brother. All of these lives intertwine and make for a battle with the powerful evil spirit, that is so well written that you can actually visualize it and keeps you on the edge of your seat. A great addition to this wonderful series.
Miriam is a medical examiner who is also a strong medium. Five years ago she lost her guardian and love, Ivar. Since then she has focused only on her work and the guilt she feels. Matthias is Alpha of the local coyote pack and feels an immediate draw to Miriam the first time he sees her. The next time they meet they both feel it but Miriam isn’t ready to move forward yet. Then they work together to battle a great evil and Matthias gets some very unexpected help. I really liked the characters. Miriam is a total badass and Matthias is amazingly supportive and accepting while being strong enough to match her. I also liked the Noah and Toby subplot, how brotherly to get caught by your little brother! I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
OMG, it just seems like I've been waiting forever to get this book. This is book three of A. J. Ryder's "Mystical Mates" series and trust me, it's well worth the wait. Of course, this can be read as a standalone with no problem but why would you want to when you'd miss all the deliciousness of the first two books? This time we see Miriam, a witch, and Ivar, her Guardian, are put through a tragedy with Miriam carrying a lot of guilt afterward. There is mystery, murder, intrigue, secrets, and a glorious fight between good and evil that kept me glued to the pages and perched on the edge of my seat. I can't say this enough: this was SO WORTH THE WAIT!!
*Spoilers* While this is not the typical type of book I read concerning shifters, I fell in love with all the characters. I loved the show Charmed and still do. There were so many similarities in this book that it took me back! Miriam is so mournful in the beginning that my heart hurt for her. Matthias’ character is built perfectly for her however. I was a little concerned towards the end about how Ivar would work in the situation but the author did an amazing job of bringing all the love together. Kudos to AJ Ryder for a job well done. I look forward to more of your books!

Sharing The Witch is book three in the Mystical Mates series and is Matthias and Miriam's story. After the loss of her Guardian Ivar, Miriam is still having a hard time dealing with the guilt and throws herself into her work. Matthias is the alpha of the coyote shifters and from the moment he meets Miriam he is taken by her. I loved the way her Guardian was woven into the Matthias and Miriam's story. The story is page turning with magic, mystery, action, love and it held my attention from beginning to end. The characters are interesting and look forward to reading the next book in this series. I hadn't realised until a third of the way through that this was a part of a series,it was so well written that it could easily be read as a stand-alone. I fully intend on reading the first book because the introduction to those characters in this book held my attention. Its a interesting world with likable main characters, the police detective aspect is really interesting. A highly recommended read.

First let me state that I received an advanced reader copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
Holy shiznet!!! This story is gr8. For 5 years Miriam mourned the death of her guardian/husband. The she meets Mathias and starts feeling things she's afraid of. Add in a fight against a demon and you have a gr8 story. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.
This book is as described in the blurb. However, the twists and turns to the storyline adds a significant depth that keeps your imagination fully entrenched in the novel. Written with enough detail that you can believe in what is happening, and with superb characters with brilliantly creative interactions, this book will leave you wanting more of the same.

At first I wasn't sure if I was gonna be into the book and then the further I got into it the more I liked it! I loved how after fighting her feeling for Matthias, Miriam gave into them and fell in love. I love that Matt and Ivar became so close and were ok with becoming one and sharing Miriam. Definitely a good book!

Loved this take on a widowed witch. The combination of Jewish mysticism & necromancy is a perfect blend. Prepare for uniquely steamy scenes. I think I need to see if there are more in this series, as I am hooked.

Wow, this story was fantastic. An emotional story which hits you with all the feels. This was my first read from this author, and I didn’t feel I needed to read books 1 or 2, the story stands really well as a standalone. It has been a while since a read a PNR and damn, I’m glad I picked this one up.

Sharing the witch was a great read. I really enjoyed the characters and storyline. I was taken for a wild ride through the whole book. I laughed at times and I also cried. There were times during the story I was felt what the characters were feeling.
Absolutely amazing story. Emotionally gripping, with a lot of action...mystery magic and love. Demons are freed and Miriam has to save the babies and world from the evilest of them all.
