Royce “Strikeout” Stryker needs to get his game back before he’s out of the game altogether. From the moment he sees Dr. Tricia Reed, keeping his hands to himself becomes a problem, especially since part of the reason he’s been designated as a guinea pig for her research project is to gather information that might be used to shut her down. A computer program that could change baseball forever might be the ticket to his comeback—or could it be the sexy scientist running the project who holds the key to his future?

Tricia has staked everything she has—her money, her reputation and her future—on a computer program that, if proven, could change the lives of millions suffering from catastrophic injuries. Falling for the sexy pitcher she’s trying to help can only lead to disaster for both of them, but keeping a professional distance from Royce Stryker proves to be impossible. Could one indiscretion hold the answer to his problems and be the ruin of them both?

USA Today Best-Selling author Roz Lee is the author of over thirty romances. The first, The Lust Boat, was born of an idea acquired while on a Caribbean cruise with her family and soon blossomed into a five-book series originally published by Red Sage. Following her love of baseball, she turned her attention to sexy athletes in tight pants, writing the critically acclaimed Mustangs Baseball series.
Roz has been married to her best friend, and high school sweetheart, for nearly four decades. Roz and her husband have two grown daughters and are the proud grandparents to three adorable grandkids. Roz and her husband live in the wilds of New Jersey with their Labrador Retriever, Bud which is code for Big Unruly Dog.
Even though Roz has lived on both coasts, her heart lies in between, in Texas. A Texan by birth, she can trace her family back to the Republic of Texas. With roots that deep, she says, “You can’t ever really leave.”
When Roz isn’t writing, she’s reading, or traipsing around the country on one adventure or another. No trip is too small, no tourist trap too cheesy, and no road unworthy of travel.

As a pitcher, Royce needs to be able to throw strikes and get outs, but since his divorce he seems to have m=lost more than just the plate. When the team decides to bring in Dr. Tricia Reed to aid Royce in figuring out just what is going wrong it is more than just her electrodes that hook up. But can the two be willing to continue their hot and heavy romance knowing that it will destroy any hopes of her computer program from getting off the ground? Or will Royce be the exact thing she needs to promote not only her findings but her heart as well? With great characters and a storyline that was entertaining from the opening pages this was a great read.

I love Texas, and as the home of Roz Lee’s Mustangs Baseball team, it’s where I want to be.

With so many talented, hard-bodied, uber sexy athletes in one place, what more could a girl want? Well other than one of my own (“swoon”).

STRIKE OUT is book 6 in the series and continues the plight of the boys from Texas and the predicaments they face as professional sportsmen.

Royce is your typical gorgeous male, but he is in a performance slump since the divorce from his high school sweetheart. His career is on the line, but that doesn't mean he's happy being relegated to the status of guinea pig to find his mojo.

Tricia is a perky waif; with a university degree and desperate to prove her computer program works, not only her livelihood but also her reputation lies in the balance. But if all goes to plan, she will successfully determine what Royce's problem is and prove her competence in the eyes of her peers.

So imagine a mostly naked, 6-foot plus virile male, a woman who is definitely not blind, and a whole lot of physical contact with electrodes and body parts, and you’ve got a combustible environment.

For this pitcher, striking out was never an option!

Strike Out is book 6 in the hot Mustang baseball erotic romance series.....in this story we follow pitcher Royce "Strike Out" Stryker. Royce is in a slump after his divorced from his wife and having trouble getting his mojo back.

Dr. Tricia Reed is doing a research project using a computer program designed by her. She hopes her findings using the Mustang ball players could one day help those with serious injuries. However, the players are fearful the information gathered could jeopardize their careers.

When Royce first sets eyes on the beautiful Dr. Reed, he's instantly attracted to her. Tricia is an intelligent, spunky, petite female and "Strike Out" has set his radar on having her for his own. It doesn't take long before the sexy Dr. finds herself drawn to the hot ball player....what follows is some very steamy lessons in the art of lovemaking.

Will Tricia find what ails the sexy pitcher for the Mustangs?...and will this story have a happy ending and hit one out of the park? Get this cute hot romance and find out!!

Star pitcher for the Dallas Mustangs, Royce “Strike Out” Stryker has been in a serious pitching slump since his divorce. He’s trying hard to regain what he’s lost, but so far nothing has worked.
He’s assigned to be a research subject for an expert in neuro biology who is working with the team for a month. It’s a long shot, but the team manager hopes maybe the expert can help him out of the slump.
The expert is Dr.Tricia Reed, and when Royce shows up for his first appointment, the chemistry between them is instant and powerful. Sexual sparks quickly ignite into full blown passion. The sex is red hot, sometimes in risky places, and a bit of mild kink added in makes it even steamier. But the relationship puts their professional careers in jeopardy.
To make matters worse, Tricia sees Royce with another woman. It confirms her suspicion that she was never more than a convenient sexual diversion for him.
Can Royce and Tricia overcome all these obstacles to find a happy ending? You’ll have to read this home run hit by Roz Lee to find out.

This book started out a little slow for me but once it got going it was good. In a slump Royce is used as a guinea pig & a spy for management for a new computer program to help athletes return to their top form of play. Dr. Tricia Reed is a young, genius of a woman. Graduating from school at a very young age she holds degrees in many things but Physiology is where she's working. Working with athletes has never been a problem for her until Royce, he makes her feel things she's never felt before & Royce is just getting over a divorce from his high school sweetheart, which he feels is the problem for his slump. Things move at lightening speed between Tricia & Royce & they find themselves in a situation that could ruin both of their careers if they're found out. Feelings aren't spoken & feelings are hurt when Tricia sees Royce with another woman. Has all they had been just a trick? Did any of it mean anything? Definitely love this series.

Strike Out (Mustangs Baseball #6) by Roz Lee Take one major league pitcher in a slump, one cute Ph.D on a research mission, add some sizzling chemistry and you get Roz Lee's STRIKE OUT. I'm a huge baseball fan and know way more about the sport than some. I tend to shy away from sports romances because I have a thing about accuracy. That was not a problem with this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the baseball, the hot sexy bits, and I was rooting not only for the hero Royce Stryker, to find his mojo but for him to find his HEA with Dr. Tricia Reed. While certain parts of this erotic romance might make a reader squirm, it's not over the top. 4.5 stars

I liked it. Not a fan of baseball, but I still enjoyed this blend of sweet and sensual chemistry between Royce and Tricia. It was a short read, and I did wish for more time with the characters. The overall book moved at a fast pace, and while the sex scenes did not scorch my ereader, they were very steamy with a very sweet undertone of need that made for a light but good erotic read.
