Hair Test Finding Hidden Toxicities is a practical book. The book starts out telling you how to interpret a hair test for mercury and other heavy metals. It provides a step by step discussion of this with figures to make this easy to do. It gives examples using actual hair test results from real people. Mercury interferes with how the hair element results come out ? mercury is often low and other minerals take unusual values. It is crucial for proper hair test interpretation to know how to recognize mercury’s characteristic signature. Mercury often causes retention of certain minerals. Arsenic, antimony, tin, titanium, zirconium and aluminum are elements many people retain too much of when they really have a mercury problem. Hair tests are worth doing because a surprising number of people diagnosed with incurable chronic health conditions actually turn out to have a heavy metal problem. Heavy metal problems are easy to correct. Hair testing allows the underlying problem to be identified and the chronic health condition often disappears with proper detoxification.

About the author

Andrew Hall Cutler, PhD, PE is the author of Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment and also of Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicities. These books are described at www.noamalgam.com and www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html . He has a PhD in chemistry from Princeton, a BS in physics from the University of California. He is a registered patent agent and a licensed professional chemical engineer. He knows firsthand what can happen when you get mercury poisoning. He’s experienced the devastating ‘mystery syndrome’ and had doctor after doctor scratch their head in puzzlement and send him away. After finding out that the mercury in his amalgam fillings was the source of his terrible illness he was able to read the medical literature and determine a chemically sensible procedure to get well. This pioneered the rational use of chelators for heavy metal toxicity. The results of his experience and research culminated in writing the book Amalgam Illness on how to cure mercury poisoning, and the Hair Test Interpretation book on how to use a painless and inexpensive test to check for the toxic effects of a wide variety of elements. He currently works as a detox consultant and continues writing books.

This is the companion volume to Cutler's seminal Amalgam Illness book.

Cranky, obstinate & brilliant, Dr Cutler takes us through the analysis of hair to determine poisoning by one heavy metal or another, & thereafter the road to health.

Heavy metal poisoning can occur through dental amalgams, vaccines & a hundred other routes, & is rarely diagnosed. To diagnose yourself, you need to be armed - & this book is the weapon.

Despite a title which is roughly as exciting as The History of Concreting in Sweden, this is an extraordinarily important book, as it digs into one of the great hidden epidemics of the era.

My health has soared since reading this book & following Cutler's advice re chelating out heavy metals such as mercury, lead & cadmium.

Anyone in indifferent health who is struggling to diagnose causes would be well advised to leaf through HTI.
