I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
I do enjoy when I see a new Red book shows up. This one is about the one and only Cowboy Master Anderson. I do enjoy reading about this happy go lucky fun-loving jokester. I never know what I’m going to get with Red is it going to be present time and see the character get his HEA or will we go back to the beginning to get a glimpse of what influenced them into the character they are today.
This story takes us back to Master Anderson and college days with Thane and Durov. Anderson loves with all his heart and projects his feelings. He is all about his family, no matter if it is his blood relative or the family he picked in Thane and Durov.
We get to see Master Anderson expand his talents and learn more about himself. He finds himself in a new situation with Thane and Durov away and the secret he is holding onto. Master Anderson dives into his studies after making a slight change to his major.
I love reading about his antics and to see some of his prank’s backfire is a hoot. I love that his family is so close and you can see where he gets his humor from. Just like when Thane visited the farm was memorable so was the time that Durov spent there. I may have teared up just a bit in a few of Durov interactions with Andersons family.
We get a sneak peek at the Submissive Training Center and the first meeting of Master Anderson and Tono. We are also introduced to a Dom, Dominus, that mentors Master Anderson and becomes someone that Anderson holds dear to his heart.
I enjoyed seeing the fun-loving side of Master Anderson but we get to see he is so much more in this book. He is determined knows what he wants and will do what ever it takes to get it done. He knows when he needs to step back and spend a little extra time with his family. We would all be lucky to have a Cowboy like Master Anderson as a brother.

5 Star Review of The Cowboy’s Secret by Red Phoenix
Having met Master Anderson in the previous books I was excited when I learnt that his story was coming. The Cowboy’s secret was everything I was hoping for and so much more.
Red Phoenix writes with such passion , heart and soul that you cannot help but become invested in her characters. This book is about the younger Master Brad Anderson, a man who is struggling on a number of fronts and his journey with BDSM.
For fear of accidentally spoiling this book, my review will be brief. This is a book you need to read and experience for yourself. It is a book about love and all family; a family that is not necessarily blood, but one that is deep and true.
There were moments where I laughed and moments where I cried. It was wonderful to see some familiar faces and it was fascinating to read his journey as he grew into the wonder Dom that we know and love.

My my love for Red’s books runs deep. Her books are fun, loving, kinky and creates a true escape.
I love the dynamics all the characters have created and more Master Anderson is a gift that keeps on giving.
I didn’t get a tremendous amount of character growth here and times I was rereading stories already told. Brad and his bull whip and large asset, his gregarious personality, prankster big heart are known and loved. I didn’t feel that beyond being mentored by Dominus that this story was different.

Hold on to your panties
I fell in love with a cowboy tonight . This story of Master Anderson will have you doubling over with laughter one minute and curled up in a weeping ball the next. This is story is a complete amusement park of emotions and a downright good read. You will want to pack a kit for this one , include towels , tissues, snacks and something to drink. You will not want to get up until you finish it.

We all know Master Anderson, the fun-loving cowboy dom who is such a special part of the Submissive School family and proud fur daddy. But we don't really know him - yet.
In the Cowboys Secret, Red gives us young Brad, struggling to navigate university, life, family, friends and finding his own path in the world as both a Dom and a man with a healthy appetite and a ginormous... heart.
Now I'm not going to tell you what happens within the pages Red has created for us - you'll want to experience that all for yourself without me spoiling anything. What I am going to share is how I feel about the book and in fact the series - something I did not have the words to describe until now.
This book is first and foremost, as is our young Master, about family. The family you're born to and the family who come to you as you make your way in life. We get to know the Anderson family as well as meeting new members of the Dom family that join Brad for the journey he is navigating within these pages. You will laugh - A LOT. But then this is Master Anderson at his cheekiest so of course, you will. You will cry - because Red always makes us all cry. You will smile, you will hurt, you will stand and cheer him on when he graduates college... Because this is not just a book. These are not just characters on pages. I have realised reading more and more of the Sub School stories that these people that Red has brought into my life, into all of our lives... They are my friends. My family. They are there when I need them. They make me laugh, they make me smile. They bring my comfort and they not only allow me to be me and encourage me every step of the way. Red has allowed us all to be part of the Sub School family, her family, and I'm thrilled to be part of the Anderson family as I cheer them on to rise above any challenges Brad and the gang face.
I'd say he's like the brother I always wanted... but I'm craving some of his 'Morning Wood' and maybe you'll think that's inappropriate of me. But then again, Master Anderson has always had the best 'meat' around, and who amongst us doesn't want to have his juicy meat in our mouths?

