FINALLY!!

Second attempt at this book. Although the translation makes it a bit hard for me to enjoy it fully, this volume is so much more interesting than the first one. I keep on getting drawn towards Chase and I don't really know why. I've had my fair share of "difficult" semes but towards him, I feel very... maternal? I don't even know the word. He's not as bad as he seems. And I can't wait for him and Josh to have their secrets and fears revealed.

I know ive said this before but Joshua the man that you are. I love that as the volumes progress we truly see the main characters fall in love. And it’s truly beautiful to witness.
But you know what’s criminal.. the damn cliffhanger. Sigh 10/10. I’ll just leave it at that, with no spoilers. This book series is truly captivating.

so isaac likes josh but josh likes chase. chase now likes josh. henry likes isaac but isaac’s feelings for him are still unknown. seth knows about isaac’s feelings for josh and henry’s feelings for isaac…

seth knows everything and he’s so nonchalant. this man has known for the past 3 years that josh is an omega and he’s so chilled. I would not be shocked if he’s the first one to find out about chase and josh or that chase is pete’s father.

This volume was so incredibley frustrating... Sexually lol.
I believe now that Zig likes to make her characters go to the hospital or be hurt due to guns, explosions, accident. It's not bad though, the translation I read it from made it difficult to understand these scenes.
I hope volume 3 won't disappoint!

Les juro que Chase me da mucha ternura. Osea si tiene su carácter, pero por su pasado me dan ganas de abrazarlo fuertemente y no dejar que nadie le haga daño (Igual que Josh)... 🫶

Joshua is hands on a masochist for liking Chase

The vibes are there, but I still can’t get past the fact Zig could have written Chase more likeable, knowing his past doesn’t justify his actions but it was a good slow burn to watch Chase fall in love with Josh, it’s just like Kiss me Liar to be honest, fast change of mind between the characters. The cliffhanger was cliffhanging, thankfully I have the full novel because waiting for the next volume would have been hard.

Glad to see some development between the main couple. Also was nice to see more into Chase’s past to understand the reason behind his actions. It was really sad to see how caring Chase was when he was little, but because of his family, the way he acts ends up being distorted.

Josh protecting Chase during the coyote attack, okay we stand for strong omegas. The way Chase ends up protecting him after trying to hold him close was super cute.

I also like that Josh thinks about Chase as well when imagining Peters face, they are both his babies!!

Anyways I enjoyed this one more than the first volume since there was more development and you understand Chase better!

En este segundo tomo, inicia con el ataque de una jauría de coyotes hacia Josh.
Josh es el único que queda para proteger a Chase y lo hace magistralmente. Cuando son rescatados, Josh se desmaya y Chase se vuelve loco.
Desde este momento Chase siente atracción por Josh.
Días después del incidente tienen intimidad y desde ese momento Chase desea a Josh solo para él.
Josh descubre la verdad atrás de los traumas de Chase y decide que protegerá siempre a ese hombre.
Pasa un tiempo en buenos términos, Chase accidentalmente escucha que Josh tiene un hijo y poco después es secuestrado.
Josh y el resto de guardaespaldas lo salvan pero se descubre el secreto de Josh, es un Omega marcado.
Chase ahora entiende el porque de ciertas cicatrices y sus celos, le confiesa su amor a Josh. Josh decide mostrarle a su hijo y le revela que es hijo de ambos, de la marca que le dejo, el amor que siente por Chase y le pide matrimonio.
La historia continua con muchos extras. Los primeros son de una alfombra roja y la pasión de ambos.
Bastante explícito en los momentos de pasión, a mi me encantó.

J'adore trop leur histoire cst trop magnifique. Le fait que Josh continu de draguer Chase est tellement hilarant lol.

J'ai hâte d'en savoir plus sur l'enfance de Chase. D'ailleurs Grayson prepare Toi Bien car cst le tiens. Jspr être dans ta tête pour te comprendre un peu mieux.

Les parents de Chase vraiment cst de la merde par contre. Même sa fratrie.

Jspr voir enfin la rencontre entre Chase et Pete. Avoir plus de moment en famille aussi et surtout que Chase découvre enfin que oui Josh est son omega.

Par contre Isaac sache que tu n'as aucune chance tout simplement car Josh n'aime et n'aimera que Chase. Pauvre Henri mais bon il pourra toujours trouvé un autre amoureux qu'Isaac.

Ok si me gustó más. Al final, que Josh haya defendido a Chase de los coyotes tuvo que pasar para que Chase sintiera aunque sea un poco de culpa por saber q Josh dvd se estaba arriesgando por él.

AND I MEAN, ya sé q ambos ya han tenido relaciones (obvio, sino cómo se explica la criatura de Pete JAJAJAJAJJA) Pero al leer el beso que comparten los dos me dejó 🥺

N e way, tmb fue una sorprenda ver a los dos personajes de Kiss Me Liar, q por lo que sé son unos tóxicos pero saber un poco de su background como pareja desde la perspectiva de Josh y Chase es un toque interesante (eso no quiere decir que quiera leerlo, no estoy para mucha toxicidad)

Su progreso es cada vez más precioso, amo muchísimo como Chase cae al segundo y se deja ir como gorda en tobogan, es preciosísimo, Josh como siempre salvando el día y su amor también me hace llorar, ser capaz de matar por su wey lo hace tan bello que me enamoró de su amor, Chase me duele demasiado, paso por mucho en una casa llena de lunáticos, mi bb fue traumado full por el imbecil de Grayson (a quien nunca voy a leer y memos entender), pero como busca constantemente ser diferente a sus hermanos es lo que lo hace especial, te amo Chase.
