WHAT AN EMOTIONAL STORY…
WHEW CHILE!!! I KNOW THERE WAS A DISCLAIMER BUT, I WAS NOT READY FOR THE ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS THAT CAME WITH READING THIS😔. THERE WERE SOME GRAMMAR ERRORS BUT IT DIDN’T TAKE AWAY FROM THE STORY.
KARMA CAME IN THE WORST AND BEST WAY FOR TREY AND KODI. TWO SICK DEVILS WHO PREYED ON A YOUNG GIRL/WOMAN WHO TRUSTED THEM. THEY GOT WHAT THEY DESERVED
SAHMIR MADE ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISTAKES OF HIS LIFE WHILE TRYING TO FIT IN WITH TREY PHUCK BOY AZZ. THE ONE HIGH MOMENT CAME BACK FULL CIRCLE. AS THE SAYING GOES "BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PRAY FOR" CAUSE GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS IT’S NOT ALWAYS IN THE WAY WE WANT👀
I AIN’T GONNA LIE AND ACT LIKE ISIS DIDN’T IRK TF OUT OF MY NERVES AT TIMES. LIKE MY HEART WENT OUT TO HER FROM JUMP, BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO HAVE YOUR INNOCENCE TAKEN. THEN TO THINK YOU’VE MET THE ONE TO TAKE THE PAIN AWAY ONLY FOR HIM TO BE AN EVER BIGGER MONSTER💔🥹. BUT SIS WAS SO BUSY BEING ANGRY THAT SHE STARTED DIRECTING IT TOWARDS THE WRONG PEOPLE. WHEN THE TRUTH CAME OUT AND EVERYTHING CAME FULL CIRCLE I WAS LIKE "LOOK AT GOD"😳. KWINN WAS A GREAT GUY BUT I DIDN’T FEEL ANYTHING BEATEN HIM AND ISIS🤷🏽♀️. I KNOW THAT WOULD’VE BEEN HELLA CRAZY BUT HER AND SAHMIR HAD WAY BETTER CHEMISTRY, BUT I GET IT. I WAS SO GLAD WHEN SHE FINALLY DECIDED TO SEEK THERAPY BECAUSE SHE WAS WEARING THAT ANGER LIKE A SECOND LATER OF SKIN AND SHE TRULY NEEDED TO LET THAT ISH GO. Short, But Wild, Read
Isis has been through some difficult life experiences. Given her history, she has become hardened and often pushes people away who care. In a fight or flight situation, she is given a reprieve by a stranger. This stranger, however, will uncover something that will bring Isis' life full circle. Jump into the gripping tale of Isis' as she figures out her life. You'll be introduced to a stellar crew as you read this super fast paced tale. Overall, I rate this book three out of five because the story itself was great. However, I think the story has the potential to be more developed and fleshed out. Sometimes the characters were not three-dimensional and the actions left you wondering why? There were some grammatical errors as well but they were insignificant enough to make sense of the sentence. I enjoyed this read.

Isis I don't even know where to begin, I can't even separate my emotions to put them on paper. Baby girl the things you endured, faced and came through 🙌🏾. I keep going back and forth, because I'm not quite sure if saying running into Sahara was the best thing that happened to you. I am happy that people who genuinely cared about you, surrounded you, no matter the circumstances. I really thought my head would blow off when you and Sahara left Auntie's house but I was able to keep it together long enough to finish your story. You didn't have to tell it, but you did and I'm sure it might just reach, touch and/or help quite a few people.

Heavy Heavy Heavy
This book was heavy and will have you emotional. Read the trigger warnings because this book isn’t for everyone! Isis went through so much and I mean a lot but she was able to mend herself together where others may have given up on life. If you read the trigger warnings and you are ok definitely read this one. The book will have you emotional at the prologue, but it is good to see someone overcome as much as Isis did. I would love an update book later on her healing journey.

This was a wild story. The men that initially sought to cause harm to her, met their maker! Isis was protected and didn’t even realize it. Though, she suffered, but that suffering didn’t last for long. She just had to stand her ground and make a choice to move forward. Poor Shamir. He took accountability immediately and repented. Each person that had done wrong in some way, took the initiative to grow and do better. Just one big family in the end.

Great story
This book was amazing and true to life. Isis recognized that if she did not leave kodi she would die. That act alone showed how strong and brave she was even though she did not see it.

Broken pieces
That was a lot for Isis to deal with, I’m glad she didn’t close herself off to love and got her son back in the process
