Like an R-Rated "Goonies," "Spider Falls: Uncensored" recounts a tale of a group of teens on a dangerous treasure hunt for Native American gold. It is a children's story...for adults. As such, the teens of "Spider Falls" behave like real teenagers. They curse, they behave badly, and they mock the seriousness of the story itself.
Head troublemaker Roman Riekkan is a freshman in high school. He leads his rag-tag group of friends on a merry chase, pursued by an evil crime syndicate out for world domination. Roman and the syndicate both want the same thing: a cache of gold alloy coins from the Native American era -- gold mixed with a rare earth metal that could be used to enslave the world.
This silly dramedy is equal parts adventure and send-up of the genre. From sharks, to lava, to aliens, there's plenty to enjoy -- and laugh at.