The Cowboys Secret was everything I wanted, and everything I didn’t know I wanted and needed all wrapped up in a heartfelt, but very sexy package. (Speaking of “package “…. WOWZA! ;)
I’ve always enjoyed Red’s character, Brad “Master Anderson “ in her previous books. Was so happy to finally get to know what made this BDSM DOM the man he is today. His backstory Red writes with all her heart, passion, and that wonderfully creative brain of hers.
Master Anderson’s story is all about family. He’s 100% family man first and foremost! Either his family (Mom, Dad, little sisters) back at their ranch in Colorado, or his family he created in college in LA. with his friends and fellow Doms, Thane and Durov. I was so deeply moved with the lengths Brad would go to help keep his family’s ranch from going under, and also maintaining being there for his friends in their own major crises. I cried so hard with Durov and him in one particular chapter… so touching! My heart swelled so many times. We also see him broaden his Dom side and treated to some seriously sexy as sin scenes with his famous BDSM skills with his bullwhip. HOT AS HELL! I really enjoyed getting to know the new Dom, Dominus, that becomes a mentor of sorts to Brad. Such a touching story. Brads friendship with him was fun to hear, and loved the relationship this man had with his many devoted Subs.
Connor Crais did such an exceptional job with his narration. His extreme laid back, fun loving, upbeat portrayal of Brad was pure perfection. But…. when he was doing “Master Anderson “ … just YUM, deliciously sexy! Such a commanding performance. Great job sir, very sexy and hot indeed! I loved his accents he did for both Durov and Dominus. I think I might have liked these the best.. ;)
This book was all I love about Reds books! Good dirty/filthy fun, great emotional range. I would love my own Brad Anderson of my own please and thank you. He’s the total package to me.
I cannot wait to see where his “secret” takes him and his family and friends! I know Red will not disappoint! Love ya Red!!

Master Anderson has always been my favorite Dom. Not that the others are any less of course, it's just there's something a little more (for me) about Brad. Not just his humor or his honor, maybe it's his caring, love and emotions that he feels for everyone he meets. When you mean something to him you are considered family. He's the whole package and his "will give you the shirt off of his back if you need it" personality is sure to win over any situation that comes along.
This book is truly fantastic!! Once again, Red Phoenix has brought us into the world of her characters and we happily follow along. Right from the start we are enjoying the ups and downs of your favorite Doms as they muddle through college life. We get to enjoy the visits to the dungeon through Master Anderson's eyes this time and the bullwhip has many parts in the story.
Then we get to go home with Brad as he deals with a family problem and tries to be everything that his family needs from him. He's being pulled in many directions with some fun distractions and manages them all in true Master Anderson fashion......a good ole prank!!! Had some great laughs with that and fell in love with the connection he has with his horse Hot Chocolate and Kiah and her puppies.
Many, many emotions throughout this story and you will feel each one deeply. The laughs and tears, highs and lows all kept me wanting more and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I read the story twice, I always do because I'm a fast reader and need to make sure that I didn't miss anything. Don't miss this book, you will want to experience ALL of Master Anderson for yourself.

Hold on to your hats girls!
Brilliant! In this latest installment in the Rise of the Dominants series by Red Phoenix, we get another pre-training center in-depth look at our favourite Doms/Dommes from the Brie's Submission books. It's so much fun to get to see what made these characters into the ones we know and love.
This book is of a young Brad Anderson, the kind-hearted cowboy and bullwhip master, who returns to his Colorado home to help save his family's ranch. Not to mention his intense drive to protect not just his blood family but the family he has created amongst Thane and Durov as well. At the core of Brad's being will always be a strong sense of family in all forms and he has such a big heart. We also see him broaden his Dom side with the addition of some new sexy/influential characters which of course leads to some very hot scenes with his famous bullwhip. You'll definitely swoon, ladies.
While these books are best read in order as a series, the author provides enough background in each book that they could be read as standalones. However, I don't really recommend it because you'll enjoy it much more if you get all the little references and jokes. The preference is yours.
As always, I truly enjoyed the work of such a talented author and I will continue to sing her praises from the rooftops. She always delivers a sinfully good time as well as a heartwarming story that truly resonates with readers. I can't wait to read what happens next in this series.

