Just read four Mike Gomes books one after the other. All were easy to read and enjoyable, flawed hero, action based yarns. The only issues I had were numerous spelling or grammatical errors and poor research on locations. The novel based in Australia was so wrong in so many ways i actually laughed out loud, e.g the Indian Pacific railway going around the coast when it actually goes in a straight line across the desert, including the longest straight stretch of rail in the world. This followed by bank robberies in a town that has no bank and where the major buildings and employers are two prisons. 😁
