The manhwa led me here due to not being patient and this is definitely the best decision, this series was a great read, Josh the one protecting Chase and Chase being the big puppy❤️

This one was a mixed one!

We started off really strong with the reveals finally happening! Chase meeting Josh's Mom and sister was really cute and the bodyguard friends finding out was funny. Pete warming up to and shockingly realizing that Chase was his dad without anyone telling him was a good moment as well. I also liked how they dealt with the dog trauma. Despite Chase knowing the truth, you don't just get over that trauma so quickly. He was still scared and although he wanted to get over it for Pete, Josh told him he didn't have to. Loved that!

But then the majority of the back end of the volume was Josh's past. I skimmed through it all because I wasn't sure why we were being told all of this backstory all of a sudden but then it was clear after a few chapters that it was Josh's manifestation story. I get that the author wanted to emphasize that Josh was still a strong person despite being an omega and that the girls still loved him but we already knew that from the main story so it felt a bit unnecessary. I did like to see Josh's strong friendship with his teammates but I think that was the only real upside of the whole thing.

I was impatient and decided to read the novel lol. The story was amazing overall, love their dynamics always ate this kind of trope. I'm just disappointed that we never get to witness the wedding. I really thought we'll get it on the epilogue of the side story 2 but we got some unnecessary backstory about Josh and Emma instead? I didn't really enjoyed reading that. I was looking forward to more family thingy and them two being domestic now that Pete have accepted Chase as his father and more about Cecil too being born. I hope they add more.

Aunque estuvo bien y entretenido (y siempre es agradable leer el pasado de los personajes) estaba full ansiosa de leer más de mis niños juntos que me decepcione un poquito, y leer a Josh en mood galán me dio arcadas ajsjsjajaj, igual me gustó, solo que esperaba mucho más, ojalá algún día Zig se anime a darnos unos cien extras más de mis preciosos, los ame muchísimo, junto con Payback y Define the Relationship son las únicas historias que me han llenado al punto de correr a buscar sus novelas, los amo muchísimo, mis preciosos bebés Chase Miller y Joshua Bailey tienen un cachito de mí.

la vvd si me gustó, está bastante bien. Cómo dije en otras reseñas, no es la vaina más sana del mundo, pero es una buena novela, cumple con su función la cual es entretener y pues sumergirnos en el turbio mundo de Zig.

Se anunciaron nuevos extras de la novela, lo cual indica que seguiremos viendo más de Chase y Joshua en el futuro, sooo, lo recomendaría pero tienen que tener la mente muy abierta y mucho ojo crítico pq la neta el Josh y Chase son bien raritos, más Josh
