When the Crockett Foundation made their first public appearance at a wrestling convention, we never dreamed that we would be showered with the support of our fans after all of these years. We also had no idea how many pictures fans of Jim Crockett Promotions had in their personal collections. One of those fans at FanFest in Charlotte, NC was Eddie Cheslock. Eddie took pictures for years both ringside and back stage at wrestling events in the Richmond, VA area. Through his lens, Eddie captured professional wrestling’s best and brightest behind the scenes. Mr. Cheslock has graciously donated these pictures to the Crockett Foundation so that we can continue to pay for the veterinary cost of veteran’s pets and to help support grass roots veteran’s organizations across the country.Old School Rules, Volume 1, is the first book created from Eddie’s photographs. Volume One highlights wrestling legends Ricky Steamboat, the Rock and Roll Express and Magnum TA. By combining the Cheslock photographs with the original stores from Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Magazine, David Chappell, Bill Apter and Mike Mooneyham, this first book revisits story lines from the magazine while David, Bill and Mike add their insights through their interviews with these professional wrestling superstars.The Crockett Foundation hopes you enjoy Old School Rules, Volume 1, and as always, thank you for your support.