Brad is struggling with a few family issues. He’s starting his senior year of college and must make some tough decisions. His family means everything to him, and he’ll do everything in his power to help them. Brad is also working very hard navigating through the BDSM community Durov has introduced him to and embracing all that it offers. He truly wants to be a great Dom, and he’s learning so much from so many.
Brad has been gifted with friendships with so many different men who all leave an indelible mark on the cowboy from Colorado. Although he’d prefer to keep all his troubles to himself, his true friends won’t allow that and show him how much they care. You can certainly see how these friendships have endured. And until she does, he’s going to enjoy everything that comes his way. I love this cowboy so much. He’s not the Sadist that Rytsar is, and not the same Dom as Thane. He wields the hell out of that bullwhip, and he’s such a compassionate Dom. Those cowboy manners are quite endearing.
Of course, we get to catch up with Durov and Thane. I’m really enjoying this deeper delve into the very beginnings of these three Dominants. You forget how young these three are in this series, especially Durov with his very old soul. What an amazing story! And what a secret!

Oh Master Anderson!! I love going back into time to see my favorite jokester grow his bond with Thane and Durov. We see Master Anderson and all the beginning of the love with his whip *shivers*. We see him becoming the man we all love. I mean how do you not love a man who can sweep you off your feet with cooking and spankings *Wink*
I enjoyed seeing him become the respectful and loyal friend we love in the main series. I loved seeing his past and knowing how it shapes his future. I enjoyed seeing how him grow his skills but what I loved was his special relationship with Dominus. When we see him enter the training center it was so exciting. I love seeing the “before” scenes. We all know what happens once Brie enter but seeing before is mesmerizing!!

I love Master Anderson, the cowboy in The Cowboy's Secret. You're going love him and love this book. You'll laugh out loud, cry ugly tears, and learn a lot about life and love and loss in the process. This is not a book report, you can read the synopsis elsewhere, and I'm not giving away spoilers. I am telling you of my feelings about The Cowboy's Secret. I loved learning of Master Anderson's past and how that influenced his life. The cowboy is an intelligent, principled, honorable, sexy as sin, yet fun loving Dominant. He cares deeply and fully about everyone in his life, and for the women he encounters. His early years elucidate the events that form his life, and his relationships with the other Dominants at the Submissive training Center. I loved seeing all of my favorite characters again. This story takes us back to Master Anderson and college days with Thane and Durov.
Brad returns to his Colorado homestead to help save his family's ranch. While he is there he tries to prank his father, which backfires on him. Brad's youngest sibling, Christina, seems to have taken the hit the hardest with her father and brother's absence.
Brad's friend Rystar comes for a visit at the families ranch in Colorado. Brad is worried of Rystar being around his young siblings. Rystar is nothing but a doting 'older' brother to the young girls. Rystar has a wonderful connection with Brad's mother, they cook very well together!
There is a scene with Brad and a old friend from high school, Emily, I'm not sure why we were introduced to her. Why she was part of the story.
We get a sneak peek at the Submissive Training Center and the first meeting of Master Anderson and Tono. We are also introduced to a new Dom, Dominus, who mentors Master Anderson and becomes someone that Master Anderson holds dear to his heart. Dominus has a lot of knowledge and wisdom he shares with Master Anderson.

I was so excited to read The Cowboy's Secret because Brad Anderson is one hella sexy smart cowboy!
He has an incredible sense of humor and in this book you also see how hilarious his family is! He has a very close knit family ties and he also has a very special bond with his college buddies Rytsar and Thane. Although in The Cowboy's secret Brad meets Dominus and he becomes Brads mentor in many ways and later a treasured friend. The crazy fun we have come to expect from Brad is in full swing in this story but his true love of family and friendship really is the spotlight. I loved reading this story because it really shows Brad at his most vulnerable time as a young college man sowing his oats and what he thinks should be a wild time of his life. The development of his character really starts when he needs to help his family save their ranch. I really fell hard for Brad during the Brie series and I can tell you like him or not you will love how he grows into the amazing Dom/man that he becomes!

What a fabulous book! I was enthralled from the start and couldn't put it down. I had this book and didn't read it but in Red's latest Brie novel, The Unchained Heart, there was a mention of Master Anderson's secret... I am so happy that I already had the book.
Master Anderson was not one of my favorites from the Submissive Training School (I'm a Tono and Rytsar fan!), but this book gives him so much more depth and I loved living in his brain. I didn't realize that he was as smart as he is since he is so often a jokester. I had read an earlier book about Master Anderson's journey and he meets the little red haired girl. I didn't understand her significance to his life until reading this book.
I also had the opportunity to meet another outstanding Dom, Dominus Toth. He stole my heart and broke it in the same story! There are those that come into our lives and it is never the same again, such is the relationship between these men. Enjoy this endearing and interesting peek into Brad Anderson's world!

In true Red Phoenix fashion... this book has all the feels. From hot and steamy moments, to laughter of Master Anderson's pranks, to tears that will bring out the box of Kleenex. This book is another amazing book about Master Anderson. We are back to his last year or so of college and finding out more of what makes Master Anderson the man he is today. He goes through finishing his last year with out his two best friends Thane and Rytsar. Not to worry they are in the book. We see and feel the struggles he faces trying to finish collage and help his father not lose the family ranch. You also get to meet the man that helped make Brad see what he needs to do to get what he wants. This book was amazing. If I could give it 100 stars I would. There is nothing like a Red Phoenix book and the stories of Brie, Sir, Master Anderson, Rytsar and all the others. Read it, you will NOT be disappointed!!

As I start to read The Cowboys Secret, I feel a peaceful calming feeling settled over me. It's like coming home and feeling love surround me. That is the only way I can describe it. Red Phoenix writes her books with such depth and description that the characters practically jump off the page. I so enjoy going back in time with the Dominants to see where it all began.
This book was such a joy to read. I laughed out loud several times. Along with the pranks Brad's family is famous for there are hard times that build him into the man and Dominant he is today. There are tender heartwarming moments that will make you cry. And of course, hot sizzling sexy scenes.

Another Emotionally-Packed Story! Another hit for sure!
Red Phoenix always knows exactly how to move me with her writing skills. She’s so talented that it’s a challenge to remember that these aren’t real living, breathing human beings. What a talent! This book about Master Brad Anderson illuminated so much about the man, his history, his desires and purpose in the Brie’s Submission series. I truly enjoyed the humor of this man and his family and had many “laugh-out-loud” moments. I love the way this author really brings forth the passion in her characters and helps us to “feel” what they are feeling as if we were standing next to them. Discovering this cowboy’s secret was well worth the wait and I feel privileged to be one of the readers who now know it. If you have any misgivings about reading this book…don’t! Well, I've decided that I need to stop thinking when I open one of Red's books. I received the ARC of this book and devoured it on my lunch break. OMG. The feelings. The passion. There was just so much going on and I loved every second of it.
What I love about this book is it intertwines with the prior books and has hints into what happens within the Brie's Submission series flawlessly. You see how Master Anderson has grown to the man we know him to be from Brie's serie. We see the growth in friendship and brotherhood between Sir and Rytsar. It makes you love them even more. We also get introduced to Tono in this plot which again intertwines with the Brie series. The growth, the family and the love in this story will make you fall in love with Master Anderson all over again!

Wow, i am without words to review this story of resiliance, love. So much love, this is like a nice warm hug, that only Master Anderson can give you freely with a pure heart and soul. Our fearless trio Durov, Thane and Brad enjoy college life until things strat unravelling. Durov moving back to Russia to save his sanity. Thane not far behind having a deep gut feeeling that his friend needed him. Brad's family life ready to explode while trying to finish college. However one night Master Anderson meets a mysterious stranger Dominus, who will show him the way and guide him to finding a solution to his problem. With Dominus help our big hearted cowboy transforms himself into the present day fun strong dominant everybody loves. Will he find the One? Red Phoenix spun this heartwarming sensuous journey into where this strong man comes from. I volunteered to review this fabulous story.

Lips tremble, water streaks down the face… an author sure knows how to impact her readers with the emotions within the pages.
To dive deep into Brad Anderson’s background and his own makeup, is something to be desired. In all honesty, I love his bull whip and his jokester personality but other than that I am not a complete fan of his- I am more of a Rystar fan.
But to say that this book didn’t capture my attention and the adventures, and obstacles that Master Anderson goes on, i felt it deep within.
As I read, I noticed that Brad and Thane’s personality is similar to Brie and Leah’s friendship. With the jokes/ pranks from Brad (similar to Leah) and the subdued, intellect of Brie (similar to Thane)… very interesting in my opinion on how their friendship is and how it ties all together.

Great Book
Ahhh it was so lovey to revisit with a young Master Anderson and what he was going through while he attended college, god I love this Dom and his family are just awesome.
I absolutely love his relationship with Dominus he just screamed his awesomeness from the pages and it was nice to see the man we only had a tiny glimpse of before he left with Glee so long ago.
I loved the interaction with Rytsar and Brad’s Mom ❤️❤️
Those 3 Dom’s (Sir, Brad & Rytsar) are just amazing men and can’t wait for more from all of them but the redhead has me stumped on who I think she is and I’m not going down the normal route either.
Red what another great book but you made me cry real ugly tears at Brad’s return, damn woman I kind of thought something wasn’t right when they drank the full bottle.
Can’t wait for the next step in Brie’s journey.

Master Anderson… he might just be my favorite… even I.f I’m a little afraid of his whip.
This book, getting to know him better, was heart warming, and eye opening. I knew he was a good man, but seeing how he got there just solidifies that knowledge. His heart… is soft, yet solid. His mind… is bright and brilliant. He works hard, plays hard, and loves hard. His family… is what everyone should experience. They live life to the fullest, even when things look grim, they love deeply, and embrace new comers, they laugh, often and loud. They are the epitome of the word… family.
If you’ve been reading the Brie series, you know Master Anderson… but after reading this book.. you’ll understand so much more. His secret is a biggie!! And explains so much!
You have to read this! Your will love it.

Oh, Master Anderson. I love this cowboy, he is one of my favorites to see in Red’s books. I know it’s tough, there are so many wonderful characters, and very hard to choose mains. So I’ll just say I love them all… but Anderson holds a special place. It’s his aura, sense of humor, and his passion.
This book refers back to the boy’s college days, when learning about their craft and themselves is happening. Get to see Master Anderson’s interaction with his family. Which remind me so much of my own. Lol. But this time it’s somewhat just Anderson. He’s growing as an individual, and as a Dom….

Red Phoenix delivers yet another spectacular glimpse into Master Anderson’s beginnings. The “Cowboy’s Secret” gives us a closer look at the sentimental softy who is truly devoted to his friends and family. We’ve all come to know and love Master Anderson and his nurturing ways. This book provides the missing piece of what truly sculpted Master Anderson into the successful businessman and Dom he is today. Throughout the book, I desperately tried to figure out the secret that Master Anderson carries with him. Boy was I way off base. As always, Res d’s stories bring us in touch with all of our emotions. I laughed. I cried. I was anxious. I loved. And I grieved again with Rystar. And speaking of that sadist, the final chapter…it captures everything important. Starting out freshman year who knew Brad Anderson, Thane Davis, and Rytsar Durov would become fast friends who turn into masterful Dominants forever connected by an unbreakable bond. Punched me right in the feels.

The Cowboy's Secret 5 Stare rating.
I enjoyed this book in so many ways. The Cowboys secret was meant to be not just a stand alone but for me it's another piece of the larger puzzle of the entire Brie's Submission series. While the story had a couple of repeat scenes I think it gave context for the newcomer to Red's books. We see where Brad shows his depth of character. We see more of his love of family as he strives to help his parent's keep their home. His caring for his sister's, who are growing up. His mentor Dominus who leads Brad to discover the answer's adding to his confidence in himself. Brad is a Dom, who loves women, great with his whip. I would want him for a friend or lover.
I didn't want the story to end.... I can see where there could be another book.

Red Phoenix is a wonderful and talented author that weaves a story like it is simply part of her everyday life. Brining the lifestyle to life among the pages of all of her books shows it in a correct and positive light. Bringing a real life Dom to the pages of this book shows how much she is knowledgeable and loves the characters she has come to love as family.
Master Anderson's story is one that shows the love of man and his bull whip. Overcoming obstacles to create senses that are interesting and desirable for all parties involved. This story gives us Brad's story but also glimpses back to Thane and Rystar that we have a fondness for. I highly recommend this book and this series. Red is by far one of my favorite authors.

This is the story of young Brad Anderson as he struggles to finish college without his two best friends. He struggles with helping his family save their farm. And he learns from a dear friend and teacher how to become the best Dom he can be as well as the best man he can be. I enjoyed Brad’s antics with his family and his friends. It brought a lightheartedness to the book that I believe was needed because Brad struggles this last year. He worries about his family and farm and he dearly misses his two best friends. He puts a lot of pressure on himself to earn money for his dad, to get a double major, and continue his Dom training. I will not get into details about his Dom training. Reading that on your own will heighten your love for Master Anderson. This was just a great story to read.

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughed and cried. I was happy and sad. The pranks are epic. The advice given to Master Anderson from an unexpected new character was enlightening. The different challenges given to the subs in this book are very creative leading to the profoundness of the advice. It told of the love of family, whether by blood or by friendship, and the comfort even the simplest of jestures can make. This book binds Master Anderson, Sir Davis, and Rystar Durov together in a way like no other. It is a must read and was well worth the wait. "Egészségedre" to Red and her muses.

Master Anderson is the happy, prankster cowboy we all know and love. Throughout Brie’s Submission, we get to know Master Anderson quite well and to be honest fall a little in love with him. In A Cowboy’s Secret we learn more about his past, how he has come to be the man and Dom he is today.
